Issues with data - Focus General

Hey everyone,
I'm having issues with data on my Samsung Focus.
At random times, which looks to be during high data usage, my data connection is lost. The only way to restore data is to reset the phone.
I tried going to airplane mode and back, did not help. Tried turing off data and back on, same thing.
Why am i loosing data connection? Im on Rogers/Fido network (Canada), with an AT&T Samsung Focus. I also have the chevron unlock.
I've also had this issue pre-Nodo and with Nodo.
Anyone else have this issue?

Help with Hero losing signal

Hello everyone.
Recently, my hero has been randomly loosing signal to my network provider. It seems that if I use the phone, it never looses any signal, but when I unlock the phone after a while, I see that it has no service. If from there I put the phone in airplane mode for a few seconds, and then turn airplane mode off, it generally catches the signal again. Also, if I scan for networks manually, I can see all the networks in my area, but I receive a message saying that my SIM card does not allow this connection.
Also, this has happened throughout a number of ROM's and Radio's, so it cannot be ROM specific.
Has anybody else got any tips or ideas as to why my signal is dropping? I can also post my logcat later today if it will help.

Thanks for the support guys. It turns out that my SIM card was actually kicking the bucket, and so I went into Virgin Mobile, and they replaced it in 5 minutes. So far, no problems...so it seems sorted.

3G connection issues

I'm having random 3G connection issues on my Samsung Focus.
At radndom times 3G connection is lost and the only way to get it working is to turn off and on the phone.
I tried putting the phone into airplane mode, turn off/on data, turn 3G off/on, nothing works, only a reboot works.
Today I checked my email on my phone and it says;
Last updated 4 hours ago
We're having a problem connection to exchange.xxx.com. Try again later.
Last tried 2 seconds ago
Error code: 80072FA8
This error shows up on all 3 emails I have setup.
IE doesn't work, Zune, any app requiring 3G connection.
And this happens at random times, at least once a day.
The phone has the lastest updates and is jailbroken.
One other thing to mention is, the phone is now having the 3G connection issue but i have it theathering to my computer and the internet connection is working while theathered, cause i'm posting this email.
I have no idea what's happening or how to fix it.

Mine is unlocked AT&T Focus, when I'm using indosat (IM3) carrier, I'm having this issue. I downloaded Network Profile from Samsung Zone. After reboot the device, the network profile still pick AT&T, and I can't change it to my carrier.
Then I tried change my carrier to 3, after reboot the phone, the network profile changed to 3 INA. And after that I haven't got that issue till now.
Not sure what caused this. But when I looked at the registry there's a bunch of duplicated APN settings.
I had a similar issue, Focus AT&T on EU network.
Chevron unlocked and enabled the 3G toggle.
From time to time, I couldn't download from Marketplace or use the 3G connection. That was before I updated to NoDo. I haven't experienced this again since I updated.
To fix that, I used to toggle 3G off and on again after 15-30 seconds.
Sometimes, even that didn't work and I had to leave 3G off. Any lower data connection was working while 3G wasn't.
Speaking of data connection, not everyone is aware that after updating to NoDo, HSUPA is disabled on AT&T.
I'm having the same issue.
I´m using an unlocked at&t samsung focus at my local carrier.
I have this issue a few times a day, and the only way to restore my internet connection is rebooting.
I have noticed that this happens when my phone changes to Edge and goes back to 3G again. The issue doesn't seems to happen every time, but sometimes I lost connection.

I was having the same issue, being unable to connect to 3G. Just go the first page after Googling: set att apn. AT&T users should put in the APN, username and password. Hope it helps! It worked for me. =D

[Q] cellular data

my u8800 will not access the cellular data network. wifi works fine. i looked in settings to insure cellular data enabled. also did a factory reset. no success. i haven't found reference to this problem looking at other posts or other searches on line so am wondering if just a mechanical defect of some sort in the handset. has anyone else experienced this problem?

Galaxy Note: loss of data signal, help!

I bought my new Note in June. It's great, but I have a little problem. In my school, I carry the Note in my pocket. INSIDE the school, I don't have signal of any sort (data signal/for calls/for SMS), and my friends have the same problem. But the last week I have this problem: when I left the school, I recived again the data and mobile signal. But now, when I go out, I only recive data signal. Putting on Airplane mod/turning off and on data signal does not works. It loses the signal. I have to restart the phone and THEN I see the H+ icon with the two arrows. Outside of the school I HAVE data signal, because when I restart the Note, it comes again! Please I need help, I don't want to keep restarting my phone every time I left the school!!!

Similar issue happens at home but I have an at&t microcell and attribute losing data to that. I only notice that I lose 3g data when I try to send an mms and I get an error that says 'will try sending sms when data returns'. I just put the phone in airplane mode and then turn airplane mode back off. That seems to fix it. There was a thread a while back that mentioned a tip on disabling fast lock or fast wake something in the mobile network settings for at&t. The poster said it was enabled by default and that it did no good to our phones other than to make them slower connecting to at&t 3g. I hope someone remembers that thread.

Do you know a solution for International version? Entering in Airplane mode or turning off data does not works.

[Q] Problem/Issue. Mobile network (3G) data connection drops. Why?

I have a problem with my Galaxy s6 Edge Plus (G928M - Brazil)
When browsing the web with only mobile data turned on, wether using edge/3g/lte, the mobile loses connection .
I still have connection visible in the status bar, but wepages stop recieving data and it just stays hanging, with the loading bar at the same place. It can be fine for 3-4 minutes and then start to act up again.
One sollution is to toggle data connection on/off, then it will work again, but only for a couple of minutes. Even this metode sometimes doesnt solve the problem. My phone is unrooted. I have tried factory reset. Tried to root with arter97 (the problem persists) .I have tried using the different settings in mobile data; just gsm, just wcdma and wcdma/gsm- automatic etc. The signal strenght is good.
I used my simcard in another phone and don't face the problem. I used another simCard in my phone and the problem remais. So, The problem is in the phone, unfortunatelly.
Do anyone have the same problem, know of a cause for this, or have possible a sollution? Please share
