are there any devs out here working on a stock build of Android 2.2 for the Epic 4G?
There's a stock froyo here already. You can flash it with odin.
Or do you mean ASOP?

@dangdang....kinda new here not sure what ASOP is...
@mysteryemotionz I'm talking about 2.2 without touchwiz/samsung widgets
I typo'd. I meant AOSP. It sounds like thats what you are looking for. AOSP is stock android from google. CyanogenMod is built from AOSP but currently we have a alpha release(not a daily driver).
Also there's a sticky with a list of roms. Theres one called AOSP Magic. Its themed to look like AOSP.

I'm just trying to get the Max battery life I'f anyone knows a rom or a kernel that helps maximize that let me know ty. P.s sorry for noob question

the kernel will say cm7,aosp,sense,miu etc as well as which version of android it supports(froyo, gingerbread) your best bet is checking faux's cm7/aosp kernel thread in dev section, thederekjays kernel is also a winner and should be checked out.

There are only two kernels for our phone. Sense kernels and asop/cm7 kernels.
However, there are two different kernel version for asop .32 and. 35
The op will designate which it is and what it is used for. Just read carefully and you wont have a problem.

Hi,
I'm looking for ICS ROM for i9000 running on kernel 2.6.35.7 or 2.6.35.14. Also interested about kernel sources. If you know ROM like this just tell me. Thanks a lot.
I don't think this is possible, because kernel 2.6.35 is missing some features from the upstream kernel which are required by ICS. Also I'm wondering, why you would prefer an older kernel over a newer one?
I need kernel 2.6.35 for different device. Want to use i9000 kernel as a base.
U won't find any with lower than 2.8.x+ kernel.

There is no 2.8 kernel. Last 2.6 kernel was 2.6.39, after that came 3.0. But 3.0 is not really a major update, it's essentially 2.6.40, but Linus thought the numbers get too high so he named it 3.0 instead of 2.6.40.
can we port any asop roms to lg l7 using 4.1 android version or 4.2 version as a built source ?

You can use any of those source codes, actually there is a really good stable version of Cyanogenmod 10.1 for this phone that uses Android 4.2.2 as built source.

OK, you looks confused for what's the meaning of AOSP.
AOSP is the most "Official" Android ever made, it's created by Google without any software modification. Any Android ROM is based on AOSP, even Sense and Touchwiz. And you say, can we port AOSP with CM10 or CM10.1 as base, then the answer is = YES.
Why ? Because CM is based on AOSP. And it seems you looks confused for what's the meaning "built from source" with "porting".
ya may be ,but by aosp i mean parandroid exactly..
