I dont have the option to share webpages, photos etc. via the stock email client that comes with Android 2.1 (the icon is a white envelope with a green @ symbol)
Does yours work? Open a webpage, from the menu, tap "share page" and screen will come up with "share via" and will list a bunch of options, bluetooth, facebook, gmail etc. However, the mail client is not listed.
This is very frustrating as I use it for my main email account and either have to attach photos or copy/paste urls into emails to send them.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Thanks very much!
Has anyone figured out a way to enable gmail background data without the settings menu option?
Mine is working in background.
Just mare sure that you select to sync inbox in the gmail settings (Gmail , click menu, more -> settings and pick your gmail account).

Nice, that did it!
I have multiple google accounts. I registered my NST with one of them. Then I rooted with minimal touch. Now it seems I'm can only use one of the accounts (the initial register account) in the calendar apps. I could add the other google account in gmail app and check my email just fine, but not calendar.
Synker resets the device if you try to access the "accounts & sync" settings in order to add more accounts. I did not find any other way to access this setting from any settings app (including both nook color and nook touch tools).
Calengoo app supports multiple gmail accounts (outside the standard Android "accounts & sync" settings), but it hangs when syncing. Did you manage to make calengoo work with NST?
Anyone suffered the same problem? The only solution is unroot and reregister with the other account? In that case, which is the safest way to do so from rooted (minimal touch) 1.1.2?
Thanks!
Hey everyone, I need some help. Since the Gmail app updated to the "Material Design" look, I've had an annoyance when trying to switch between my email accounts. In order to quickly switch, you can tap on the icon for the email address you wish to switch to. The problem is, two of my accounts are using the default Gmail silhouette, so I can't tell which one is which from the menu:

For all three of my accounts, I have uploaded a profile picture via the general tab in Gmail settings in the browser. My personal Gmail shows my picture, no problem, but for some reason the other two don't come through. I'm not sure if it matters, but both are Google Apps for Work accounts . Also, I'm not sure if it has to do something with the sync settings, but I have them set up to sync email and app data. Also, for reference I am rooted and using the stock NC1 AT&T rom and have cleaned off all the bloatware.
Anyone know how I can fix this?
Thanks,
shingy
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (GT-N9005) running on DarkLord ROM.
I've been using the ROM for quite sometime now but only until today that I noticed my contacts' birthdays are not showing up in my S Planner. I've tried almost everything I can find on the internet from syncing Google Calendar to clear data and cache of the Calendar Storage and S Planner to making sure my calendar setting for "Display contacts' birthday" is turned on. Nothing works...
I really need help on this on... I've saw someone saying:
Open Calendar and tap menu -> Calendars to display. At the bottom of the screen, tap "Calendars to sync" button. For each calendar (if you have more than one), check the box next to "Contact's birthdays and events".
But I just can't find the "Calendar to sync" button. Please help! Thanks in advanced
