I am trying to connect to a WPA2 EAP access point on my Android TV (Philips) - Android 9
After some research, I found this repo on Github: https://github.com/nitantsoni/Enterprise-Wi-Fi
However, I still can't connect to AP. Getting status Disconnected/Scanning or Disconnected/Disconnected.
On my phone (Android 8) it's working. Using same credentials and settings.
My Access Point
EAP-method: PEAP - None
CA-certificate: Do Not Validate <--- can't find this option on the app. Could this be the issue?
Identity: ......
Password:......
Hope someone can help me out. Maybe other apps that could help me out?
Thanks in advance.

I made a L2TP Connection which i use for my pc without any problem....
hello
I havent received any answer yet.....
VPN on Android 2.3.5 ARDH 6.1.5
I managed to get PPTP working on my android phone running 2.2
I used the stock VPN settings screen to do this.
1. Settings->Wireless and Network-> VPN Settings.
2. Add VPN
3. Add PPTP VPN
4. VPN Name - whatever
5. Set VPN server: (or whichever server you want to use)
6. Enable Encryption: UnCheck
Then save and you'll be brought back to the VPN settings screen. Select the newly created VPN entry, and you'll be prompted for your username and password. Be careful about typing your password in, its difficult with the onscreen keyboard.
Mine connects after that.
L2TP doesn't work for me though.

Hi,
I just update my Nexus S I9020A by reading this, after update my device connected to wifi but internet is not connect.
My Phone detail,
Model: Nexus S
Android Version: 4.0.4
Baseband Version : I9020AUCKJ1
Build Number: IMM76D
Plz need Help...
I suspect, this might be the unsupported setting on your router. Even I had a same problem, when I had updated my nexus s to 2.3.6. Try the below options
1. Try connect your phone to different wifi router / ADSL model. router / ADSL should be different vender from yours. if it connects then you need to change your router settings.
2. if the above option is not worked, then try with different router from any of your other friends.
3. or worth to try the below one as this option will not required other router, this will start work, if the problem is relay with router .
Try changing your router wifi setting as below
a. update Wireless channel to 4
b. Go to Security and select the below options
Security Mode as “WPA/WPA2-Personal(PSK)
Authentication as WPA-PSK
Encryption Technique as TKIP ( it is default )
Pre-Shared Key (PSK) — ” as your Secure password
c. Reset the router & try connect your phone to wifi.
Are you in the us or outside of the us?

Please try to reboot your router. If it not works, try to change a DNS server(I recommend Google Public DNS, IP address: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4, yes, they are real IP).

Thx, I just changed my router and now its really ok.
Problem with network.
After stock update to ICS 4.0.4, my Nexus S doesn't recognize my operator (Tim Brasil), so I don't have any signal.
The others operators are rightly displayed. Just mine is missing.
I'm outside US.
Any ideas?

I flashed my vodafone netlocked i9505 with the latest echoe ROM v5. While logging in to my DSL router at home works perfectly, it fails with the 802.1x EAP secured account at work. I do see that the radius server groks the authentication, then comes the DHCP request to get an IP address and that seems to fail as the the login is started again. So question now is how to debug this. Any hint would be appreciated.
Philipp
Could you try these methods here and let me know if they work? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37319334

I'm owner a Nook'a Simple Touch. It is rooted, registered, and has firmawe version 1.2.1. I would like to connect it with eduroam. I downloaded the certificates (different types: .crt, .pem, .der) but I have no idea how install them (re-launcher). In Settings => Wireless => Add other network, I was able to set the network name SSID, security system, a username and password. But it's not enough. Maybe someone would have any advice for me?
This solution for the Kindle (Maybe something similar can be done with Nook?)
google: amazon-kindle-and-eduroam
I think I was able to just use 802.1x without installing the certificate.

As in beta, you still can't connect to Wi-Fi in official Oxygen OS 10. Network reset did not help
OP 6T has no IP address.
Anyone have any ideas?
..
I had a Bet 10 v.17 phone also had no Wi-Fi connection.
After returning to Android 9, IP appeared again and there were no connection problems.
This is not an issue with Oxygen OS 10. It is a feature of Android 10 called mac randomize. Your mac will be changed randomly when you connect to wifi network. This is for security purpose. If you enabled mac filter in your router then while connecting to your wifi network in your mobile go to advanced options choose Use device mac under the privacy option.
Note: after you upgrade to Android 10 you device mac will be changed. Don't forget to updated your new mac in you router mac filter settings.

I have turned off all filters on the router.
I changed to MAC of device, to randomized MAC. Nothing new.
Still can't connect to Wi-Fi.
This is insane! New system and connection problems?
Instead of getting better, it's getting worse.
Bluetooth issues on my phone
I can't even enable wifi connection
Reflash the official update zip....worked for me
I have exactly the same issue.
After upgrading to Oxygen OS 10.0 on my OnePlus 6, connecting to my router with a password became impossible.
The only option is to connect via a guest connection, without a password (hardly a viable option).
All other devices connect properly.
Setting the MAC address to "device MAC" rather than "random MAC" does not solve the problem.
Resetting the phone's wireless settings does not solve the problem.
Factory resetting the smartphone (the only solution suggested by OnePlus support) has not solved the problem.
Resetting the router (Netgear Nighthawk RAX40) has not solved the problem.
SOLUTION !!!

I FOUND A SOLUTION !!!
The router had previous security: WPA2 (very secure).
Android 9 in OP 6T worked with them, but not Android 10.
I have reduced security to: WPA / WPA2 (secure).
Currently, Android 10 connects to a Wi-Fi network without a problem.
You should write the patch in Android 10.
Does this mean that everyone under Oxygen OS 10 should downgrade their Wi-Fi security in order to connect with it?
Is your OnePlus font italic?
Have you used Magisk Canary?

Haven't yet tried, but it seems to be a solution.. I couldn't understand, WHY it works with all other WiFis and doesn't work with my, but WPA2 looks like answer.
Has somebody reported this bug to OP?

Until yesterday, were I messed up with root/magisk, everything (including WPA2) was working well for me.
Now I can'T turn on WIFI anymore.
WPA/WPA2 helped for me... OP can't connect to only-WPA2 networks after Android 10 update.
Installed via OxygenUpdater, no root, no unlocked bootloader, full stock

many, many thanks!
I can still connect to my existing network, I just had to update my MAC filters.
I really advise against using WPA at all - see if there is firmware update for your router.
Are you using Magisk Canary?
Roll back to Stable and reinstall oos

I had the same issue, flashing a custom kernal (Omega) fixed the problem. Why ? Idk
change private DNS to automatic
changing my DNS from cloudflare to automatic helped me (after also switching to device MAC)

Did you flash the full zip or incremental? From TWRP? Is any wipe necessary after flashing?
