Hi,

Doe anyone have a work around for this? I really want to be on 3.1, but need needs VPN working. Thank you in advance.

Google Nexus One VPN problems

Hi, All
I have a VPN problem that is strange. Here goes:
I have my Nexus One two days ago. It's not rooted and no APK installed on it.
At that time, the VPN worked very well.
Then, I unlocked and rooted it. Then I flashed a Pandora Firmaware. The firmware is here.
://d.epis.me/Pandora%20N%201.1%20for%20nexus.zip
After that, the VPN didn't work. I must wait for a long time after I started to connect, and an error message came out like this: "Can not connect to the server". If I use a wrong password, the VPN will tell me the pssword is wrong. The same VPN server can be connected by same username and password on my laptop, but not Nexus One. It is very strange.
Then I restored the original shipping firmware. It didn't work too. The reply of the VPN is the same as above.
The server is uk.focusvpn.com, and VPN type is PTPP. Encryption type I selected encryped and not encrypted, it didn't work on both.
Now the VPN on my Nexus One is totally broken. Can any good guy help me?

oh well on focusvpn, u just need uncheck enable encryption , and save , reboot then it will work. if it still not work, u can try type 8.8.8.8 for dns address on vpn setting section..
i just noticed android doesn't support mppe encryption 2 days ago, so if there is any vpn need ppptd+mppe vertify then i won't work. that's all. u can try to diag by using ddms
Thank u very much. I just find the reason as you said. So I have no way to solve it unless google let android support it.
Are you looking to connect ?????
Are you looking to connect to your corporation or institution's VPN connection on your Google Nexus One mobile phone?

'Advanced IPSEC VPN' option on S2

Hi,
Is there any way to enable or hack in the advanced IPSEC VPN option on stock firmware for S2? I really need to be able to define Aggressive mode VPN in order to connect to PFSense but... even 2.3.4 Sammy firmware does not have it.
Also, did anyone ever manage to get OpenVPN running with stock 2.3.4 FW? I could never get it to work. Rooting, installation (via OpenVPN Installer) goes fine, then even connection can be established but routes to remote networks are not propagated.
Thanks!

I made a L2TP Connection which i use for my pc without any problem....
hello
I havent received any answer yet.....
VPN on Android 2.3.5 ARDH 6.1.5
I managed to get PPTP working on my android phone running 2.2
I used the stock VPN settings screen to do this.
1. Settings->Wireless and Network-> VPN Settings.
2. Add VPN
3. Add PPTP VPN
4. VPN Name - whatever
5. Set VPN server: (or whichever server you want to use)
6. Enable Encryption: UnCheck
Then save and you'll be brought back to the VPN settings screen. Select the newly created VPN entry, and you'll be prompted for your username and password. Be careful about typing your password in, its difficult with the onscreen keyboard.
Mine connects after that.
L2TP doesn't work for me though.

Connect to a WPA2 Enterprise WiFi

I am trying to connect to a WPA2 EAP access point on my Android TV (Philips) - Android 9
After some research, I found this repo on Github: https://github.com/nitantsoni/Enterprise-Wi-Fi
However, I still can't connect to AP. Getting status Disconnected/Scanning or Disconnected/Disconnected.
On my phone (Android 8) it's working. Using same credentials and settings.
My Access Point
EAP-method: PEAP - None
CA-certificate: Do Not Validate <--- can't find this option on the app. Could this be the issue?
Identity: ......
Password:......
Hope someone can help me out. Maybe other apps that could help me out?
Thanks in advance.
