I've had some generic european roms and I've never had those two issues. First language always appear english, and the time and the date always have been correct by default, not in Moscow where I'm not living....

I'm not saying I don't like it, the thing I'm saying is that is not the generic one, is the Russian one.
I've never had to turn off the automatic time/date in order to set the clock in my real area. With this firmware if i leave it automatic, the area is set in Moscow and not where I leave (Spain). That never happened to me with any "generic" firmware.

Don't pay attention, just another stupid catalan that thinks that his province is the center of the universe. And that thinks that they can speak catalan anywhere on the planet and the rest of the people must understand them.
I'm assuming they mean there has been some worldwide instructions for all regions to make a firmware available to customers rather than it being out in all regions, because I don't get any update announced for my phone.

Now I change the text. It was not my intention to write in Catalan. I use a translator because I have a low level of English and I mistakenly put the text in Catalan. I have not been able to edit the text until after 5 minutes.
With the comment of our friend vcespon, you can see the respect that some people have to Catalan.
Hey, guys, yesterday I received the update for my Xperia Z C6602. I am in Mexico and I bought my phone in GSM nation and I dont know which country was intended, but the firware says GLOBAL-HSPA_10.1.1.A.1.253
What I can say is that after every update released officialy for the Xperia Z C6603 my phone received them to after a couple a days... even when the OTA for the apps :good:

You should give a try to this firmware, as I said, I receive all the updates just couple a days after the officialy release, even the OTA for apps

Nah, don't worry, my noob fault: Got Flashtool Beta6 and flashing went butter smooth.
STEPS TO FLASH
Download the FTF file
Get Flashtool Beta6 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2162907
Install Flashtool Beta6
Install drivers from C:\Flashtool\Drivers
Copy FTF file to folder C:\Flashtool\Firmwares
Launch Flashtool64 (I'm using Win 7 64 bits) or Flashtool
Press the thunder icon
Select "Flashmode" and click "OK"
Choose the FTF
Tick "No final verification" and click "Flash"
Let it prepare the FTF file, it takes a couple of minutes
When asked, power off phone
Hold volume down button while connecting the USB cable
There you go
Flashtime: about 2 minutes
Disconnect USB cable
Power on the phone
First Boottime: about 3 minutes

As per Z2 software update changelog, it really does improve call quality, hopefully this fixed your issue.

LTE on the German firmware, that's why I use that instead of the French firmware that's using the "4G" icon. (****ing marketing morons thought it'd sell better this way...)

You can flash yourself some other region fw, ideally a customized (generic) one. Quite a simple procedure, look for flashtool and XperiFirm.

Tried it but it failed, a bug during the process... i follow a tutorial from this website. Its really boring dont get it why i dont have any update

The most common reason it fails is you don't have installed flashtools drivers.
If you're on windows 8/10 it could be tricky. Google for it

Dude, none of that matters. "1298-2387 Customized FR" is carrier-free. Available Internet access and Sony pushing out an update for that customisation is all that's required. His network/carrier doesn't get a say.
I'm also on .163.
Why would Sony wait to push an update, knowing they have already given the update to the carriers?

Yep, that's why I advise you to take an other customized country ROM xD
Like the Customized BE or DE It will works like a charm don't worry

The drivers are at the root of the flashtool folder in c drive. Just flashed the Australian one this morning...
