Not sure if this could be a possible eg22 bug. Recently I've been having this issue where my alarm don't sound in silent mode anymore. I would go into setting sound and select silent mode so that ringer would just vibrate. Right before I choose that option it clearly states that all sounds except media and alarms would be silent so I don't understand why the alarm is not sounding anymore. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue as well.

Yup, I have the same issue. You might want to check the EG22 bug thread though and see if it's mentioned in there.
Just experienced this today using the stock samsung clock app. Was using desk clock last week and it sounded but would not wake the screen, I had to go into notifications pulldown to access the alarm to disable it. So I switched to the standard clock app. Strangely this morning I had that smart alarm feature where it plays soft gentle sounds a few minutes before the actual alarm goes off, the smart alarm stuff played fine but then when actual alarm was to play it was silent.
I'm on EG22 with the EG22Plus Kernel and Maddoggin's 8 lock screen mod. Still RFS, otherwise stock.

Same issue on Bonsai B14 EG22. Did anyone find a fix? How about getting rid of the battery fully charged beep? One or the other...thanks.

It does look interesting though. We'd love to know what the hell it does.. OP, do you know or do you just want it because it looks cool?
i think its a widget to switch themes
Don't know what widget this is but "lydlos" is Dutch for silent. My guess is that it is some type of audio manager.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
its a widget for pre-set profiles, im guessing you set the rules for how you want the phone to behave, for example 100%ringer 25%media no vibrate or no ringer 100%media vibrate silent notifications and the widget just sets the profile
lol well at least we know it is probably a audio profile widget. not as cool anymore
Just a broad general thread about good alarm clocks apps as per thread title. I'm looking for an app that potentially could export my alarm mp3's out to external speakers to make it louder. I need something louder since I have to be at work at 4am.

Buy a mechanical alarm clock and put it into a big empty (8qt.or bigger) cooking pan.
works like a charm.
PS. I'm personally prefer Alarm Clock Plus.
Alarm Klock
it has a feature volume fade 0%-> 100% over 120 seconds
all configurable...
it is great not to have a loud sound right away
plus it has a snooze (+5 min incremental)
and a dismiss that is a "slide to dismiss" similar to apple unlock screen
I've been using "Alarm Clock Plus" for a couple years now as my primary alarm clock. I have yet to have an issue with it. Lots of features - and it will play an MP3 (at least through phone speaker and bluetooth - never tried the headphone jack). It's simple to use, has many features, and is supported by the developer.
That's my $.02
I love the stock alarm clock. Awesome basic features.

gentle alarm was free on amazon app store some time ago, that has fade in features as well as a pre alarm that is more quiet to try to wake you when you are not in deep sleep

This is the one I am using too. Works great and has a lot of features.
I have never tried it but I think Tunein Radio has an alarm clock function.

I've been looking for a good Alarm App, as MyFrankenstein does not seem to allow for different sounds other than the stock five.. Have always dug the Alarm in the ACE ROM's. I will give Gentle Alarm a shot. Thanks!!!

+1. Great app, worth they money
Alarm Clock Plus appears to be everything I was looking for.. Thanks for the feed back.. I really dig the many and different tones to choose from as well. Thanks you everyone. The olny thing extra I could ask for is a sliding disable like the ASOP lock screen, but I can certainly live with this one.
Alarm Clock Xtreme Free is what I'm using. You can customize just about every aspect of the alarm and snooze.
I have mine set to fade in an mp3 from 0-100% volume over 45 seconds, and I have to solve two math problems to dismiss. I turned off the snooze option.
This is my favorite and most useful app on my phone, period.

i used koeler clock its real nice , but after 6 months it has screen burn in now , so i dont recommend any nighttime desk type clock, as you may get screen burn in
Ewww.. Yuk! Thanks!!!
Installed UrbanFury ROM last night and the stock clock has a very nice alarm clock with the colored ASOP-like sliding disable. I likeee.
Please leave your feedback in this thread! We would love to hear from you and hear what you would like to see in srf 1.3! Whether it be bug fixes, or cool features or anything! Please leave us some feedback.
As always, no promises that every suggestion will be implemented. All will be considered though!
Thanks to flimsy888 for the suggestion.
If it allowed wireless to still work when in airplane mode that would be sweet!

Overscroll port? Lol if at all possible..... tv out through 3.5mm headset jack lmao I've been seeing that around for a while with no luck
Include NoMoarPowah app, or add the functionalities of the app to the rom?
I would like to see the voicemail issue (for some) addressed and SetCPU supported. I prefer that over Voltage Control, with the widget and profiles
It should come preloaded with the ACS Updater and should include the free sprint hotspot hack!
EDIT: Also bring back transparent notification pulldown!

ditto i was just going to ask for that!
Pretty much what I want is mentioned...
Hotspot hack
8lockscreen mod with options to tweak status bar too
Wifi on with airplane mode
go launcher ex as default
Smother animations
Miui font
Sg2 icons

That you all release Standard and Fully Loaded at the same time. (I'm a standard user now after getting tired of waiting for Fully loaded, ha ha. I grew impatient.)
Add wifi when in airplane mode
Integrate the ACS Updater
Fix the lock screens
Provide a kernel in this package
Add the hotspot hack
Add the Amazon App Store to the user apps
Remove the News and Forecast app, and put it in the Sprint apps.zip
Update the first post template to be current before you post the release thread! It's been copy/pasta since v1.0 and has outdated information. (related to CWM compatibility, SNS being in standard now, etc.)
heres another one. Replace the default Music Player with the MIUI one! its way better IMO!
& +1 on the MIUI font!
I'm voting to keep the pure black pull down - I think it looks really slick and I like it better
A stock clocked and stock volted kernel would be nice, with option to flash others.
Include the samsung clock package because I think many folks like the smart alarm and timer built in.

It doesn't work on my current install of 1.2. Odd some installs would have this feature working and many others wouldn't.

A +1 on this. I forgot about this bug on my install.
So are there no bugs from 1.2 that need to be fixed??

An undervolted kernel for longer battery life! For some reason when ever I restart my phone when it's at 30% or lower the battery drops to 3-1% and shuts down.
I remember having this alarm/timer, and I think it was stock on 2.2 (not desk clock). The the alarm slowly ramped up before your actual time with chirping birds and flowing grass. Kind of like Gentle Alarm or Extreme Alarm.
It also had a stop watch and timer, I think.
Does anyone remember this app? Do you know I can get it? I thanks.

hi guys, when I use a custom ringtone, the ring seems to be cascading. for example, it starts off quietly then randomly blasts the sound full volume. I haven't touched any settings and my ringtones are all standard .mp3 files cropped with ringdroid. when I use the pre-installed ringtones it doesn't do this but it vibrates first and then rings. any tips? thanks.
It's called ascending ringtone... normal stock galaxy behavior. Most custom roms disable it or have the option to disable it. I dont think there is a stock setting to turn it off though cant remember for sure and dint have time to check.

In order to rid yourself of this, the only solution I have found thus far is the app "Disable Increasing Ring."
