I just bought the widget locker app from the market...BEST 2 DOLLARS EVER SPENT!!! You would not believe the features this app has. Rotary lockscreen, iphone lockscreen, widgets and shortcuts on your lockscreen. And, my favorite part, NO HAPTIC FEEDBACK ON THE SLIDER!!! I would definitly recomend this app
*I attached a screenshot. The second shot has the iphone slider. Third is sense pull-down
I actually just got this app this weekend so im fairly new to it. How'd you get all those different sliders like rotary, iphone, and sense.
Open WidgetLocker settings then check under 'Look & Feel' > 'Sliders & Layout'.

Cool thanks!
I like the app but the couldn't get the security pattern to work with it. It was either a double lockscreen with a pattern, or no pattern at all. If they had that working I'd buy it again
Meh. Its ok. Not quite the best two bucks I ever spent. Its a little slow starting and doesn't actually replace the stock lock screen so much as cover over it. When u wake the phone u see a flash of the stock slider before widget locker takes over. Petty, but that annoys me. Using unlock patterns with it is also flakey. I do like the app, but in its current state its more the quality of a free app. Hopefully they continue to dev and provide some updates. If not, I don't figure ill be using it long.
That about sums it up. Neat app, needs work. If you have 2 bucks to spare, give it a try.

Hmmm, to bad. The settings are really touchy and you definitly dont have it right if your seeing the stock lockscreen when you wake the phone. To bad people put negative feedback out there when they dont even know how it works, see it all the time with apps in the market

I get same thing, the app can't open itself fast enough all the time to cover up the default lock screen. It is a cool app but not worth 2 dollars when there are so many apps out there that offer more for less.
No free app I know of let's you customize sliders and put widgets and shortcuts on the lock screen. You can bypass the 5 second transition from stock lock screen to widget locker in the settings.
Not meaning to sound negative. It is a cool app. I just expect a paid app to be a bit more refined. Less buggy, let's say. I will continue using and playing with it for a while.

some reboots when unlocking, and sometimes the stock lock screen appears before widget locker. I have changed the settings both using root bypass and home helper. Both of those options alleviate the issue, but do not fix it entirely.
Just for me or none of us have alarm app on custom roms?

Why would you even choose your ROM by the presence of an alarm-app? there are dozens of free-versions in the market (and even built-in).
I would choose a ROM by its stability and its hardware-support...
Not sure if this could be a possible eg22 bug. Recently I've been having this issue where my alarm don't sound in silent mode anymore. I would go into setting sound and select silent mode so that ringer would just vibrate. Right before I choose that option it clearly states that all sounds except media and alarms would be silent so I don't understand why the alarm is not sounding anymore. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue as well.

Yup, I have the same issue. You might want to check the EG22 bug thread though and see if it's mentioned in there.
Just experienced this today using the stock samsung clock app. Was using desk clock last week and it sounded but would not wake the screen, I had to go into notifications pulldown to access the alarm to disable it. So I switched to the standard clock app. Strangely this morning I had that smart alarm feature where it plays soft gentle sounds a few minutes before the actual alarm goes off, the smart alarm stuff played fine but then when actual alarm was to play it was silent.
I'm on EG22 with the EG22Plus Kernel and Maddoggin's 8 lock screen mod. Still RFS, otherwise stock.

Same issue on Bonsai B14 EG22. Did anyone find a fix? How about getting rid of the battery fully charged beep? One or the other...thanks.
I remember having this alarm/timer, and I think it was stock on 2.2 (not desk clock). The the alarm slowly ramped up before your actual time with chirping birds and flowing grass. Kind of like Gentle Alarm or Extreme Alarm.
It also had a stop watch and timer, I think.
Does anyone remember this app? Do you know I can get it? I thanks.

That's the one!
Alarm clock Plus in the market does this, I believe.

Just wanted to point out that the stock tw clock icon shows correct time and if you swipe around the drawer the second hand moves. That's pretty cool and not sure if anyone else noticed.

Unfortunately this only works on stock launcher.
Not really useful otherwise. The stock alarm clock is terrible too. You can't change the snooze duration, which you could do with the s4 and s5.
I use Timely for my alarm clock app now. Used to be a premium app until Google bought it and made it free.
