Works for me, I think your phone is toast

Short story, they still need a custom pit for mapping. And its would still be a serious challenge for the epic atm.

I'm on computer actually, and I finally got it to load

Unfortunately I don't think we will ever see it though it would be pretty kick ass.

Well we need to wake the devs up! Looks like waiting for source is not the only option! I would love deca's or noobnl's views on this!

All source does is make it easier for the devs...they can do without source, but they'd have to write evrything from the ground up, which, funnily enough, should've been done by now if the cm devs didn't keep falling back on the sauceline.
But its completely understandable. Its like when I used to play pokemon yellow. I've gone through mt.moon numerous times without flash, but flash makes it A LOT A LOT A LOT easier,so I go and get it.

FYI we need a donor device to get UnBrickable Mod onto Epic.
I thought I found someone but haven't heard back from them in a while.
BTW, "donor device" means a device which will have it's CPU (destructively) removed to find the correct pins and do the mapping.
See here for more info.
Keep an ear out for any dead / bricked Epics that someone might want to donate to the cause.

is anyone else having issuses watching youtube vids on their cpu? or am i the only one? i have uninstalled and reinstalled everything and im at a stopping point... my next step is format...

6. WTF do you mean
7. Formatting your SD card would have no effect
8. Wipe data and reflash your rom.

Sorry to say it but you're the only one. If you can give us further information like what marcusant said we can help. Sometimes a simple reboot works. Did the job for me before

uninstall and reinstall happens on a pc too. browser, youtube desktop app, etc.
ive never refered to hard reseting my phone as formating. when i say reformat, im usually refering to a spinning harddrive.
like i said, just an assumtion. im prolly wrong.

CPU means Central Processing Unit not computer haha.

cpu = Brain

This site gives pretty nice instructions on how to make the build yourself
I would make it, but I don't have a large enough hard drive
Right now it's slow and in early alpha, Hardware Acceleration doesn't work as of now.
So until someone can dump the IMG files, this is how it's done.

A friend of mine is right now for the 4G. Let's see how this works..
the result file should be .img files that have to be flashed via fastboot.
So everything will be erased, recoveries, ROM's and your SDCARD/eMMC

Does it wipe SD card?

My friend is currently trying to get a version that we can flash, because normally it just transfers straight from adb. He has to fix permissions and symlinks of the dump. Hopefully if everything goes right we should have a build by tonight

what happened to the thread you posted with the precompiled zip?? I was able to pull it up on google cache, but it's deleted from XDA for some reason.
was there an issue with the build that caused it to get pulled?? I'd like to try it out since I've already got your zip.

ya it takes about 10-15min to extract, i used fast wifi to download, but it's a much bigger file when you extract

im guessing mine shows up automatically because my tv is a smart tv on the same network and it just picked it up ... i did nothing to set it up i was just playing a video and saw the little button and clicked on it ... and im sure im not the first person to discover this i just found out about it just now and thought id share in case someone didnt know like me

yea man you need a better instruction, this is not really DLNA since he is playing from his phone to the TV, DLNA is u accessing files from your phone on your TV.

like i said in the video man i really didnt set up anything i just saw the little icon on my phone and pushed it and my tv started playing the song i was listening too .. i wish i could help you more i just think it picked it up as a connected device on my network

Wow... this is so amazing!!! I would have bought this phone just for this feature. Who cares if dlna has been out for years. Just the simple fact of playing music on my TV is way worth the 600+ dollars. pardon my ignorance but I've never heard of this (is my geek card revoked? :laugh: ).
is this the only method for showing music/films on one's TV?
well, aside from the obvious HDMI cable attaching from phone to TV
I only want to understand this. I was under the impression this only worked if all your devices were connected via that "ALLSHARE" thing.

my tv has no allshare on it i think its dnla ...and i mean you didnt have to watch the video ... i just wanted to shared no need to be a jerk ... isnt that what these forums for sharing things about these devices .... if im wrong ill stop posting
