OP, Please put the carrier and/or (at the very least) the FW in the thread title.
Otherwise it makes things harder to find when people do a search...

You posted in the right place only problem is that you were so vague on what was going on no one could actually help. Also if anyone wants to snag the update for "backup" if you look in the stickey section there are instructions there on how to do so.
PS. Conrats Bell users on the update looks like Bell isn't too far behind the ATT updates
But thats just my 2 cents

That should help you out, if you haven't seen it already. I may or may not hold off on the OTA because it may help with the Droid X rooting efforts. Chances are I'll get it though :-/
This is my first android phone so I'm just wondering...what's the procedure for an OTA update? Will the Droid X automatically prompt us when it becomes available or is there a manual action required?

automatic, so yes something will prompt you and if you don't click for it yourself in 3 minutes is the time frame i believe, it will automatically just do it. it will restart your phone after it downloads and then install and start up again.

Just got a Skype update. It now supports video calling for certain phones. I can't remember all that were listed but nexus s and a couple from HTC were there. No mention of the ATRIX. I can't see any options or indications of the feature anywhere in the program and I have no one on my list online to call. If its in the app I assume it should be able to be enabled for the ATRIX with a little tinkering.

THE PATCHED HACK DOES NOT WORK.
it doesn't work on either froyo or GB, has been tested over the last 2 days. it only works on a few samsung and HTC devices, most likely related more to the processor and NEON capabilities of the device, which our phone lacks.

just got the text.
yeah, thanks for that guys, you're a few years too late.
Is there even anything on there worth looking at? What keeps that service going? It's usually one of the first things I freeze on my modified stock ROM installs. I remember years ago when they launched "Power Vision" on 3G (cutting edge at the time) and old Voltron episodes were about the only cool thing I found.
Espn. There is a few and there is movies. My guess is maybe some live sports. After while. But. Hd. On wifi. And I used to watch it back on my. Samsung. Upstage

Yes its all legality blah blah, but lets face it. Moto has farred better with more users getting their hands on the update and vetting it than not. Should be more of a public affair.
