I'm using StarBurst Classic 1.5.0.0 and my phone is HTC Desire (rooted). I'm having problems with vpnc widget. It says that it doesn't have root privileges and after trying to connect to VPN server I get:
"couldn't open '/etc/cpnc/29.conf'. No such file or directory"
Before StarBurst I had Leedroid and it worked fine. What seems to be the problem? Thanks

Hi all,
For some reason I cant connect to both of my Wifi AP.
Both Wifi AP are using as security WPA/WPA2 PSK.
Whe I try to connect it will ask me for the key.
After entering the correct key, it's showing me "wifi connecting..." and than "disconnected". It keeps looping like this.
Anyone here using Wifi in "WPA/WPA2 PSK" mode, and able to access the AP?

did you turn off mac filter in your routers? your hd2 mac address have been changed to 11:22:33:44:55. this is the known problem (or not a problem) of all the android roms.

Yes.. I'm also using mac filtering on my AP.
After disabling it I did manage to get it to work

Hi, I have installed [BUILD][25.08.2010][mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.6b][Kernel: michyprima 2.6.32.9 #70] with last 3 update zImage and have the following problem:
1. If wifi work OK, the 3G connect will only work for browser, other app wont work.
2. If I use the update zImage, 3G work fine but wifi error
I have tried 2 days but cannot solve the problem, I want the 3G and wifi both work fine, what should I do?

after going to PRIMORDIAL! v3.1 rom from Prime.1.3.r2, my VPN stops working. I can establish using "VPN Connection" but when I try to RDP to any of my server at work it times out. If I downgrade and go back to Prime.1.3.r2 VPN works fine.
Doe anyone have a work around for this? I really want to be on 3.1, but need needs VPN working. Thank you in advance.

I installed vpnc from code.google.com/p/get-a-robot-vpnc.
I followed an howto (in german) for galaxy s (ip-phone-forum.de/showthread.php?t=222417&page=1) and tried to connect to my fritzbox 7390..
But I get an error when I want to connect to my vpn.
Error: application VPN Connections stopped unexpectedly.
The application requires tun.ko, which already is in the modules folder - al least with kyrillos 5.7.
As I'm unsure where to find the error I first wanted to ask if anybody ist using this app successfully - eventually with the patches provided in the mentioned howto.

First i would like to say "Thank you". You save me a lot of money for a new Android tablet. :good:
I have only one problem: if i would like to connect to my VPN server, NCP VPN (payed version) say "This device is not supported by this VPN client. Access to TUN/TAP interface failed. (Cannot create interface)". With other 4.1.2 ROMs it works fine. :crying:
VPNCilla has the same problem with TUN device. Btw. I use NativeSD version.

In ADB shell or Terminal Emulator, type lsmod to see the currently loaded modules. If you don't see tun.ko there, load it by insmod /system/lib/hw/modules/tun.ko
Swyped from HTC HD2 using xda premium
I see following modules:
bcm4329
tun
msm rmnet
I reinstalled the ROM into NAND and now all works fine. It is a NativeSD problem.
