Can higher pixel-density harm my panel? - Acer Iconia A500

I have seen an app that can change density of the pixels on the screen. Can it be harmful to the screen to raise the standard value of the density?

Galaxy S Settings - Color Tuning

I've been running JT1134/TeamHacksungs' ICS build 3. While running spectacularly, I've noticed the screen has a greenish hue. Was wondering if anyone has found optimal settings to use for RGB color tuning that closely matches the 230,230,270 RGB optimum nexus default tweaked through Voodoo Control. I just want blacks to look deep black, whites to look bright, and there be no prominent color hue. Anyone able to assist?

Change lowest possible brightness level

Even on the lowest setting the screen is brighter than I would like. Is there a way to change the lowest possible brightness setting?

rootdim is also an alternative
I'm assuming that this won't extend battery life?
You can also use night mode app.. It's simple and easy to use..

Open it in root explorer/solid explorer and edit the LCD density line.

I use ROM toolbox lite. It requires root (duh), reboot afterward. Some Roms will allow per-app DPI changes.
Reboot after change. After changing/updating a ROM you will need to change the DPI again.
I recommend visiting Reddit.com/r/nexus4 for better info (good info gets voted up, bad info gets voted down)

Thanks. I changed it to 320 which was enough to downsize the ui.

Resolution not being correct ??

Hello guys I was trying out an app " themer beta " from play store ,and apparently my screen resolution isn't compatible .App has an option were it tells you your screen resolution and its incorrect , I don't know if its the app itself not reading it correctly or idk ???
Sent from my LG-VS980 using xda app-developers app
It's correct because the softkeys take the remaining resolution

Yup. DPI is 480 stock.
Tip. Try 400 DPI using TexDroider app.

thought i'd give themer a try today. with changing the dpi to 400 i still have a resolution reported by themer as 1822x1080. so still cant search for themes. it seems in order to get back to 1920 that themer wants you to have i would have to put the dpi somewhere in the 200's. not doing that. heh. at 480 stock dpi the reported resolution was at 1802x1080.
What liti said is correct. Only by hiding the navbar you can get the full resolution. Changing the dpi makes the navbar smaller hence the reason you get a higher resolution.
