conditional call forwarding active - Galaxy S I9000 General

I've had my root SGS a few weeks ago, suddenly one day it could not ring more or receive calls.
This has worked before and after the root, but suddenly my phone just says: "conditional call forwarding active" when I try rings.
anyone know what happened? or how I can change it?
it must be said that my sim is fully functional on other phones, and when others have the SIM card into my phone gets the same error
Hope you can help

Hi mate, have you had any luck with this, I get exactly the same problem, though I can get through on calls. I also get an error message concerning MMI as well whenever entering # codes into the dialer.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Should be able to turn of in Call Settings/All Calls/Voice Calls....

Cannot send SMS but can recieve

Hi there from the title its pretty self explanatory
im from melb, aus
got a "Telstra" Touch HD but im using another different companies Sim card in it
i can make and recieve calls
i did a "Clear storage" but nothing helped there
i read about something referring to "At commands" or "at commanders"
but nothing found doing a search
thanks
same problem with me.. i send a message and after some time it says message could not be sent.. sometime i receive the message with a delay too.. i checked my sim in other phone, there it is fine.. the problem is only in touch
Similar problems connecting to internet and making phone calls
I occasionally have the problem sending texts but more frequently cannot make a phone call or data connection. I have found that if I go into the Comm Manager and set the phone to Airplane Mode and then back to Phone mode that this works 9 times out of 10. However, this is not a very satisfactory or permanent fix. If anyone has a more permanent solution I would be interested in hearing it. I live in the UK and am on the the 3 network. I have a feeling it may be an issue with my provider and not the phone but the help staff at 3 are useless. Thanks!
hey there
sorry for late reply
but i had my service provider reset my messaging service and it worked by the end of the day.
not sure why it was the case. too complicated for me to try and explain probably.
peace

No SMS missed call alert, how to enable?

Hi All, I am having problem of SMS missed call alert, in my windows mobile phone (HD2), when i received a call while there is no signal of phone, I will get a missed call SMS alert when the phone is back into signal, this doesn't happen in I9000, I know this might be network related, but I am using the same Sim card and I couldn't find anywhere to enable this function.
Do you all have SMS alert telling you your missed call? Or is this an issue of I9000 or even Android?
p.s. It's been a long time since my last post, nice to see you all here!
anyone has any idea? it really bother me since I now don't know who has call me when my phone has no signal....
Pretty sure that's a service provider feature and nothing to do with the phone.
that's what I thought, but I use the same sim card, and it was working fine on my HD2 before, do yours give you sms alert?

when you try to call someone , the device automatically adds 011 to the # ?
It's a setting you can enable/disable in the settings. I'm sorry I cant advise you ATM as
I'm not running android,I'm using WinMo, But i remember that it was " Add Country code or prefix to Numbers " or something like this, just disable it .
But others should be able to call you normally, as their phones doesn't add prefix.

Need help with call forwarding ... not able to make outgoing calls anymore

Hi All,
a few dasy ago i played around with activting call forwording with GSM codes. I didnt get this to work but something happend.
Now when i try to make an outgoing call there is a message "diverted to xxxxxxx by pattern" and its dialing the number i tried to get working with the GSM codes.
First i thought this must be a SIM or provider problem but i tried the SIM in two other phones and there a no problems at all.
Next i completely reinstalled the P9 Lite from scrath but that doenst help either.
So something must be wrong with the P9 Lite. Maybe some leftover anywhere ?
Does anybody have an idea how the fix that problem ? Otherwise i can throw this phone away because i need to make outgoing calls.
Hopefully someone can help me......

Heyho,
that sounds really bad... But it also sounds like u activated maybe the "Call barring" not the "Call forwarding"?
-
Have a look at this site, specially under "Call barring" and check if u entered such an GSM code. If so, i hope the codes provided on the site, will help u to disable the "Call barring" again.
Regards,
Sebastian
I just found the cause of this problem and now I feel like a total noob
While playing around with the GSM codes i also tried Tasker internal function "call divert". But this function is only for outgoing calls. I totally forget about that

Calls are constantly dropped with Ting on my S5 G900V (locked bootloaders)

I never tested the phone out when I first got it, but I checked to see if it was unlocked by putting in a new sim card. Seemed to be unlocked. I did the "root" method on here to flash back to an older OS which worked for what I needed it to do. But ever since I got the phone, calls are constantly missed (I can use another phone to call this mobile and the mobile won't ring, it'll go to voicemail), my calls are constantly dropped, I rarely can call out, if I am able to call out the other person might not be able to hear me. The only thing that works well is the texting. I use Ting as my provider and have spoken to them many times because the original problem was that I couldn't access my voicemail and it kept giving me a mmi error. They gave me the voicemail number to directly call which I've been doing to get around the error of using the built in voicemail system. They've stated verizon phones aren't the most compatible with their system and they suggested maybe the sim card isn't functioning properly. I've spoken with their customer service at least four times over the last 8 months but these problem never really went away.
Anyone have any idea what I can do? I need a reliable phone now for phone calls. Should I try flashing back to stock 6.0? Or do you think it has nothing to do with what I did to get the "root" on it? This is the guide I followed:
