bricked xperia-how to unbrick.

this is not a question,but sollution
i installed hard spl on x1,and the try to update with generic rom,and i stucked on 10%.when recovery was finish,nothing changed.10%again.i try with another rom,and it's installed to 100%,but x1 then keep on restarting.it's not even reach the main window,but stucked in 'sony ericsson'.if you have this issue,read tips below.
1. make x1 in bootloader mode (hold down volume down+power button)
2. hard reset your device
3. voila
xperia won't hard reset,if he won't be in bootloader mode first!!!and you need to instal at least one room to 100%.

hi,
am having problem here. doing something wrong while flash rom & my x1 bricked. now bootloader shows no image. when turn on it stuck at sony logo.
how do i overcome this? please help.

just want to install the Energy Leo (this is my first time, n i've done the HARD-SPL before install the ROM)
did u mean that i should enter the bootloader mode n do the hard reset while in bootloader mode?

After last power off Xperia X1 dont wake up at all
- no bootloader
- no hard reset
- no power up
- no any single spark of life
Is there some trick or JTAG to wake up the phone.

charge the phone completely, enter bootloader using the camera button+power button, task29, then flash via RUU

task29 saved me after bricking my phone few days ago when my device disconnected during a rom installation... something i tried and hoped it worked then it did... RUU wont even install unless i task29 that heartbreaking moment

I tried to update my Shadow by the new wm6.1 rom.. the first time it went to 100% and restart with an error 270 : the image is corrupt . After, when I boot loader, it go to 2% and restart every time ( many) :
I'm stucked at bootloader mode and tried many roms but no one sucsess ... all of them reach 2% and then stopped.
even I tried the original one (Shadow_Software_Update_1.11.531.5.exe) from t-mobile official site but also same result.
so can any one help me and give me any solution to try?

thanks a lot for attention to my problem and ur kind reply.
I already tried to do this but...
* How can I upload sspl/uspl to my phone from bootloader because it's the only mode I can work my phone?
* when I tried to do USPL + RUU it go to 100% and then the phone restart and the RUU program says corrupted image...
then the phone stays in it's state (only can go to bootloader mode).
can I use MTTY program to flash sspl/uspl and USPL and then the new rom? if yes .. how I can do it?
Or what may I do my friend..

if you can only get to the bootloader then try flashing to the t mobile rom, then start over

the screen is freeze with the Windows 6.5 Logo, and thats it!!!!
what can i do for do a hard reset?????? (i already do that thing, power it on, and then push the 2 soft buttons, and didn't work!),

Power off the phone
Press and hold the camera and voice keys
Insert the USB cable, Keep holding the camera and voice keys until you get the bootloader screen
Then flash an original ROM.

Have i bricked my MDA Touch????

I have tried to flash a rom on my MDA Touch with elf-uspl. Since flashing my device i cant get it starting again.I have tried to take out the battery, i pushed the powerbotton nothing helps. If i connect the usb cable with my device theres no reaction too. What can i do?? Is there any help to reanimate the device?? Or can i use it as a brick???

Go into bootloader mode (camera button and reset) and flash the ROM. press
both the button at the same time,just release the reset button u can reach the boot loader.now the things will be much simple for u i thing just open up ur RUU file flash it up.kindly make sure that u use a original rom.if u dont have it just reply else u can search it over the other threads.once u have a original rom u wont need to unlock the device.make sure that u have enough battery in ur device.feel free to reply

[Q] Phone locked up on boot. Did I brick it?

Recently flashed to NSFfans 6.5 WM rom. I couldn't activate the phone on my account because it wouldn't take the ##...# codes.
Long story short I attempted flashing Bigstorage_SprintTouchRom.exe to try and get back to sprint software where I could use the ## codes.
Everything went smoothly until first boot when it stopped at the "HTC smart mobility" screen. I then hard reset it (send+end+reset button on bottom) and it is still locking up on that screen.
Did I just break my phone?

No, you didn't brick it. It simply sounds like a bad flash.
Try flashing to another rom and see what happens. Which unlocker did you have on? 2.31 or .41?
BTW, if your ## codes don't work is probably because you are using a themed dialer. NFS' rom has a folder under Start Menu that is called "Phone Codes". In there, you will find the PST shortcut, which will allow you to program your phone.

if you can get into the bootloader (tri-color screen) then you haven't bricked it.

Edit: Okay, I have successfully re-flashed back to 6.5. The bootloader can be accessed by turning on the phone while pressing the camera button.
I am using 2.31 unlocker. When I try and activate the phone again what do I need to change in the phone codes to make it work?

Under the PST programming, more than likely you will only need to change:
MSID
MIN
HOMESID
username and password (for internet)
You shouldn't need to mess with anything else afaik.

i have the same problem and i tried to flash with others rom's with no succes ... my phone still locked in start screen . i dont know what to do.. i still can flash normally but i dont know wich rom will get back my phone again.. anyone help me plz!!

Details, details - how have you flashed? Have you tried flashing from bootloader? Flashing a carrier rom from bootloader should do the trick.

Its ok already fix it... =) but i think i need to start over again from unlock to flash it with another rom!

try to change the framework.apk on my arc replacing with root explore and now the phone is in bootloop at the "sonyericsson" logo ...
anyway to restart ?
Cannot replace the original framework because the phone doesn't start ...
my arc is rooted and try to install, without success, xrecovery.
anyone can help me, before send to assistance ?

solved my problem in this way :
download the UK generic firmware, then flash with flashtool (without wipe) reboot (maybe 4 min to start) re-apply the gingerbreak for root and everythings ok

CHANGE THE TITLE!!!
its not Bricked.... its bootlooped...
use Flashtool to flash stock FW....
recovery not yet available... so u need to flash stock FW...

now try ...

oh ok u already have FTF file then it simple...
place the FTF file in firmwares folder
open flashtool... click on FLASH... now u should see that file in the list... select that file and click OK... flashtool will now prepare the files... and then a popup will come telling u to connect device in FLASHMODE (i think for that u have to powerdown ur device and then keeping the back button pressed connect the USB cable)... now Flashtool should recognize ur device... and start flashing the firmware
