I tried the usb sync with my mac pro. It recognized the device and appeared to by syncing and said finished, but I can't find any media data on the TF after syncing.

I've searched for the solution to this problem with no luck so I'm hoping someone here can help me.
I'm using Onyx's ROM, ver 4, and ActiveSync (4.5) works fine if no media player is running. But as soon as I start WMP or MediaMonkey, or any player with syncing ability, ActiveSync would disconnect. It would show the spinning green icon and say connecting in the dialogue, but never reconnects.
The same is true if I have WMP or MediaMonkey already running and plug the phone in. ActiveSync would not connect at all. My media players are able to sync my iPod w/o issue, and if I put the phone in "disk drive" mode, I can sync to it as well.
So bottom line is, w/o any media player running, ActiveSync works; with media player running, ActiveSync doesn't work. Any ideas guys?

I noticed that when I have WINAMP running on my PC the bluetooth connection to active sync does not work due to port problems.
When I shut Winamp down it works.
Does anyone know how to configure AS ports and which ports are beeing used anyway?
oh I think it is actually OUTLOOK 2003 itself.

I have read and experienced that Windows Media Player will not sync over bluetooth, and that's pretty frustrating. I would love to download podcasts/music on my computer and wirelessly sync them to my phone using bluetooth overnight. Has anyone figured out how to make this happen?

Hi all, I'm new to this site and to the HD2(US/tmobile version) so I apologize ahead of time if this is a a dumb question! I just got the HD2 and am trying to sync my music to it but after a few songs, the sync process stops with no error message or anything. I have to unplug the device and plug it back in and start the process over again. Does anyone know what could be causeing this and more importantly, how to fix it?
i had the same problem, lately it doesnt exists anymore, i make lists of my songs to windows media player and then sync them to hd2, maybe the solution is that i copy list per list to sync and not all of them together, sometimes the sunc between pc - windows mobile just stops (some of windows mysteries).
I suppose that you connect win mobile with sync choise and not as usb connection
For the last 24 hours I am the happy owner of the new SGT 10.1. No light bledd no nothing. It works well. Although I miss some of the features of Froyo. I had difficulty in playing my flac files first. Anyway I first connected it via Kies and it downloaded drivers and then I realized that I had no contacts on that PC to sync. I wanted to sync my contacts and notes and calendar with outlook, so I connected my SGT 7 inch. Interestingly it was not recognized. I had to install USB drivers. I synced with the PC. I then reconnected the new TAB. It couldnt sync at first, and I dont know how all my contacts were there.... But I dont know what has happened whenever I connect SGT 10.1 Kies says this device cannot be updated and there are no menu items related to sync or backup or anything similar. I made a system restore on my PC and nothing changed. There should be something with the SGT. Any ideas?
