Friend stream not working

My friend stream is not working since last week. I am using an unbranded version of Legend in Saudi Arabia. Does anyone is having the same problem in their Legens.

I assume you have added your Twitter account to Friend Stream? Remove it - it causes Friend Stream to stall. You can clear the cache for the Facebook, and Friend Stream apps Settings > Applications > Manage Applications.

Thank you for your reply. I did not add a twitter accont yet. I just tried the solution that you suggested, but it did not work.
One more thing, my phone is not rooted.
Widget does not show any updates and when i open the friendstream app it force closes. Dont know what is going on.

Google maps

I am using Android 2.2 (Desire) on my HD2.
Can anyone please tell me how I cam install Google Maps & Google Talk on my phone?
I cannot find any of the 2 in the Market.

I would have expected that your Android build came preloaded with these two apps. Which ROM are you on? You could do either a search on the forum or via Google and find the Google Maps apk and Google Talk apk and load them onto your phone to install and activate.

I tried to search them in the market, but cannot find them by the Market app installed on my phone.

Look in a CyanogenMod ROM thread for a link to gApps, it should have them in it. I wish the tapatalk app had a link feature, I'd look around for ya n post a link

Google Music Beta for Android Help

I just received an invite 4 Google Music Beta. I live in India. I was able to do the download in my PC. But I'm not able to get it installed and linked to my Google account in android.
The problem is
1) the region I'm in is outside US ie India.
2) Market Enabler doesn't work for my handset bcoz its not rooted. Is there any Enabler for non rooted devices.
3) I installed the Google music.apk from a site but was not able to link the Google music to my account. How can I do that.
Please help!

I guess the only way is purchasing USA's SIM-card(prepaid for example), moving to America, or rooting phone. I tried also sign up to music beta, but because I life in Finland, I can't get it...

Conversley just follow the instructions here which should work just fine, but Google music is flawed in that it doesn't support OGG so I have uploaded my entire .mp3 collection of 25 tracks!

Ghostofcain, I guess that link is for rooted user. Do u know a way to get it installed for non rooted devices.

You can use hidemyass.com proxy and send urself a invite from Google music website. I can't send as an individual as Google are the ones sending it.

I don't have an unrooted device to test on but I would be surprised if the googlemusic.apk provided doesn't install as per the official one, and the rest involves using vpn's which I did from my pc not the phone

I can install the .apk but its not getting linked to my Google account. How do I do the linking ? And the .apk URL doesn't work can u give any other link.

[Q] Google+ for Legend

Hi All
Does anyone got Google+ on your Legends? Since I don't see it at Android Market and wonder is it device or country/operator restriction...

I have it, and I've reinstalled it while in three different countries. Vietnam's, Japan's, and Canada's Android Markets all have it.
If you have root, use MarketEnabler (from the Market) to fake an American carrier and download the app.
Otherwise look in the General forums for an .apk. ;-)

Thanks everybody but I really wonder why on earth its restricted from the Market and who is the guy (in Google or operator) who suppose to click "magic button"?
It sounds absolutely ridiculous since I can use it through browser but not native Google app from Android phone.

I downloaded Google+ when I was in Singapore though. The Market in SG seems to carry this. Can't find it while I tried to search on the MY Market.

[Q] US marketplace in other countries

Is the any way to get acces to apps in us marketplace in other countries? I'm from poland, market place is enabled in my country, but i don't have all apps available in for ex. us marketplace. I care about official last.fm and flickr apps ;/
