When I receive a call and my phone is in standby mode when the screen is black, then opens it does not automatically screen, it continues to be black, I must press the Home button to make something appear. Is there a solution to this "problem"?

i have an spv m700 with dopod rom loaded. the problem is that default 'phone' app hangs and doesn't exit with 'End Key' button. this happens only when i'm on a call for long enough for the backlight to go off, the call ends when i press the end button but the phone application doesn't exit to the today screen and when i press the ok key to exit, the today screen appears but with a stuck task bar saying 'Phone' instead of 'Start'. the windows key doesn't work either and i have to turn off the display and turn it back on to refresh the whole today screen and task bar.
please help.

I used to have it so that if I held down the red (hang up) button, and picked no choices from the menu that comes up (lock, turn off screen, sleep, etc.), it would automatically become locked needing me to slide the slider next time I turned it on before it would take keyboard commands. I soft-reset it, and now that doesn't happen anymore - on wakeup, it goes right to the Today screen. I don't like it because it comes on in my pocket sometimes. I tried
HKCU\ControlPanel\KeyBd\Devicelockwhensuspended = 1
HKCU\ControlPanel\BackLight\AutoDeviceLockEnable = 1
but still no good. When I hold down the red button, it gives me a choice of Power Off, Turn Screen Off, Lock Device, and Set vibrate. If I do nothing, the screen goes off (which is where it used to be locked), but now when I hit the green button to wake it up, I see this same menu again - not the locked slider. When it goes to sleep on its own, it doesn't lock either - straight to Today screen when a button is pressed. What's going on?!?
My next attempt was to assign the "hold down red button" to \Windows\DeviceLock.exe but I can't figure out how to assign "hold red button" - what's the best way to do that?

So I charged my phone through my pc, slept for about 8 hours and when I wake up, the screen is black, back button and multi task button lights up, and i hear sounds when I touch the screen, its just that the screen is black. What can I do? Is my screen ****ed?

How to disable it, so even wen i press power it still calls as usual or with vibrations, only screen go black?

I don't think is it possible to change this behavior.
May I ask why do you want such thing?

From few day's my HTC Evo 10 does not shows up when pressing power button or with finger scanner, its lights shows it turn on but screen remain blank and black, nothing appear, no matter how many times you press the power button, some one made a video in youtube, when I search but couldn't find the solution,
does anyone here knows anything about it?
