I'm using t-mobile and I received a picture message and it came blurry. Had someone else send me one and it was the same thing. Also, when I press the power button on the side to wake the phone, it takes a second for it to wake. I've never had a phone that wasn't instant. Any ideas?

Anything at all?
I assume you mean T-Mobile UK. If it's T-Mobile U.S. than I'd imagine it could be because your using GRPS vs. 3/4G.

About the second wake issue. It will either go away, or wait for an update and it'll be fixed. It's a common issue that some devices have and some others don't.

You're barking up the wrong tree. The majority of folks here are outside the U.S. and the few of us that are in the U.S. are on AT&T. I remember from my T-Mobile days there's funky APN settings you probably have to enter. Check some of the custom ROM sections for T-Mobile Android phones and you should be able to get the APN settings there.

This is really a weird issue, I thought it was me only having this but relieved to know it's common. Should be fixed on next fw I guess.

Hey does anyone have any issues with the screen lock sounds?? Cuz when I turn it on its supposed to click when I lock and unlock my my screen.. and it doesn't.. can any of you try it out and let me know.. settings-sounds-screen lock sounds..
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
The screen lock sounds don't work for me either. I believe this is a bug affecting all G2s
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
i believe there are no sounds loaded onto the g2 for lock and unlock
I have the same issue............no sound. Great phone but a lot of bugs, hopefully an update really soon

No sound
I have no lock/unlock sound either. Thought it was just mine but now I see that, that is not the case. Hopefully update rolls around soon and fix these bugs that we are all finding. Gotta say I love this phone though.
If you look at /system/media/audio/ui the lock sound files are missing. Hopefully the OTA planned drops them lol

I believe you can create a folder at the root of your sd card called media/audio/ui and place the sounds inside there. Same goes for ringtones and notification sounds.

Alright I thought that was just me.. but I'm gonna try the sd card thing and see if that works.. actually that means we can add any tone for the unlock..

Don't want to sound like an ass but WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?
Granted, my device may be different but my sounds have worked since minute one. I did have to enable them first though.
I disabled audible touch tone and enabled screen lock and screen selection sounds and no problems...

It's a know bug by now, nobody has unlock sounds. How about haptic feedback when pressing on touch keys and long press on the screen? Seems to not work for me. Vibrates for everything else that it suppose to so not a hardware problem.
That works for me. I only have the vibrating lock screen issue
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Yeah everything works for me but the screen lock..
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Nevermind, it does work for me as well, just really soft... almost unnoticable, which is weird since vibrator is so strong in g2....
Has anyone noticed that when you have the phone in landscape mode and you have the keyboard out and you are typing you loose wifi signal? Then remove left hand and signal comes back? I will have to make a video when I get home and have a camera to do so. Anyone else?
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Just tried it and nope...My signal doesnt even change 1 bar.
Your holding it wrong lol
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
I tried this and I did lose one bar of wifi. I also tried with the keyboard closed by covering the top of the phone with my hand, and also lost a bar of wifi. But it was not a deathgrip issue where signal was instantly lost. Guess this just means the wifi antenna is on the top of the G2, and obstructing it has an effect.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Defiantly not holding it wrong...and not apply hardly any pressure. I didn't notice it at all at home...but at my in laws. Possibly not a very strong wifi signal but makes 100% difference when I have my hand over the top of the phone. I've had an email waiting to send and as soon as I removed my hand the email sent. Will post video hopefully tonight showing how little pressure is applied and how strongly the signal is affected.

I don't lose any bars from my wifi. That's odd though.

Hello every one. This bug has been present since my phone did its first boot. Apparently, when my keyboard retracts or disappears after I'm done typing, it leaves a big white block behind it for a few seconds. You can try using the Facebook app. Search up a name, but don't click on any one. Then hit the back/down key. (Software buttons). If you guys don't have any problems, what are your suggestions? I tried asking this on the "help" thread, but no one would answer me. Thanks!
Bump! Am I the only one with this!!?
It looks like this....
I have honestly never seen this
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Yea I get that, lasts for maybe half a second for me. How long is yours? I don't think I'd be able to take a screenshot of mine its too fast.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Mine lasts for 3 seconds at the most took me a while to finally take a picture of that white block lol.I just got lucky perhaps. Its odd this happens though.
Try updating to 4.2.2 if u haven't already? Or try a keyboard from the market and see if its still present on that?

Yup! already had the OTA update. Its still present. I also tried swiftkey 3. It didint fix it. I may have to end the keyboard process to reset it, but apperently I cant because its in use in the backround .
DO you think I just have to live with it then ?
This has been annoying me since I got the phone me home button tilts up and the right side of the button making it look all off and not straight is anyone else's like this?

Mine doesn't tilt but if I don't click it squarely in the middle it seems to get jammed. I've tried to ignore it and I very rarely use it choosing to use the back button instead. I know this is a widely reported issue with the Note 3 and I haven't looked into it as yet to see whether it's worth returning it for a replacement (I bought mice outright SIM free).

I've been playing with my note 3 for a couple of days now and I've noticed that my home button sometimes does not work. I can feel the physical click when I push the button, but the phone doesn't respond accordingly. So, I'll have to push again (and again).
Anyone else experiencing this?
I think I'll have to take it back for a replacement because it feels like a mechanical issue, not a software issue.

That's not normal. It sounds like a mechanical problem to me as well. I would bring it in for a replacement.
If anything goes wrong and you can't get it fixed or replace it you can use on screen buttons
Sent from my SPH-L710 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I don't like the quality of the home button at all. It floats around and often becomes very stiff to push. Compared to my N2 and my boss's s4 and it's definitely not up to par.
Having a business account and dealing with the reps in my local store I'm thinking about going for a replacement device(without any hassle)...Maybe I'll check it out on the display models first.
Anyone else notice this?
