I would feedback to you guys that the newest Market app 3.1.5 has FC problem and can not be able to operate on my Atrix running CM7 rom. But just by downgrading it to the old Froyo version 2.3.6, it runs normally. My issue is that when I launch it (the old Market) once, it automatically will be upgraded to the new version with FC problem turns back again.
How can I do now, please. Anyone here also having this problem as mine?

Yes, I am having the same problem! Only reason why I am unable to use CM7 until I find a solution.

App drawer -> Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> Choose language
POLARIS441 You are the best man!! LOL I have been trying to figure out how to stop the f'n force closes on market, it was the only thing stopping me from staying with CM7. Now that it's fixed, I could kiss ya (if u were a girl ) you just made my day!

Go to settings, applications, then find market and uninstall the update..
things should start working fine...
Had the same problem.. this solved it.. later market updates again but this time it works fine...

thank god, thought it was just me who had the problem!
Uninstalling the updates did fix, but now its just a stock 1.6 market.
Hope it updates itself soon!

You could just have had a look at the_ahmadzais profile, he's started at least 6 threads across xda about it.
it took a few days for mine to update again afterwards but it just did it silently in the background with no prompting and now it works fine.

Really? I must be really doing something wrong. Whenever I go to open a menu in the app, it reboots my phone. Even if it is the extras menu. I can't do anything with it
There was an update jrummy released a little while back that fixed that problem. Check the market and see if you have an update maybe? Hope this helps

I've been using Setcpu and everything appears to be working normal.
QuickClock Advanced works pretty well on GB
This method was tested on a Rooted Thunderbolt running stock rom. Original post was from myTouch 4G. I played Fruit Ninja HD and Plants vs Zombies HD without a problem. May not work on all games.
Install:
Go to the Market and download "[ROOT] ChainFire 3D". You can use the Free version, or just go ahead and chalk up the $4 for the paid version.
Download the Nividia Lib from HERE. Put on /sdcard/
Install CF3D Driver by clicking Install/upgrade/ uninstall CF3D driver.
Then Set the CF3D as the Driver. It will run a script and reboot.
Open Chainfire3D:
Install Plugin
(will search your /sdcard/ and show
Install Plugin
libGLEMU_NVIDIA.zip
Click the Nivida Plug-in. It will install it. When you see plug-in install complete. Press back button, and select
Default OpenGL Settings.
Click: Use plugin. Select Nvidia. Exit !

Option 1: Buy the pro version of Chainfire 3D and use the fix market option in the app

might have to try and find this unlocked Market.
It doesn't seem to show up on BAMF right now for some reason. I will PM them and find out if they would know why. I will let you guys know when I hear back
Hey all i was trying to update the youtube app on Erick ewjet roms and i though maybe that flashing the google apps would do the trick but it obviously didn't infact it made me loose all my gapps like market gmail and all that so can someone provide me the link for gapps for 2.1 roms thanks in advance.

Its just because right now i have a good battery life and im afraid it get worse its like just what i needed its perfect lol and it doesn't solve my problem whit old ugly youtube app so if i reflash google apps it would auto update and won't have to reflash :/

If you want the newest YouTube app you have to be on 2.2+. I think there is a apk floating around but the last time I tried it I was getting FC issues when logging in. Maybe try searching the general section of Android games and apps to see if it has been fixed.

@Shahkam - what version of youtube are you using? Is it v2.1.6 or v1.6.20? If you are on v2.1.6 are you having FC issues on 2.1 when signing in?

For few days now I'm unable to access Books in Android MArket on my GTab.
Every single time I'm tapping on the Books Tab it forcecloses.
Ive factory re-set my tab still the same, rooted and installed different rom... Same

Stock. 1.0.28 i've downloaded the 3.1.5 and uninstalled the stock but it doesn't show movies tab which I'm not bothered about. But would prefer stock as its cleaner...

try pushing a fresh apk of the market because of the recent flashing of a new ROM, something could've gotten messed up.
Like i've said earlier. Problem occurred before rooting on stock tab. I've rooted just to check if new rom would fix it. Also market from android market has the same problem and its on lower version 1.0.16 I think...

I am in the UK using the recent KH3 firmware, and I also have the issue when trying to access books.
I think I'll need to go to one of the shops place a random google account on shop display and check out the market... It could be something related to UK tablets
