Hi everybody
In the Thread of racht' s ROM, I need to Install BASEBAND xxx15.
There is two version of Baseband xxx15, one for SE X8a, and one for SE X8i.
So, how can I know which version I have, of Sony X8?
Please help me

Go to settings - about phone, and model number will be E15i or E15a, depending of your phone..

There does not exist this codename X8i just X8 for just E15i and E15a.
People will think this are completly diffrent phones
X8 is marketing name. E15 is SE's model number. Shakira is SE's phone codename - every SE phone has got one.
In my BB collection I've named them X8i/a because phone is the best known by it's marketing name, X8.

what´s the difference beetween E15i and E15a?
I have E15i.
I think that E15a is the japanese version of E15i, the final letters (i and a) define the diferences bethween bands of GSM.

i think E15a is for American version of E15i.just the same as X10 and X10a.
X10a is AT&T branded.

E15i 2.1.1.B.0.5 YOIGO ES/WHITE WORLD-1-8 is available through Davinci client. They have R&D EMMA access (lucky them)... But it's unknown what's in that update...

No, he didn't, it just have been approved!
I hope the official update could make the camera work better and deal with some other small troubles. maybe the cm9.0 from FXP will be a better choose. your think?who knows the real day of releasing cm9.0.
These restart issues you experience [Xperia Neo V] may be caused by an unexpected memory behavior and for this a new software release (4.0.2.A.0.6x) will be made available to improve the memory management. This goes for Xperia neo V and some other phone models with similar software.
The roll out of this is planned to start early next year - but please note that a software release depends on operator approval and timeline. All will not get it at the same time and I currently have no way to foresee when certain phones will get it.
The software will be made available via both PC Companion and FOTA (if supported by your operator).

i have ARC S and i rooted before using DooMLoRD_v3_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su
today i update the phone to 4.0.2.A.0.62 and after update the root not working i try rooted again with DooMLoRD_v3_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su but nothing changed
how to root the phone again please?

Probably because of low network coverage or any software glitch.
Try flashing .36 or .64 baseband
Thanks. I thought that the basebands could cause the problem.
Is there any Tutorials out there to flash basebands? The Arc is totally stock.

I've had some generic european roms and I've never had those two issues. First language always appear english, and the time and the date always have been correct by default, not in Moscow where I'm not living....

I dont understand what "issues" u mean. But anyway if u dont like this firmware, u can download it of other place or make your own .ftf :highfive:

I'm not saying I don't like it, the thing I'm saying is that is not the generic one, is the Russian one.
I've never had to turn off the automatic time/date in order to set the clock in my real area. With this firmware if i leave it automatic, the area is set in Moscow and not where I leave (Spain). That never happened to me with any "generic" firmware.
