Well, just bought an x10, it didnt came yet, should arive tomorrow. My last phone was an galaxy5800, that i gave up because of the poor graphics capabilities.
Now, im a bit scared about x10, i saw so many angry customers, that i came here to have a view of people that didnt had biggest issues with phone to know what you think about it...
First i dont think an official 2.2 or 2.3 will be a problem for me, since on my first day on galaxy5800 i updated to froyo. besides that, what you guys would say about the phone?
batery lasts? its good for hd games? runs psx4droid smooth? sound quality is good? touchscreen sensitivy is decent?
well i think this is what matters for me
thanks for any feedback!
I wouldn't describe the touch sensitivity as decent - its barely passable.
Yes to all your other questions though
damn, i tough it would not be a problem. the galaxy5800 uses tft capacitive too, and it rocks, "almost" touching the display activates the touch, tough on x10, using the same technlology would be no problem
just one more thing, im already ready to flash the phone to 2.2 when it arives, instaled and read everything needed. but in my older phone i had some problems with some games like raging thunder2, that didnt worked anyway after flashing.
everything will run on a 2.2 on x10?
thanks again
2.2 is basiccly same as 2.1 ( thanks to zdzihu ) exept it has more stuff like flash, ect. and everything works just fine. though you wont be able to play First person shooters normally because xpeia x10 has the multitouch bug....
Decline the package when it comes. Get another android device. Sony Ericsson ****d us on this device. Get a phone that gets Android 2.3/2.4. And a device with real multi touch capabilities.
If you want a device that is secured future updates don't get this.

what bug? there wasnt a recent patch that added multitouch?
Well guys, i paid for the device, and i will stay with it, except not getting 2.2 /2.3 what is so wrong with this phone?
yes it has multitouch... but in only works properly for zooming in or out, not for games...

and yes when touching 2 fingers at once sensitivity somewhy sucks...

Sony Ericsson's support and development is what's wrong with this device. Decline the package and get your money back.

the devs here havent fully unlocked it so some things are missing. Such as wifi tethering, full 16 mill colour screen, etc and it'll take longer to port firmware as they have to use the 2.1 update as a base. Currently the Camcorder only works with an external app with the 2.2 we have now and it wont have high detail recording. 2.3 doesnt have the camera currently but it will soon.
Things would speed up dramatically if we actually got a 2.2 update but the bootloader is locked down tight. Personally if i was you i would return it and get something like a HTC desire or something.
Depends what you want from the device. Since the bootloader is still locked, there's only so much you can do with it. But the super devs here at xda managed to get some custom roms working. I'm guessing you don't care much for the Sony ericsson UI, so the lack of support shouldn't be that much of an issue for you. Hardware wise, it is more than capable of running games smoothly, only problem is the multitouch issue described by others
Stupid sony ericsson could learn from other companies and just give us the bootloader...
with all these comments, im thinking in taking a galaxy s, at least try to, as i dont know if they will accept the phone back, and i will spend more money, that i dont have...
any chance of multitouch getting fixed? i heard there is a new update for multitouch comming soon

We've got dualtouch. Sort of works, but it won't get better than it is now.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Don't let the comments get you down though it is an awesome phone, and the touchscreen it's great side from the dual touch bugs.. You can still play many games even with dual touch, like gangstar, jet car stunts, and a lot of other really fun games! With froyo on it the phone is fast and responsive, and flash works perfectly..
It's a good purchase that I don't regret, needless to say I won't get another phone from se as their update policy and business ethic is shady at best, but I still think the x10 is a good phone.. I got mine used for 200 though, so definitely no complaints about that haha
well... gonna try to switch for an galaxy s... lets see what happens, thanks everyone
Knowing all the facts in hindsight, I would not purchase an X10 at this stage of the game. While I love my X10, SE doesn't anymore. Unless you get a new phone every 6 months, you will be kicking yourself in a year when everyone else is getting the latest technology. Smartphones turn into dinosaurs faster than PC's.

thanks for the positive feedback, at least if i didnt manage to exchange the phone, im not so afraid right now.
But man, im so disapointed with cellphones.. let me tell a short story:
i did never care for cellphones, and saw psx4droid. bought an galaxy 5800 to play games, and even with the best processor (667) on the price range it sucks on games ( it doesnt have gpu) .
i spent a lot more on that than i could. a oportunity apeared, and i decided to take a better phone, since i sold mine for almost the same price i paid. now, my x10 didnt arived yet, and im very disapointed with it, thinking on spending more money.. i can say, whatever phone i take, i hope it lasts, because will be the last time i spend money on a phone
If it's emulators you're after, get FPse it is easily the best playstation emulator! Then get the program wiimote controller and you can get passed the dual touch bug by using a wiimote controller through bluetooth
Its been quite a ride with the Xperia play, but unfortunately it hasn't been that good.
When i first got it i packed it to the brim with games. All gameloft ones like backstab, NOVA... stuff like that. Of course i was the first one to have one in my college, *****es love xperias
After a while i noticed that the buttons and the slider werent as strong as they used to be, i disregarded it but it became worse and worse. I take amazing care of all my phones, i can't really remember a time when i've dropped one! And hell, i wouldnt even put my phone on a flat surface because i worry about grit underneath it xD
Eventually we got root, this bought life back into the phone but as i am simlocked, no unlocked bootloader for me... Also we didn't get that many "good" games. Apart from gameloft ones and some EA ones... However i mostly played LSD and some other ps1 titles on fpse
At about this point me (and im sure a few of you) realised that this phone is going... nowhere. Its not quite the "Playstation phone" i thought it would be.
So now... its going. Im going to go back to my motorola defy and stay there for a while.

wow dude, have some patience. Good games don't comes right away. Plus, take a look at the n64oid. I've spent some good ass quality time playing Zelda OOT. I've much faith in this phone and i think we'll see some real good games this year. But sorry if you don't like it.. it's your loss
I was very excited about minecraft coming out for it but i don't know...
As for old skool games, I completed pokemon gold and yellow on it (and super mario 6 gold coins 2)

well, i'm not trying to make you keep the phone. If you wanna buy another one, do it
Yeah man, go ahead and change your phone, the Xperia PLAY is my first smartphone...
and I got it almost for free on a cheap 18 month plan.
So far it has not let me down on anything... and I currently more games than I can actually play, and with the emulators currently available is almost a non-limited game source.
However if I decide to change my phone, the only one available in Mexico better than the PLAY is the Galaxy S2... but no way, I will fit a humoungous phone like that on my pocket, also the price is a big step up, and I will surely miss my dedicated game pad... So there's no way out for me just yet (not that Im looking for one)
Currently I feel like the slider part is a bit more loose and the X button is more difficult to press on time (is like it is a little bit more "pressed" than the other ones), but no BIG issue just yet... I still have 10 months under warranty, so I can change it later for a new one and sell it $$$.
Im concerned too about where is this phone going, but I will gladly wait, because there is no better option for me right now.
We will miss a you as a PLAY user, because there more of us in here the more support we can get from DEVs and SE.
What does the defy offer that you don't get from play? You gotta be kidding.. Going with Motorola's lmao

I think someone expects too much. Honestly, I've found this phone to have lots of life in it, and it's not exactly going nowhere, what with all the development going on by people on this very website. Yeah locked bootloader sucks and yeah it would be nice to have a fix released today but to just give up after a couple months because you aren't getting exactly what you want...well, maybe you need to get out more, see how life really works.
Suck it up muffin, or leave in silence.
slider and button problems already? jeez what have you been doing to your phone? I bought mine shortly after it was released and it's still good as new.
and yes, games don't come overnight. patience is indeed a virtue. also, your phone choices are a mismatch.. Xperia Play against Defy? OMFG it's ridiculous
my missus has the defy and the only reason she has it is because she is a dozy bint who treats a phone like makeup, pop it in the bag and sling it on the floor when it's needed.
that's why it's the perfect phone for her but other than that it's ****e.
it's your choice what you do, not sure why you feel the need to let us all know though, not sure anybody cares?
It'd be nice of you to fulfill your bounty pledge
I am glad the people who have no patience are leaving and getting **** phones in comparison.
Like people who go from Android to iphone are so fail.
Less whinging here if all the the complainers change phones because they couldn't wait. Some phones don't ever get updates
I think some people are expecting to much. This is a phone after all not a dedicated gaming device.
The Xplay plays all the same games any other phone you get will do but other phones dont have gaming controls this is what it comes down to (for me anyways ). I cannot see how you would want to trade playing emulators + fpse with real controls for crappier gaming...
Even without root and an unlocked bootloader this phone still has alot going for it, no other phone can offer the gaming experience this phone offers and it does the job as a phone well in my opinion.
You may just be unluckly but i hammer my gaming pad and slider and i have even droped it once and its still seems fine.
You have warranty/insurance right? Well whats the problem if it breaks get it replaced...
yh this phones annoys the f out of me but its still under devolpment u wont find a better game phone becouse proper games aint been made yet

Why is everyone trying to flame replicant for trying to open a discussion on the pro's and con's of the device, and the reason why he has decided to sell it??
This is the whole point of xda, people share there experiences and ideas, Have you ever though that a thread like this where people express there feelings about a device is usefull for people who are undecided about weather to buy the play or not.
How are people ment to make an informed decision when the first time someone says something bad about your precious device, all you fanboys jump on them like a group of thugs ... pathetic

The problem with posting this kind of opinion in this forum is that, if it's wrong, you're not giving any valuable information, and if you're right, you're just telling people they're a bunch.of losers for.buying this phone.
This thread belongs in a general Android thread where it can actually be read by.people considering the Play. In here, you can assume that everyone has the phone and you risk this kind of response.

I like the part where you clearly have no idea what you're on about.
Call me crazy, but I can't get that worked up about an OS.
The Xperia Play remains the device I've always dreamed of carrying with me, ever since I first saw the PSP and wished it could fit in a pocket and make calls and texts. If you'd have told me that device would one day stop getting official OS updates, I would hardly have been shocked or put off it. If you'd have told me the manufacturer released its latest beta freely and remained supportive of unofficial development (I know part of the thanks to that is Android), I'd have been impressed.
I have friends with Galaxy Notes and S2s and they see my gamepad, and freaking ZELDA on N64oid, and their eyes light up. It's a really, really cool device. Not that I hate their phones or anything, but I wouldn't swap. Hell I wouldn't swap for a Galaxy S3 or HTC One X or whatever the latest is currently. Now they may be the dream devices for some people here, but for me it would be as exciting as swapping a PS3 for an ironing board. If I didn't think that buttons are an essential for making games fun, I'd buy an iPhone, seriously. Much as I prefer the open nature of Android, iOS has many more apps.
90% of Play owners out there do not have root or an unlocked bootloader. They are not as technical as posters on XDA, and would not have been expecting game buttons to go wrong. It would have been a support nightmare for Sony to have let those people upgrade if there were going to be issues. For the rest of us, we can flash the beta / whatever dev roms we want. What I mainly liked about the ICS beta was the hardware accelerated browsing. But if Gingerbread ends up being the way to go, then I'll just use Opera for that. Nothing else on a generic gamepad-less ICS phone would really hold a candle to playing console games with buttons whereever I want.
I'm much more pissed off at EA for not making our optimised exclusives, FIFA and Dead Space, available in the UK for people who were too late for that deal, even to buy.
Its a phone im getting sick of tinkering with it....i just wanna play my games, text my *****es and occasionly call my parents and tell them im alive...ics pfft.

I find the part where you say that OP has no idea what hes on about to be worthy of a good ol fashioned facepalm.
ICS is pretty much all OP says it is. Graphical and Performance tweaks. Swipe off notifications (pointless as I have a handy little cross on Gingerbread that removes notifications anyway), Swipe task killer (not as amazing as it sounds as I have a better way...close the app properly) and some browser related stuff like hardware accelerated browsing and swipe off tabs (again, just open up tabs and click the little cross in the corner)
Almost everything on ICS is there to save you a whole, get this, few seconds. More often than not you dont end up swiping a particular notification/app/tab off and end up opening it instead.

On ICS, with N64oid you can use the gamepad touchpads.
(but atm, N64oid with ICS is still laggy ...)
Its true that we dont need it. But like my self i bought the phone since i have in mind buying an ICS but didnt wanted to spend $600 or more in it.
I own an ICS tablet and its the first android that doesnt need tweeks or that i find no use of a custom rom to make it work the way i like.
Do i need ICS on my xperia play?
Yes, please.

I love the part where you think you do. Do me a favor, how about you buy a different brand of phone so you can realize that Sony is actually just as good, if not better at supporting their devices than HTC, Motorola, Samsung, [insert name here].
Better yet, skip a step and just buy a ****ing iPhone. It will compliment your douchiness nicely.
I dont need it, and I'm getting a Hayabusa when it launches locally.
I have a Xoom with 4.0.4 ICS and I don't see why everyone is making such a big fuss.
However, I would have liked to see Sony push out one more GB update for the play with updated Qualcomm drivers, updated Sony apps and maybe improved Web browser.
Im just saying its really not worth the fuss lol who cares what I want is what I was promised ps suite isnt this supposed to be a sweet ass gaming phone with a tit load of games ? I understand that many of you are feeling betrayed as you were looking forward to the ICS update for the PLAY as was I, but if we look at it in the cold light of day it really isn't such a bad thing that we will not be getting it.
We have to get out of the mentality that newer is better it rarely is. If SONY can't vouch for the stability of the device with ICS they will not release it. Simple as that. As an ex ZTE blade owner I always felt priveliged at the amazing work the devs put to turn my device from a heap of crap to a decent phone. My play is still a decent phone and is unique amongst all the millions of android devices available. It has a physical game controller.
Yes SONY broke their promise, yes it sucks but as a community it is our responsibility to continue to support and develop the device, otherwise buy something else.
As far as I'm concerned we need to chill out, stop complaining and get on with it. SONY need to release their sources to attempt to keep customers onboard, and I will continue to enjoy my phone until the next one comes along.
It's only a phone
I'm gonna post what I posted in an earlier thread about this issue. Hopefully it will make people see sense before any anger ensues:
There is no point, at all, in getting angry about this. They rolled out the beta as a way for the community to test and give feedback on what works and what doesnt. It did what a beta is designed to do. Unfortunately for Sony, the gamepad on the Play came back and kicked them right where it hurts. Id rather have a gaming device that works than one that doesnt.
To put it simply: All PS3/Xbox/PC users. Imagine if Sony or Microsoft rolled out a new OS that looked nice BUT......Controllers/Keyboard and Mouse support didnt work. Sure, you have a nice looking OS but the chief reason for buying the machine is gone.
People in here need to calm the hell down. Its not, I repeat, NOT...Sonys fault
I pretty much refuse to chill out until they give the Dev's here the latest rom they were working on...
i didnt pay £500 for my phone to get stiffed on an update "because of hardware issues"
i refuse to go and buy a new phone just to get ICS seeing as this cost me what it did not less than a month or two ago when the shop said to me SONY are able to give you ICS
also...

Hate to burst your "I deserve everything Im promised" bubble but hardware issues is an extremely legitimate reason not to get the update. Id rather my Play still worked than having features removed from it. Particularly the gamepad support for games Ive purchased
99% of the people that bought a Play bought it for the gamepad and/or gpu.. If you bought it JUST for the possibility of getting ICS, well.......

Just seen the news on Xperia Blog.
The Xperia Tablet Z could see KitKat in May 2014!
Yeah, right after the Tablet Z2 hits the shelves, so those who can't wait will buy the new one
If i have the money I'll buy the new one
Otherwise I'm happy that the Tablet Z is getting Kit Kat

Pretty happy with it at the moment but I can't believe there is no APP2SD support in stock ROM, hoping we get it in 4.4

:/ OK I won't go to official 4.4 then.. Can anyone recommend a stable ROM with APP2SD support?
Xperia Tablet Z 2... screw that... I'm never buying nothing from Sony again. There's no excuse for updates taking this long. As much as I love and baby my tab Z like another child... being in Canada and waiting 6 months for an update is complete BULL... I know its not just Sony's fault, Google is to blame as well. OS FRAGMENTATION issues... thats a laugh... once an update is out these manufacturers should be getting the ball rolling, but they are not. They wait until a new product is in the makes and then they finally do something with the update. Its just not right.
I just don't have enough middle fingers to hold up to those guys. I pay top dollar for a premium product, I expect premium support for that product as well. Otherwise I might as well buy the discount low price no-name piece of hardware that has all the latest technology and latest O/S cause then I can afford to replace it every 6 months to a year instead of expecting support for cutting edge in technology I think will last a few years.
I agree that updates take too damn long but its not only Sony, all manufacturers take ages to roll new updates
Sadly only nexus devices have the privilege of fast updates
But its better to get an update even if late than to get nothing at all, some manufacturers like lg or samsung don't even bother
You might say samsung does update thier devices but the only devices they care to update are the Note and The Galaxy S line, the rest? Stuck in the mud

I'm curious, other than the Nexus lineup, who would you say offers faster upgrades? Nexus has the benefit of internal Google development being applied when creating the update. Additionally....it also has NO OS MODIFICATIONS. That's one of the biggest hurdles. All the changes to the OS that companies do, require additional development time. That's in addition to any new drivers that have to be created and tested for components that exist in this particular device, that weren't in the Nexus devices.
So what manufacturer besides Sony would you purchase from who does not have that same issue? I ask because you indicate you'd just continually buy new cheaper devices. Even many new launch devices currently do not come with 4.4.2 loaded on them. Those that do, only have been showing up in the last month or so at best, and normally are NOT the cheap models.
We have already received one major update on the Tablet Z. We just received a minor update the other month and are due for another major update within 2 months. Seems relatively quick to me.
4.4.2 launched in December for Nexus devices. Most manufacturers would not want to jump on 4.4 cause they know there'll be quick follow up updates. And 4.4.1 was only a few weeks before that. Most nexus devices didn't have 4.4.2 until late December or early January. It's the end of March now, and we're already targeted to receive the update in May. Granted it could be late May or even June for certain models, but they just recently got 4.3 out there, so they jumped onto 4.4 pretty quickly.
Also, this sentence: " being in Canada and waiting 6 months for an update is complete BULL... " Can you clarify to me what special treatment you are supposed to get since you are in Canada? Are they some type of "mobile OS priority" country?
It's better late than never... I think the update timeline of Sony is fair enough.. 4.1.2, 4.2.2, 4.3 and soon 4.4.2. we have many options for our tatse.. in my part, my concern is how good would be the next update..i hoping for a lesser bugs(bug free would be better) in 4.4.2..that's all..
IOS by the way has an update twice a week. so if anybody here wants a quick/frequent update..IOS is an option..hehehe
It not really the update that matters to me... its the functionality... its like its been rushed and full of bugs... apps that should work proper doesnt (ex: Mx player audio bug; WIFI problems disconnecting every 15-20 minutes when connecting to networks with other streaming apps) New version = fixed problems... but that is not the case. And to the fellow that commenting about me being from canada... well I noticed there are different versions of firmware all over the world... and it seems over here we get the updates last... thats what I was refering to. (311, 312 wifi) Sure they can release updates untill the cows come home... but if they are not fixing the problems that are currently on the device.. it dont mean crap.

First thing first: I use MX Player I don't have any audio problems. No WiFi problems also.
About the Canada thing, believe me, Brazil takes even more time. But, that's isn't Sony fault. I mean, they don't put a World Map, play Darts with it, and the updates rolls out in order that the countries are hit. I don't know exactly the reason, but there is one. It is normally staged rollout. If there are problems, they can know already about it and start working. At least the number of people with the problem will be lower.
There are no different fw versions all over the world. There is .101 for LTE models, and .109 for WiFi models. The difference relies on country related crap built in. Last but not least, you can always grab a ftf and flash the fw yourself if you want.

As previously stated, while the two issues you mention are something others experience, "most" owners are not having those issues. Yes, MOST people do not have those issues. Only the small percentage that are vocal on the boards and a few others. I'm not trying to diminish your experience, but while I'm sure it's frustrating, I don't think it's probably Sony's top priority with only a minority having these issues.
That said, I just wouldn't slam Sony overall for it, but if it leaves a bad taste in your mouth that's fine. Honestly, with how new this technology still is, to thing that the devices being produced are already at this quality level, with less than 5-6 years of legacy production on most of them, is pretty impressive.
Ever heard of AOSP?

THIS Quote right here sums it up...
You want a better OS? Either have patience, or go unlock bootloaders and load AOSP Google Nexus OS. Better "functionality"? Well WAIT for Sony developers instead of "RUSHING" them, then you wont find "full of bugs..."
See, we are so spoiled, we all want, NOW NOW NOW NOW NAAAAOOOO.
How about changing pace? Be patient. Seriously, i mean other than companies like SONY (Who actually LOVE AND ENCOURAGE THE DEV WORLD) actually puts out great product. I'm not trying to bash on Samsung and all, but I would rather be with Sony Products than Samsung or HTC that likes to "scrimp" on hardwares and "overcharge" the masses.
Here's the kicker.... THEY DON'T "LOVE" or "ENCOURAGE" DEVELOPERS WORLD. Example, Samsung started to lock down their stuff with SELinux and Knox, even circuit electric locking your phone. (Means that it locks you out permanently and will brick you phone if you try to downgrade, or such. I forgot the actual wording.)
So, really, have more patience in this world.
I know I do. I haven't upgraded, just because mine is PERFECTLY working the way I want it. WiFi works, it's not botchy like some, still on 4.1.2, loaded XMB, casting great on my tv, and rooted. Plus even loaded the dual recovery. Not bootloader unlocked. And I even did that patch to make the rebooting stop while i take out the bloat, WHICH amazingly enough, the bloat was LESS THAN WHAT I HAD IN MY SAMSUNG S3 PHONE. I mean, WAY LESS.
Oh, I have both N7 and N10, (Yes, i'm spoiled), and both stock, ran against my Z Tab, and Antutu scored way higher than both Nexus 7 or the 10. I made both Nexuses barebones, no google, and ran Antu, and still my Sony topped them.
BE GREAT FULL THAT YOU HAVE A FUNCTIONING DEVICE

Even if you where correct about Sony taking long to come with updates which I don't think they are compared to others. We get the update and is it not better to get a stable update with apps updated aswell rather than a rushed update. Yes I can't wait for the update as well but after all will it really make that big of a difference that having to wait a bit longer is a huge problem?

A huge international company like Sony, you would think they would have a huge development team for android devices since they have made quite a few already, should be able to keep up with the new versions of android as they come out (meaning a month or two after its release). Not just Sony but all the major brands. They are practically given the complete code to begin with, so pretty much just have to update all their bloat.

Actually yes I have these issues that is another reason why it is fustrating. Update after update that doesn't fix the same problems.

Dude I never asked for special treatment... when an update comes out it seems like we are near the end of the lineup a month or two after everyone else. I guess the Brazilian guy understands my greif... cause it does seem like they throw darts at a map sometimes.

Actually you have no clue what you are talking about. I own a Note 3 and it doesn't do any of that... do you even know what KNOX is for? Its for buisness apps that access your companys secure network. (It was a toss up between Note 3 and the z2... and I just didnt like the z2 bezzel it seemed oversized on the top and bottom) And actually they really are not that friendly to the developer world... they just dont want to spend the money to fix every little exploit cause people are going to flash roms and unlock bootloaders, and brick their devices and send them back no matter what they do so they might as well quit an sit back and wait for others to do the work for them. Anyone who has a ps3 or similar products would know what Im talking about.

Sure... I CAN wait for an update as long as all the previous issues have been addressed and not causing new issues (re: 5 minute shut down, and high battery drain)
But the point I'm actually trying to make is 6 months is too long for an update but no one else here seems notice. All the internet talk about fragmentation issues with all these devices with different android versions. An android version comes out... it shouldnt take more than two months to develop and distribute an update its not like Sony employs one or two people to do this task ( Or HTC or Samsung etc...) The average life span of an android device is a year to two years. (and yes I usually get a new phone pretty close to every year i always try to get the latest and greatest NON APPLE products) But whatever I dont even know if I want Kit Kat after all I have heard, thats the main reason why I havent flashed AOSp or some other rom cause they dont completely work, theres always something that remains broken. When official kit Kat comes out... if it fixes the current issues sure why not.
I will not quote the whole post because it is too long, but... Sony has Ben loosing a lot of money lately, as a whole. Even though Sony Mobile is winning more than losing, the whole company is losing. And, no, they don't have a huge team of developers to take care of that.
Until Sony bought the Sony Ericsson joint venture, all of Sony smartphone development (both hardware and software) was done in Sony Ericsson hoke country. After Sony bought it, they decided to slowly shift both software and hardware development to Sony Japan. That caused a whole huge mess...
Even though Sony Japan had enough manwork, they weren't talented as the software developers from the old SE. They had transfered the 4.1.2 update for S from SE to Japan. Japan messed up the update pretty bad, and SE team (I just can't remember the country name lol) had to work to fix it, while working on the 4.2.2 for newer devices...
So now they have a relatively small dev team, but a very talented one

I actually do know what KNOX is. I also do know what i'm talking about. I have Knox on my government phone. And I wasn't talking about having a Z2 or it's damn oversized bezzel, I was just simply stating that Sony has a better handle on the developer world, compared to other companies such as HTC or Samsung. Seriously, do you think they like the idea that you are putting a custom ROM on your Note 3? SELinux = On Note 3 = Enforcing. Knox will monitor if you "tamper" with the Note 3. You change those values, you think they'll HONOR your "bricked" device because you "Unlocked the Bootloaders" and "Customized the ROM"? Try it...
And so, "they are really not that friendly to the developer world".... and Samsung is? Ha. Thanks for giving me the laughs.
I do own a PS3, but i never had to send them back. I'm not sure how "PS3" is actually added in this conversation.
