Cannot Unlock CID on KJam

Hi guys.
I tried unlocking the CID with Lokiwiz0.2b but keep getting the error249 invalid vendor ID problem.
I updated my KJam with the latest iMate ROM thinking it had A2DP, but found it doesn't. I now want to flash the Qtek test WWE ROM which does. BUT after running Lokiwiz and selecting option C and then trying to update the ROM I keep getting the message.
I have tried unbundling Lokiwiz again in case it was a problem there, but no joy.
Any ideas anyone? or has it anything to do with the new ROM that maybe Lokiwiz can't address yet?

Your solution is to downgrade to the previous kjam rom, then cid unlock, then flash the Qtek rom.
Just run the K-JAM_WWE_1010903_106_10110_ship.exe upgrader to err downgrade. ;-)

Tried doing that but I can't downgrade. The RUU says says I must get an up to date version. I recall when I loaded the new ROM it said I can't go backwards afterwards.
Does anyone know how can I do that?

don't know if this would work but have you tried bootloader mode?

mine its 2.16.0001 , can anyone help me? iv already search and see many threads about this but with no result for me =\ i think first i have to unlock the CID then update the rom... but still no result =\

Hi i see yours is G4.
the way i CID Unlocked my wizard to install WM6.5 is:
I Downloaded SoftSPL ( it Temp removes the lock )

So after you downloaded that unZip it and inside there will be 2 CAB files.
move the CABs to your phone:
Cert_SPCS.cab )install on Phone 1st(
EnableRapi.cab )install on phone 2nd(

After you have installed them
Move The Rom you want to install into the SoftSPL Folder And Rename the ROM
nk.nbf
Then make sure the Phone is connected to Pc via Cradle/Cable
Then Just Run START-sSPL.exe (inside SoftSPL folder on pc)
tick and next on the screens that come up and then you mobile screen goes White (Dont Worry) then it will load rom you will have a bar on Desktop that loads to 100% .. just Let it finish then mobile reboots and you should be fully loaded with your copy of WM6

I think I turned my phone into a brick casue im a newb

Yup, I tried to do that whole windows mobile 6 deal, and at 99% it sat for awhile and then my computer said there was an error or something, and my phone won't get past the bootloader screen with the three colors, I've read stuff saying to flash a rom to it, but im not sure how to do that, I downloaded the button rom, and when i try to run it it says it cant run because it cant find RAPI.dll.
So yeah, if anyone could help that would be sweet.

restart it...hook in the usb...reflash the original rom that came with the phone...smile lol

I am definitely a newby, where can i get an updated aku2 after downgrading. Originally my spl and ipl was a 2.25 downgraded to a 1.xx something. Now where can i download the latest spl and ipl. I have a cingular 8125 from Cingular, will it matter what spl and ipl i use on it?
Need help real bad...

You dont have activesync reinstall activesync and run the rom which you got from the company.

thanks all, after a few hours a few night ago I finaly got Windows Mobile 6 working. The first few times that I tried to flash the button rom it wouldn't work and said somthign about missing ravi.dll, but i finaly got it to work, used the lokiwiz program to unlock it, re flashed the button rom, flasshed the t-mobile rom, then finaly flasehd a windows 6 rom. Only bad thing is I lost all of my phone numbers becasue I had them on my outlook and when I tried using the shell tool aplication, it tottaly crasehd my computer and I had to re-load windows, but then i sat down and took the time to read how to flash a new rom to my phone properly, what bootloader is and a bunch of other fun stuff.

Different Problem - Bricked P3300, while upgrading from Chinese to English

Hey all,
I am sorry posting the repeated question again, but this has a bit of a twist, and to this, i searched and didnt find any answer around.
My friends just bought a HTC P3300 from China. It came with a chinese DOPOD rom.
I had the original Shipped htc rom with me there so i upgraded my 1st friends mobile, with the shipped rom successfully, and then upgraded it to wm6 successfully.
now when i flashed my 2nd friend's device with the HTC Shipped rom, the upgrade process went to 3% and then the device just restarted and got stuck on the Initial dopod boot screen.
It is not moving from there.
So i downladed a couple of other roms, including the DOPOD ship rom,. but when i try to upgrade it, it says " ERROR:200, The Upgrade Software is outdated" kinda message!
now can someone please guide me how can i bring alive my friends rom, what is it i should do to successfully install some rom in it in English.

Did you cid unlock the hone either with USPL or IMEIcheck? If so, you should be able to load an OEM rom back on the phone. Try the HTC WWE WM5 rom or the German WM6...I dont see any reason why an unlocked phone wont accept at least one of those.

No, i dont know if it was cid unlocked or not.
About USPL or IMEICHECK, nothign was done on it.
As i mentioned, one phone got flashed successfully, but the other failed!
I have tried the HTC WWE WM5 shipped rom, if thats what u are hinting to, but not the German WM6.

I have a crazy idea...
My phone is not bricked, but I was able to try running the USPL ROM Update utility on my phone from bootloader. I have zero idea if this would unbrick your phone, but its worth a shot - cant get much worse (or can it?). Download the USPL file, and run just the rom update utility with your phone in bootloader. After it resets your phone, put it back into bootloader and try reinstalling an OEM rom. I am probably wasting your time, but its worth a shot....

you need original rom for your device (with correct model id).
this should flash your device.
in the future, install uspl on your device before upgrading rom.

Good Idea but ... not correct!
Your device might be CID locked and you were able to run USPL from bootloader, because ... you already have had USPL. Am I right?

Problem flashing

I have an unlocked Orbit with Wm6 on it and trying some of the modded roms and always goes to about 3% and fails saying error 270
any ideas pls guys
have even tried flash via SD card

I'm having the same problem.
Just got my XDA back from screen repair, previously I had it flashed with B&B v4.1.
I put in back to the O2 rom before sending it off for repair.
Now it's back when ever I attempt to reflash the B&B Rom it refuses to accept the update and bomb's out @ 3% with the same error as this guy.
The phone is sim free, (it's got a vodafone sim in it at the mo) and I have run the uspl unlock, but no joy i've tried various ROM's and they all fail at the same point?
Any body got any thoughts?

Same Here , and im running vista (Tinyvista)

hmm yeah I am running vista, I do have access to a Windows XP machine do you think the problem is vista related?
However I did manage to flash the same phone before using vista to get the B&B v4.1 Rom on it before the screen packed in?
After a bit more too and fro'in, managed to flash my phone with the 02 WWE v2.1 Premium rom (with touch flow) using vista, however I noticed that the boot loader for this rom appeared to be a different one to the B&B roms (WWE little linux pengiun on screen, B&B Rom, colored bars on screen).
So at least I'm not on the standard O2 Rom any more, but still puzzeled as to why I can't flash the B&B Roms no more?

Rom Update Problem

Hi, i have a HTCP6500 this arrived on my desk as a dutch version, and as im no good at dutch i thought i would try and upload an english rom to this.
I used oilpro's unlocking tool (the one you have to pay for) and it sim/cid unlocked the unit, i then tried to upload the stock english rom off the website, and i keep getting
ERROR [270] UPDATE IMAGE CORRUPT
noe the phone is stuck in bootloader mode i presume (the screen with red,green,blue,white displayed?
any ideas please

get a dutch rom and try flashing that..
should get you out of bootloader..
tell how you got on...

install the hard spl from sticky in this forum...
then you will be able to flash any ROM
I think what you installed from olipro was just sim / cid unlocker...
im not sure if it is hardspl
