If you have a HD2 running WP7 then yes you can run Android from SD card. If you have a native WP 7 HTC device it seems like the ability to run Android on WP7 is coming or has just not been officially released yet.
Well I wanted to link it for you to check out. But cause I was stupid and did not keep up with it I can not find it in the XDA Portal now. But not too very long ago there was a article in the XDA Portal about A video showing a HTC HD7 (I think) running Android. The video did not divulge if it was from Micro SD card or from NAND but it was a video I promise. For the bleeping life of me I can not find it in the Portal.
Ok I found it on YouTube for you here.

Ok so Cotulla has released a couple of .nbh files. Does anyone know how I would use these to boot from nand?

They are for the devs to test not for the public to use...
Let's wait to hear from him first. He's been quiet for a while now.

Its on his website but nothing else, I think the loader is kinda useless to non devs without a build to boot from nand, but great news and work by cotulla

Million thanks to costulla
Yeh don't go messing around until there are instructions on how to use this new bootloader and the right nbh unless you might end up pricking the device from what I can gather seems like it runs over the native bootloader? Can't wait for nand

hmmm.. Congrats on the phone. But surely you arent dumb enough nit ti figure out about the ROMs... considering you are a long time member. What are you after? HTC sense ui, latest wm6.5 ui or both ?
After both just seen that there is a Tom called toshdriod I'm mostly used to Android when it boots into Android does the USB and memory card had problems with previous dual boot and is there way way to choose os from boot

Can you play good games on hd2 without lag?especially those on a t-mo version?like for example can u play fast five by gameloft smoothly? thanks and gave u all +1

A completely theoretical question....

Is it possible to run a whole new OS (in this case I was thinking WP7 Mango Beta) on our phones. It would be like a port over. I'm not talking about a Metro UI, I'm talking about the real OS. The reason why I ask this is because I'm getting really bored with my phone. I think it would be cool dualbooting a whole new OS.
So, is it possible?
I know on the HD2 it is possible. A phone that originally only supported windows 6.5 now has native android, windows 7, meego and ubuntu. So it is not a far stretch of imagination to say that it is possible on the mt4g. Will it be done? I highly doubt it, but hey, who knows. Maybe you can be the first to do it.

Well I would have to say that since there are licensing issues with any version of windows that this is unlikely... As it would then be a pirated copy of the OS!

The hd2 is what brought this to my attention. I had another question, how is hd2 able to run windows phone 7 without pirating issues?

The hd2 was originally a windows phone. It can be used with android because some people were really determined and put in some hard work to make it work on that phone.

Good question! To which my only logical answer is... By law it shouldn't be able too unless there was a leaked test Rom or something. But it was a windows phone to begin with, so maybe less of a priority because of that... The reason the hd2 can run android is cause it is an open source product much like Linux and can be put on anything

If you want until windows 8 comes out, there might be some people working on it. Windows 8 will have ARM support which will make it easier to get working, but would still need drivers for certain functions.

I see....so it, in all technicality, it is possible to get WP7 on our phones, but because of legal issues and hardware compatibility problems, nobody bothers to attempt it?

No one will do it because it's illegal, the devs would get a cease and desist order if they even attempt to put it on other phones....It may be possible but the lack of drivers would make it a no go, I don't think drivers would need to be ported from other phones from htc using mango already.

Android and windows 7

Does anyone know if you can have Windows 7 and Android files on the HTC HD2 at the same time so you can switch which OS you use?

A dual boot has been possible for months.. You gotta search before you make a new thread dude..
I dont want to be rude or anything.. But there is so many people on xda that doesn't search at all.. and makes a bunch of new threads.. annoying

Make sure you have a backup SD. Windows phone 7 formats it like it is internal memory.
