Hi for all,
now I'm using a WP7 ROM called HD2O© v1.14. I have already installed a Hard SPL 2.08, Radio 2.15 and Magldr 1.13.
And I want to flash this prety looking ROM from imilka developer ...
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=919148
Can I do that? Do I need something else? Or just boot to Maglfr, flash CWM and then ,,install zip from sd card,,. Please help me with this. Thanks a lot!

Yes.
Download this
Then read the instructions in your roms thread and then partition your sd card accordingly then flash rom.

Hi,
Firstly what LEO do you have(512 or 1024)
Backup your data before starting.
Get THIS TOOL
Set to Magldr repartition>Your size according to [OP]135M (or 150M) system partition layout for EU
350M system partition layout for TMOUS
Then repartition.
Go to ad recovery>wipe data,cache partition,dalvik(advanced).
Go to install zip from sd card, choose imilka's
reboot
enjoy
EDIT:
LOL SNAP

You got me. Both I don't know which version of HD2 I have How can I check it and what is the diference between 512 and 1024?
I'm from czech republic and I'm so sorry but I don't understand you. Both I need a video tutorial This could be a hope for me
EDIT: This ROM what I want is NAND so I don't need a cLK Partitioning right? And I have I think EU version so I don't need nothing. Just go to 5. USB Flasher in Magldr and flash CWM. Then just go to AD Recovery and flash MY ROM. Is this right or not?

Did you :
Go to ad recovery>wipe data, cache partition, dalvik(advanced) before you flashed rom?
Also maybe try cwm 135M.

Yes I did it. And I also tried CWM 400MB but the same issue. I don't understand this. I used this tutorial in my language

Ok,
Backup your sd card onto your pc.
You need to re-format your sd card using XP or G-Parted Live(google).
Go to recovery >advanced>partition sd card ...you want 1024M + 0 swap
Then try everything again.

Ok i will try this. And which CWM can I flash. 150MB or 400MB. I think that 150MB is enought.

Start with 135M as stated in [OP]

I couldn't find this version I applied 150MB and now I'm in CWM and doing Partitioning SD Card... Now it's complete. Now I must add my ROM to sd card because I formated it. And then I will apply this ROM. We will see

Now it takes about 3min. It isn't normal It's slashed

EDIT 2//Next change. Now HTC quuetly briliant animation show's up. Still booting

It's working. But for first boot it's a too slow. It's normal?

nand kernel open failed

after I flash with CWM, I get this when it trys to boot android "nand kernel open failed"
Also, in CWM, I get "E:Can't find misc"
installing nand without CWM works.
bump- I searched and didn't find anything helpful. I've tried 3 different roms
"Can't find misc" should only appear if you don't have a misc partition in NAND. (which is created when flashing CWM)
And nand kernel open failure probably means theres no zImage or initrd.gz in the boot partition.
Try flashing CWM from the CWM thread and then a ROM.

How did you transfer the zip file to SD? Did you use magldr? If so try re-transfering using your comp, as Magldr sometimes corrupts them.

I formated the SD-Card two times, reinstall cwm 150mb partition 3 times and still get the same error, first time within almost 1 year of android on my HD2 ._.
Any ideas or solutions welcome.

i get the "nand kernel open failed" error too.
i installed radio and hspl 2.08
then flashed MAGLDR 1.13
continued with CWM (250mb)

after installation, i get the error.
redid all 2 times now, nothing works.

Typhoon doesn't use 250mb CWM, use the one provided with rom 150MB System/5MB Cache (ClockworkMod Recovery v3.0.2.5), most "nand kernel open failed" are down to wrong CWM size
I'm getting the same error, but only with sense 3.0 roms. Any other roms I've used have installed have worked. Is there a certain step I'm missing with installing sense 3.0 roms? I'm using MAGLDR v1.13 and Clockwork Recovery Mod v3.0.2.5. I flashed recovery_150m_cache_5m.zip onto the phone using magldr usb flasher. Any ideas?

150mb for sense rom is definitely to low!
Read the rom's thread carefully guys!
It says there what CWR partition is needed.
Sense roms need SD CARD PARTITION so read the thread (it's first page).
If you have read it and your CWR partition looks exactly as it was given in the rom's thread then do task29, hspl, magldr 1.13 and CWR.
If it still doesn't work try different roms or try CLK.
Thanks for the response. How do I create a 5/240/5 partition through CWR? The last partition I made was just installed through .zip on CWR. Sorry for the questions, new to the hd2.
do all beginners understand this? you are probably putting the 'clk' version of the rom in your storage card for installation. you need the 'magdlr' version of the rom for clockwork mod to correctly install android

Hi guys, i had the same problem, and i figured maybe i can show u what i did, to help u.
i went to THIS thread and followed the instructions:
"Installation Guide for MAGLDR 1.13"
the error occured right after i flashed the MAGLDR_CWM_Recovery_v3.2.0.0_for_NexusHD2_135M.zip onto my HTC HD2.
the only thing i had to do was enter magldr boot menu (hold off button while booting)
then i choose AD RECOVERY
CWM started up and i choose install zip from SD card
ofcourse i have placed NexusHD2-Gingerbread_V3.0_NAND_(Android-2.3.5).zip onto the ROOT of my SD card previously.
the .zip file installed perfectly and then i rebooted my phone.
all was ok after that..
hope this helps!

AD SD Booting not working :(

Hello,
I have installed Magldr 1.3 + NANRDOID MDJ 2.6 ..
I am unable to go to the boot from ad sd option ... As in if i have to update any .zip file .. and I choose the option for ad sd boot .. it will get stuck in GO GO GO screen ..
Please help me ..
I have used task 29 and installed everything again ..
NOTE : I have installed a new sd card and updated the recover_250 file also.
Thanks ...
Have you installed a CWM 1.3 partition? You need to flash a partition from here to provide you with CWM Recovery. I know you say you have a recover_250 file, but is it the latest version?
To go to CWM you need to select the AD Recovery option not Boot AD SD.

If you are using magldr 1.13 with cwm 1.3 partitions you no longer go to Boot AD SD. To enter CWM you need to go to AD Recovery on magldr menu.
I had the same problem.
but now i have another problem which recovery should i take? 150 250 400???

This depends on what ROM you want to install using CWM. A large ROM like a Desire HD build requires more then a light ROM with only the essentials baked in. If you really aren't sure what to flash just check the guide accompanied with the ROM.
does this mean that I have to install CWM every time i want to install another ROM??

Technically, no. Not unless the partition layouts for the different ROM's you are trying are different and in turn they require you to run DAF (which re-partitions your NAND storage).
If they are the same then your partition layout won't be changed and your recovery partition, which is where CWM resides, won't be affected at all when switching ROM's.
but i could also install the biggest one(400) and everything would work because I can't have a too small partition???
could that work??

... have you tried releasing the write protect switch? To be fair, I don't know what that is but just have a look around, I'm sure you'll be able to find it somewhere.
Solution as follows in this case:
Insert your micro sd card into an sd adapter and make sure the switch is up on the card, this hould release the "write-protection" and in your computer try to copy some files into your SD Card and you will see. If this is succeeded then just pull out the micro sd from it's dapater becaue i am assuming last time you use the micro sd in an adaptor (converter to normal SD) the switch was pulled down and it enabled the write protection on the micro SD.
Please let me know if this worked for you.
HI! well u need to install the rom from MAGLDR. go to the 8th option 'AD recovery' to boot into clockworkmod. If u havent installed it, please do so. The EU model. (i'm not sure i understood your second question right) My memory stick is FAT32 partition, 8GB, idk wich class. And i'm trying to install the Nand version. I'm sorry for not writing those stuff earlyer.

You most probably need to reflash recovery with a new partition table, because the old system partition is too small. For EU model I suggest you to use DataOnExt instead of NAND, but you will have to repartition your card.

That daf you used is not a CWM, that's a ROM that doesn't require clockworkmod. Just use the NAND Toolkit and flash CWM from there.
