Android mobile shell

Idk who had a Windows mobile before In this forum , but in pretty sure if there is someone then most likely know what windows mobile shell is , well apparently they creating one for android and this is how it looks (link below ) any thoughs ?

Interesting... I guess I should get my google on.

ahhh i got it but it says it has to be activated. But when i tried it says device not supported.... i would post the apk but its probably considered warez so its a no go...

yeah signed up for the beta long ago when they showed this at CES and from what i've gathered here in the main android forum, no one new has gotten into the beta at all.
sucks just need ot release the thing or invite more ppl in the beta, or least give an update. you delay too long and you will be forever playing catchup to the newer OS's

Downloading as we speak =)

Started downloading at 12:01. Hope the update goes smoothly. I'll post back what happened.

Seeing it here, as well... but I'm waiting to find out what the situation is with root before I even think about downloading it. The anticipation is killing me!

well its 11pm here in chicago but i did check and receieve a 188mb download just hope this is it.

seems im stuck at 74% installing

Found out it was live through my uncle! He doesn't even know much about Android lol but he loves his GTab.

Mine is stuck on 74% install as well
Edit: it's starting to continue, but now stuck on 77%

Thanks for the heads up....This progress bar after the reboot is killing me!

At 86% currently. Mine also seemed to be on 74% forever.

Just saying Hi

I'm one of the new guys on the block. Wanted to say hi. I can't post in teh DEV section yet, which I guess is okay as I'm a noob. I want to first off extend a huge "Atta Boy" to GruesomeWolf and his crew. The SHOOTER RLS1 ROM is fantastic.
I also wanted to say thank you to the DEV's who actually broke the corporate choke hold and found the root exploit for our EVO 4G's. I just changed to sprint from Verizon. I hate big Red. They suck much ass.
I previously had a Moto Droid2 that I broke the bootloader on and flashed to Android 2.3.3 early. It was rooted, and it still sucked. I'm so much happier on my EVO.
So that was a little about me, just wanted to say hi and give thanks.

I switched from big red too a year ago. Was on that lg dare "iphone.killer".lmao

Now go enjoy your new rooted Evo 4g. Been happy with mine for over a year now and will be a little longer until something worth upgrading to come along.

Welcome to the forums! I took my evo in to sprint due to the charging port not working, had to unroot it to take it in, and then the guy updated it to 2.3.3 for me without me knowing. They just gave me a new charger for the charging issue and it started happening again a week later

Hi! Welcome. I'm new myself but have been lurking for a bit. Running MikG myself. It's great so far. When I first got my EVO I wasn't sure if I would root or not. Of course then the exploit came out and I couldn't resist.

How do I give "Thanks" to someone? I really want to extend a thanks to GW for this SHOOTER ROM. Its a little bugy, but none the less its so sweet its diabetic.
I'm loving my EVO 4G. Its the best phoen I have ever had.

Well I'm on my laptop and I don't see any thanks link. Does this have to be mobile from my phone?
Also, I can't post in the dev section, but I'm having some bugs with this ROM and wanted to discuss them. Where would the appropriate place be in this case?

Try to choose XDA 2010 mode instead of Classic. Should located at the very bottom on the left hand side.

I found it. I swear it was never there before but it is now.

New to rooting as well. XDA has just a wealth of knowledge and awesome developers. I am using Kinged Shooter 2.1 and so far it is it best ROM I have used.

Actually tapatalk has a thanks button now. So you can do it from your mobile.

Yeah the only reason I don't use the xda app is because I've had tapatalk pro since before the xda app was available.

[Q] break.com app???

So I went to Break.com (with my phone) and it said "HEY!!! Download the Break.com app for Android!" I said SURE!!! Went to the Market and couldn't find it. Any idea what happened to it?

I don't ever visit break.com much, but perhaps the app is located for d/l on their site?

It says to search "break.com" in the market which doesn't return their app. I would wait, they might have updated their site prematurely.

Yeah I saw that on their site. It seems it came out last year. I found the app on androlib, nothing but bad reviews on it. Lol Its gone from the market. So maybe they are going to release an update soon?

They pulled it from the market recently. Not sure why, it could be because there are boobies in the app lol. I will see if I have the apk of the latest one if anyone wants it. It was working fine for me. Funny videos.

It's been working on 2.2 for our epic's for quite some time already also.

I'm aware of that, just posting that Netflix made it official today.

Easy there bruiser. Hasn't been in my market since the day I got the phone, and I have looked for several friends as well. Never worked on our phones even rooted.

I have been using netflix for at least a month direct from the market without any sort of problems at all on both my rooted, and my wife's stock epics..

Fair enough. I have not seen it, but its possible my recollection of when I last checked is wrong. Things become fuzzy when your wife has another kid. I have trouble remembering my way home sometimes. ;-)
