Any way to backup the arrangement of icons in Arc's application tray/menu? I have it arranged well & it got scrambled after battery being removed or USB mode change to mass storage mode.
same here, after restart the phone, the arrangement is scrambled
I'm having the same problem, it's very annoying. Does anyone have a solution?

I moved to CM7 (stable) running from the SD card (SanDisk 16GB C4).
I've notice a few apps that have white backgrounds bleeding white onto overlays. Not completely, sometimes just lines.
So far - Aldiko menu, Kindle app menu, FBReader selection menu and Pulse thumbnails.
Has anyone else seen this issue? possible solution?
I would appreciate if you could point me in the right direction.
I've removed and re-installed the offending apps. No change.
Also tried turning off compatibility mode. Nothing.
Thank you in advance!
*added a picture for clarification
This is a picture of the overlay issue I've been experiencing.
It shows Aldiko in day mood; returns to normal in night mode -very curious.
Any fix? or should I just start over?
Hi, one of my friend has an Galaxy S4
he had some photos and videos hidden in the gallery and today, he was trying to hide some new ones which didn't show the hide option
so, we cleared the cache and data of GALLERY from the Application manager
since then, we've been unable to find those hidden items
Can anyone tell what happened to them?
(however, we discovered that files photos/videos that are on SD card don't show HIDE option in the stock gallery)
but lost those hidden items that we hid earlier
anyone has any idea where they'd be? Changed Location or gone?
Thanks
My attempted search ended up applying for lock screens with pins and a bunch of other irrevelant issues. I noticed since I rooted I get a BUNCH of random issues like the rotation breaking and a solution is to add libgnustl_shared.so in a directory and reboot which makes me think this has a stupid simple solution but long story short:
My s4's stock music lock screen widget is missing and everything from its built in sound picker and its regular widget are still there. I've done an Odin restore but that didn't help, its not the launcher and it didnt appear in safe mode either.
After using the phone for a while a strange problem occurs. The widgets turn black but if you tap on them, they work. Just on home screen they look black.
If you enter to the Apps menu and try to edit any page (try to move an icon for ex) there is going to be a distortion at the background like color changing or instead of the background,
there will be a stretched icon of an application.
I have attached some screenshots for you to see.
Also a temporary solution to this problem that i found is to restart TouchWiz with an application i found on Play Store.
The name of the app is TouchWiz Killer.
Is there a permanent solution to this annoying problem that anyone has found?
After my S5 (non-rooted, official, knox 0x0) was updated to Lollipop, I've been facing the following problem:
Every few days all the app icons disappear from the apps menu. However, all the tabs that should contain them are still there, but are empty! Additionally, I cannot open any folder that contains app icons on the home screen. To add to that, when I click on the home-screen menu settings that should display the widgets, options etc. the screen does the zoom out effect but no icons/options appear; only an empty screen .
When that happens, I've tried switching to the "Easy Mode" interface option, which still works and thus I can access apps and settings again. If I switch, back to normal mode everything disappears once again!! :cyclops:
I've been able to fix this problem by going to the Application Manager and clearing the data/cache of the TouchWiz home-screen app, but every time I do that (second time today) I loose all home screen settings, widgets, icons order etc. and this is getting annoying!
-Edit 1-
Just found another way to solve this that seems to work:
1) Switch to Easy Mode
2) Restart phone
3) Switch back to normal mode and everything is back in place
-Edit 2-
OK, the above is only temporary; after a few minutes the problem came back!
Now added screenshots...
Anyone, with the same problem?
