it works on arc LT15i but a little laggy, you can use some custom kernel, I recommend Doom'sKernel v4 for ICS beta then you can use the overclocking to get the LT18i performance.

I don't think this upgrade really worth it, I'm using GB .62 ROM with the Xperia Arc BIG PACK V3.1 and it feels like having Xperia S inside my arc phone

i'm on 4.3 journalists rom. No update notification for this. I also have another thread on updates. With these unofficial ROMs will the automatic update notifications not work? The walkman app that came with journalists rom is also v7 whereas the v8 is already out. Still no update nofitication? why?

Because the rom is unofficial.. and is not registered on Sony servers the firmware basically not exists

Thanks. When i had the 4.2 generic spain rom on my xperia z (4.2 is not available yet through my carrier) i still didn't get any notification for the walman. I think it was v5 or 6 for walkman on that rom. Why would that be the case?

Because Sony doesnt push updates for each region at the same time.. i can understand this in case of fw updates but why apps?... Anyways you can still install apk file of the latest walkman app its the same, just different way of instalation..

Thanks - may be i'll try the central europe rom just to see wheter i get the updates
BTW, I love the 4.3 rom..its so smooth and amazingly fast. Battery is also slightly better. I hope the official sony 4.3 is release soon..

It's just branding (country specific functions) and additional functions. eg. Garmin navigation.

Am so used to having a rooted Samsung phone that I didn't realize that flashtool wipes the phone...time to test Sony's Back up and restore app from a back up I made earlier :fingers-crossed:

This is the new firmware that was recently google certified right? Is this a leak or did it roll out in Europe? I take it our current root method should still work? I will help seed the torrent as well.

Is this showing up in PC Companion only for folks in certain countries? ie. I'm in the U.S. w/ the UK phone - will it show up after I relock my bootloader? Just curious.

The whole system needs to be patched up and (if applies) new driver blobs used,
so essentially the system recompiled.
Not sure how the vendors do it,
but that's at least the way you do it e.g. with AOSP

I flashed new customized TR and using it for one day. I actually did not notice anything difference between old version. I read update notes but Ringtone is still very low and charge optimization is very ****ty thing for us. Why we cant have to charge it fully? What is logic of this?
Anyway as I said I didnot notice anything different. Camera is the same, everything is the same. No Thanks Sony

You can download ftf file in there. There are ftf links for all countries.

New firmware is good, i am getting more juice from my mobile battery now. The phone doesn't heatup like hell now.. Battery is charging slowly. In the previous firmware the charging current of Fastcharger is 2 Ampere but in this firmware they limited the charging current to rest at 1.4 Ampere.

Is there any other host to download the ftf for o2-de?

We have to use a premium account to download files with more than 1GB.

I have not received this for Z4 Japanese versions or any of my Z3+ phones from various territories but I have received the small-sized maintenance update and heat issues have completely being eradicated... A miracle.
Running Z3 cool, with Z5 battery life (almost).

No OTA update yet. you need to use "Xperia Companion" PC Software to update your phone to 32.2.A.0.305. OTA will be released later. Or you can search downloading through "Xperia Firmware" and flashing by "Flash Tool".

Anyone noticed improvments? After this update my phone now doesnt get hot at all ,i get higher bemchmark scores more consistent ,i think it made a huge improvment.
