i have flash my E15i to 2.1-update1, the Build number is 2.1.1.A.0.6.
My pphone's SI is 1242-4818. baseband is M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015.
but my phone can't work on GSM and 3G, only use the wifi.
i also have use Sony Ericsson PC Companion 2.0 to repair, but the result is the same.
after US my Custtomization Version is : 1241-5913_R4B.

Im using 2.1 with latest update, i have same problem. Try to add data traffic widget at desktop, turn it on and off, and open browser. I solved my problm using that method and it worked

i have tested， not sucess through this methed。
Maybe is problem with your SIM Card. Icons in notification bar say that there is wrong SIM Card inserted or that there isn't SIM Card
in this picture saved i have not insert sim card, but i have test several telcom sim card, the result is same can not found signal.

A Hermes should have it, though the visible name depends on the SIM card used. Look for \Windows\STK_UIPPC.exe (you may need to turn on showing all and ROM files in your file explorer).
Thanks for the link Mike though I had already seen that thread and tried the files contained but no joy.
When I run STK.exe I get this message
'Your Sim Card has no application installed'
I did not have all the files on in my Windows folder. I did not have STK.exe. I also did not installed the extended rom... restarted the device straight after the ROM was updated. Is this the reason why?
I'm actually after it in order to see if I can use it to switch between Line1 and Line2 on my 64k sim. I've seen other threads about dual sim and people using Sim Tool Kit to switch between them.
You've answered yourself: your SIM card has no an STK application installed. So stop looking for a WM5 stuff, and, if you need an STK functions of your SIM, contact your operator for a SIM exchange.
Not every SIM card has an STK on it.

Thanks. I did find STK_UIPPC.exe but the Orange sim just gives a couple basic functions (i.e calling the operator), nothing for Line switching.

Android 2.2
firmware 1.83.415.2
Baseband 12.28e.60.140fu_26.04.02.17_M2
My problem goes like this, if I turn mobile internet off and then turn it on again it doesn't work it shows H icon and then disappears and then shows failed in the settings. To have it work, I have to turn off the mobile, remove the sim card, insert the sim card again and start the phone.
Any idea ?

I would start by getting a new simcard from your carrier, hopefully they'll replace it for free

Mobile network not available error!
I use original rom, i did not change anything on the phone...
For last 2 days, after i turn on phone, it says emergancy calls only and i cant receive or send any messages or calls...

I had this problem with the official rom Beta2, and I installed a miui rom and I got rid of that elhamdulillah...

My Vodafone sim card works on another phones when i put into them and another sim cards work on my phone; but my Vodafone sim card dont work with myHuawei u8800 no more ! This started 2 days ago.
Vodafone cant explain that, they told me to change sim card.
I can see my imei number, my phone number, signal (-76 dbm) but it can connect to network.
"Selected netwrodk (VOdafone TR 'G) unavailable"
gives that error.
Please help..
I had the same problem. You just need to go to settings>wireless and networks>Mobile networks(the last one) and then network operator(the last one).
Wait for a while and then everything should go.
AFter that i choose Vodafone 2g but it says unable to connect
That's very weird. Did you have an error when you tried to get infos on the phone?

Hello , my i9505 doesnt see any network , it sees the sim card i put in the pin of the card but when it has to register on network nothing happens , also i tried to search for networks but doesnt see any network.
First i thought its sim locket but it cannot be because it recognises the sim card , after that i downloaded galaxsim unlock and when i open the aplication it says " Cannot read nv data "
A little help would be apreciated , thank you .

Custom ROM,recovery,root?
I have stock rom , but i rooted it for galaxsim unlock aplication , this problem is not because its rooted , its because something is wrong with the nv data .

When using my Amaysim branded sim card on stock OS on my L3 it will show up correctly as Amaysim as my carrier.
but when I use a custom rom, any custom rom I've tried it will show up as Yes Optus which is the reseller/owner of the physical cellular network.
For some reason even though it doesn't show as Amaysim I can still send receive phone calls and text, but I can't add APN settings as it will not save and they're are no Default apn settings either.
This same sim card will work with proper settings and carrier on the same phone in Stock Os. This same phone data will work with custom roms if I use a different sim such as a Telstra one. Apns can be changed and there are defaults when I use the telstra sim card.
very unusual problem on this phone.
