I'd say the bigger issue is if GPS still loses signal after 20-30 mins. Planning to test this out soon.

I haven't had time to go for a drive yet, to see if it can hold a lock with only 3 sats. I'm hoping gpstatus is misreporting.

Do you know how disappointing it is when the Epic has the new Market on froyo and the EVO 3D doesn't have it yet...

Try that workaround. It involves a hacked/modified Google Videos app that disables the root check. I don't know if it works personally because I only use Netflix mobile.
Edit: Before anyone asks, that hack just gives rooted users access to the movies they legitimately paid for. IT WILL NOT MAGICALLY ALLOW YOU TO WATCH MOVIES FOR FREE.

When trying to Odin, the phone shuts off when it gets to the cache.rfs...or the screen turns white and it just sits there.

This got off topic really fast lol

They removed all debugging stuff that sprint uses to debug. I am safe to say this build is final

How could it be final if there is eh11 and eh 13

Everything seems good.

Wow, if you're sure it can be done easily from the Nexus S dump then it must be true. Someone who can make a statement like that must have the expertise to whip up some drivers for our CDMA radio, wimax, and all the other stuff that is different in the Epic from the Nexus S. Let me know when all this "pretty easy" work is done so I can flash it.

No...Netflix does not support our hardware at this time.
it's common courtesy to use question marks at the end and the "Is this a question? [x] Yes, this thread is a Question!" box when posting a question thread.

If you get it working and we can watch instantly, please make a new thread possibly in development stating "Netflix working" and you will hit over a 1000 thanks in no time. Good luck.

Netflix works on ED12 leaky Gingerbread as well as the new EE03 build. You have to sideload the app on ED12.

I had loaded it on my vibrant yesterday.
Overall I was surprised how well it ran honestly.
The things that I noticed that didn't work:
call,
wifi,
my gps didn't work,
I did not notice any sort of data activity.
Time and date where off a bit for me.
Sound did not work.
Just about every app force closed too.
Home, menu, and back button where working for me, search didnt tho.
Music Player did work technically (minus the lack of sound) - when changing songs or menus inside the player, a red border would flash around the outside of the screen.
and turning the phone off just caused it to reboot, had to pull the battery eventually.

Makes sense. The EF02 release was too buggy to be a RC, plus it still has the debugging code embedded in it. Maybe EF10 was a RC?

Well hopefully it's a GPS fix as well as everyone on the leak is losing signal after 10-15 minutes or so yielding it pretty much unusable.

EF16, that was quick. Do you suppose there will be a leak of it before an official release? Forgive my ignorance but what is this Sprint "Playbook" I see referred to from time to time and when is it updated?

Lots of post-EG22 builds

Don't know if it's important, but I just noticed there are 4 post EG22 builds.
EG29
EG30
EH02
EH03
I reckon it's about done, eh?
EH04 and EH05 too.
yes, judging by these builds it seems like they are almost done and doing small stuff like making sure apps are working as they should and optimizing code and such. I remember when i had my hero they always sped up build rate before release (2.1).
Oh yeah, I see the EH04 & EH05 now, but how can that be? That would be tomorrow & the next day's builds... Has Samsung figured out how to bend time?

With the rate of release, I suspect they are stripping out the debug features. Hopefully it's soon, I'd like to see GB on the Epic before I plunge off to the Within or the Epic 4G Touch as they are now calling it.

In development you have UAT QA which leads to this multiple builds drama. Everytime the QA tech kicks back the code the devs go back recompile the fix and they have to stamp it with a new build number.
