I'm on DJ_Steve's 1.9 and I set the setting for US160, but the market and apps still think it is a UK phone. Any way to tell it I'm in America?

Switch language from english uk to english us under keyboard settings.

i have my hd2 tmo set up in english but its will only let me set to a specific amount of locations. like uk and ireland etc etc.... anyone know how i can get that location set to the usa

Does anyone got Google Maps update to 5.x on Legend. Just wonder if I'm restricted to version 4 due to region or HTC rom...
N.B. I don't see Google maps at the Market so can't update manually.

It's the country you live in, not the device. I live in Bulgaria and Maps updates are not available to me for download from the Market. Yet, when I put a UK sim card in the same device, it works just fine and I have downloaded the latest 5.something update.
I suspected that... and you know why frustrated? Users of latest devices (e.g. Desire S) got it - same country and operator, so it seems like somebody just doesn't care to enable it... for Legend

But first you need to have root
I think he can use temproot(VISIONary r13) + MarketEnabler.
Until recently here in Croatia we were stuck with v4.5 which forced me to install v5.1 for a downloaded .apk Imagine my surprise when the 5.5 update went live for download on the market

I would feedback to you guys that the newest Market app 3.1.5 has FC problem and can not be able to operate on my Atrix running CM7 rom. But just by downgrading it to the old Froyo version 2.3.6, it runs normally. My issue is that when I launch it (the old Market) once, it automatically will be upgraded to the new version with FC problem turns back again.
How can I do now, please. Anyone here also having this problem as mine?

Yes, I am having the same problem! Only reason why I am unable to use CM7 until I find a solution.

App drawer -> Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Choose language
POLARIS441 You are the best man!! LOL I have been trying to figure out how to stop the f'n force closes on market, it was the only thing stopping me from staying with CM7. Now that it's fixed, I could kiss ya (if u were a girl ) you just made my day!

so i have problem, is there any way to fix manual network search? this was driving me crazy since i flashed mur4iks cm7.1. i think i need some kind of code, am i right? i live on border of two countries so due to that problem it automatic changes network to the one from other country srry for bad english, greetings

ANyone in China know how to fix this?
Same in France, it looks like hotword is only available in english - us language, if you can handle with speaking to your phone in English, set voice input language to english us and it should work.

I don't have this problem yet as I am still on 4.3 but have you tried with a VPN ? (with an IP located in US).
Google now problem
When i updated my nexus 4 on android 4.4 i can't setup google now. When i go to location settings i recieve this message: Google now is not supported in your country? I live in Macedonia and on android 4.3 google now worked like a charm
