Flash Clock Work Mod Recovery that is the right partition size for the ROM (check ROM thread for this) and then flash it via Clock Work Mod Recovery using the .zip file. Click on my giuide in my sig and look for the links to the guide you are using and the other guide I have linked at the top of the guide.

I did it and now it is saying "NAND Kernal open Failed". I even tried Magldr again and it did complete but I still says the same thing. I am stuck on that bootloader window. I need this phoe running by tomorrow. Can you help me?

Yes but I need detailed information as to what you have done and what ROM you are trying to flash. The more info you can give my about what you have done the better. When you say stuck in bootloader do you mean the multicolor screen? Also sorry for the lag in post my wife wanted to play Farmville aghhhh, lol.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
I was following the instructions on this site to the T. I verified the Radio and I installed the HARDSPL 2.08.
I downloaded the stuff from XDA from the links on this forum:
ROM: DFT_Android
Bootloader: MAGLDR113
I followed the instructions and when I got to the time to open the DAF file in the ROM I did and got three clicks in and it said what I typed in my first post to this thread. Right now I am currently stuck when I turn the phone on it says NAND Open Failed and then goes to the eMADLDR Screen.
If you can help me and get it running by the end of the night that would be awesome!

If I put the phone in USB Mass Storage Mode and open the drive for the phone there is nothing in there.

Ok let me review the DFT ROM thread for a few minutes as I have never flashed the Original DFT ROM. Also now that you have MAGLDR on your HD2 you do not have a ROM this is why it will not do anything but boot into MAGLDR it is also why you are getting that error message. MAGLDR has nothing to boot right now. When you are in option #4 USB Mass Stg does your HD2 show up as MAGLDR in device manager in control panel of your computer?
What version of windows are you runnimg on your computer?

no.
Let me know what my options are whether it be find a way to do the nand or load from sd card.

What version of Windows does your computer use XP,Vista, or Windows 7?

win 7 is what use

Ok Your problem is that your computer is not recognizing your HD2 when connected to your computer this is why I asked if it said MSGLDR in device manager. You can try a couple of things to fix this. One just try all USB ports on your computer untill you see it says it is installing the drivers and it shows up as MAGLDR. Two you can open ActiveSynce or Windows Mobile Device Center and uncheck allow USB connections. Three go to device manager and click on your phone as it will show up there it just might say unknown or something, anyway click on it to make it drop down and then Right click on the drop down and select update drivers then select get from internet. If it does not find the drivers automaticly from the internet , browse and go to computer and then removable device and select for it to get drivers from it. When you have proper connection it will say MAGLDR for your HD2. Then you should be able to flash the ROM. Also make sure you right click on the DAf and select run as adminastrator when you flash the ROM.
Also if you just want to all you have to do to flash back to Windows Mobile is download the official ROM for your HD2 or a custom ROM and flash it via bootloader. Just make sure the white bar of bootloader says USB befor running the RUU. Make sure the ROM is for a T-Mobile HD2 thogh be it a official or custom.

Tried the last one and yes it now shows up at MAGLDR on my device manager. But when I go to the DAF I only get three clicks in again and it said this.

When you say three clicks are you talking about the clicks you have to make on the next button in the DFT Utility? Also just to make sure you are right clicking on the DAF and selecting run as administrator as you have to do this if you are running Vista or Windows 7. It is a must.

Yes and yes. I open the Rom to run and click "next" three times and then I get that message. I am also making sure that I opening under admin. At this point would it be best to do a manually copy the rom to the sd and open from there? I am not sure how to do it, I found video online on
http://www.jayceooi.com/2011/01/07/...-on-htc-hd2-with-clockworkmod-recovery-video/
The only problem I have with that is that the os looks like a really old version when I really want the sense or desire

Well I am only looking at the first post in the thread for the DFT ROM and I do not see it say you can use Clock work recovery anywhere in that post. Which means it does not give a partition size for CWM. But it does not hurt to try it. Copy the .zip file the ROM comes in when you down load it to your computer to the root of your SD card. Root means it is not in any folder but just on your SD card. Then follow these instructions from my guide. Also download the v1.3 150MB from the CWM thread i linked it below.
Download the appropriate partition size recovery.zip file , check the first post by the ROM dev in the ROM thread for their suggested partition size. Go the CWM thread to download and see more instructions on how to install. Once you have the .zip file downloaded extract the contents of the zip file to the location and folder of your choosing. Next power on your HD2 but keep the power button pressed down to enter MAGLDR. Scroll down to option #5 USB flasher and connect it via USB cable to your computer. Give it a minute to install any drivers necessary and then right click on the DAF in the folder you extracted the files to and click on run as administrator. Let the progress bar on your computer and HD2 complete to 100% then click close on the last window of the installer. Your HD2 will automatically reboot it’s self but hold down the power button as it boots back up to bring up MAGLDR again. Scroll down to AD Recovery and press the send button and CWM will boot.
Once you have CWM flashed and booted up use the volume up and down just like in MAGLDR to scroll and go to install zip from sdcard and press the send button. Then go to choose zip from sdcard and press the send button. Then scroll through until you see your .zip file you just copied to your SD card and press the send button. then scroll to yes and press the send button and this should flash the ROM for you. I am only concerned about it not mentioning CWM in the DFT ROM thread, maybe Cotulla just has not updated it yet.

Yes that is Clock Work Mod Recovery, I linked it in my other post. You want to download the v1.3 150MB download for it.

This looks like a major pain, start again by flashing a WM6.5 rom. That way you are starting fresh.
You just need to go back to step 1 after flashing WM6.5, hard SPL already flashed, start at installing MagLdr...

Trying it right now. I will repost if it works. So far I am able to get Clock Work on my device, I am currently downloading the ROM.ZIP file to then mount to the root folder on my phone. I will post in the next 1hr to let you know.

Why would they want to start all over again they have MAGLDR flashed. I personally think they just need to flash a different Android ROM as the DFT ROM has to be flashed by USB Flasher and installing with CWM is so much easier to me. But synergeticink wants this ROM so I am trying to help synergeticink get this ROM going. Starting over will only add two more steps here, one flash the Win Mo ROM, two reflashing MAGLDR, and maybe three if they already have CWM flashed as they would have to reflash it if they deside to go with another CWM compatible ROM. Which I am still not sure about if the DFT ROM is CWM compatible or not.

How To Install A NAND Android ROM On Your T-Mobile HD2
(I am linking to several Original Threads in this tutorial. The "Nice Thing To Do" is hit the "Thanks" button at the bottom of those threads to let the author know we appreciate their help)
mskip wrote an excellent tut over on the Leo forums. I used his instructions to create my own method, which has never given me issues.
My method has been used by others and has a 100% success rate as of this writing.
You MUST be HSPL'd. This is not a joke. If you attempt this method without HSPL, your phone won't boot. I can not help you if you do this. If you have the 3.14 radio, try flashing: this stock ROM before HSPL. Thanks to xmoo for the link! Original thread is here.
Read the following steps. If you're confused, read the explanations below.
(Preparing)
Folder: Create a new folder on your Desktop. I named mine Flash. Put all downloads here.
HSPL: Cotulla's HSPL 3 is located here. (Original thread is here)
Task29: Download the Task29.exe program located here. Unzip it to a new folder. Replace the RUU_Signed.nbh file with your favorite radio. I use 2.15.50.14 (Original thread is here)
MAGLDR: Get MAGLDR 1.11 (or the latest version!) located here. Unzip this to a new folder.
ROM: Visit HD2 NAND Android Development thread here on XDA and download your new ROM. I am currently using this one, but will probably have a different one tomorrow Unzip this to a new folder.
SD Card: Back up everything you want to keep from your SD card, and then format it. Hint: dcim is where your pictures are stored (File System: Fat32, Allocation unit size: 16 kilobytes) Personally, I like to uncheck the "Quick format"; it takes up to an hour but ensures my card is in the best shape possible. Once your format is complete, you may replace your backed up files.
(Flashing)
(*Optional: Remove your SD and SIM cards, if you are paranoid, like me )
Connect your phone via USB to the PC and wait for any drivers to install.
Task29: Navigate to the Task29 folder and right-click on task29.exe and "Run as administrator". Your phone will reboot to the initial flash screen. You will have to reset to Bootloader.
Wait for your PC to update the drivers again.
MAGLDR: Navigate to the MAGDLR folder and right-click on ROMUpdateUtility.exe and "Run as administrator". Your phone will reboot to a new boot screen.
Wait for your PC to update the drivers again.
You should be booted to the new MAGLDR screen and see a series of options. Use your volume rocker to highlight "USB Flash" and press the green call button to select it.
Wait for your PC to update the drivers again.
ROM: Navigate to your new ROM folder and right-click DAF.exe and "Run as administrator".
Congratulations! When your phone reboots, it should start MAGLDR which will immediately boot your new Android NAND ROM!
Now, here are the details about the above instructions. You should only need them if you are confused.
(Preparing)
I use this to keep myself organized. I own several HTC phones and flash them all, so keeping things separate is a must for me.
Having a Hard Secondary Program Loader is a must for any NAND flash, whether it be Windows Mobile or Android. This will void your T-Mobile warranty, but can be fixed by flashing a Stock T-Mobile ROM via your microSD card. Check my sig for the tutorial link on how to do that.
This is the easiest method to do a task 29. The other is using mtty, which is beyond the scope of this tutorial. Task29 completely erases the existing files and partitions, preventing any loose data bits from causing issues with a new flash. You should always Task29 between NAND ROMs.
MAGLDR: A group of devs have been working on a NAND loader for some time and Cotulla and the Dark Forces Team (DAF) were the first to release a working loader. There may be more to come in the future, but this is the first (and has Tetris built in )
You should never ask the "best ROM for my phone" question. Every chef works hard on their build and considers it the best. Every user has their favorite chef and considers them the best. You should shop around to find the one that fits you best.
I consider formatting the SD card a must if I have any data written to it by a ROM. If you have installed Android to your card, you definitely want to do this!
(Flashing)
Your phone will boot into several different modes throughout the process. Each mode may require separate drives for WMDC to talk to it.
To reset to your bootloader, pull the battery and replace it. Hold down the "Volume Down" rocker and press the power (End Call) button. The phone should boot up to the tri-color screen. If it did not, keep trying!
Your PC may not need to search for drivers at this point, but wait and see anyway, just in case
MAGDLR will work as your new bootloader, but you can always access the original tri-color bootloader if you need to.
Don't worry if you get the missing "ADB" driver warning here. Only PCs with the Android SDK properly installed will have this driver.
You must flash your new ROM from the #4 screen via USB. It is the only way and the tri-color Bootloader method won't work here.
Again, you can ignore the missing "ADB" driver if it occurs. See above x2 for explanation.
Some chefs are renaming "DAF.exe" to "Install.exe" or "ANDR_INSTALL.exe". No matter what it's named, it should be the blue icon. See your ROM thread for detailed installation instructions if you get confused here.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the plethora of information. In this case, it wasn't needed but most of the time it is
Error 262 means there is a link error between your phone and the PC. Some have solved this by re-installing ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center. Some people said it was solved by simply unplugging the phone and trying a different USB port or cable.
After installing android rom in nand, device continously reboots
I followed all your steps and installed everything (there war an error encountered while installing the rom in the last step) but when my phone boots into android, after about a minute it will just restart itself and continue the same over and over without ever fully going into android.
can you please tell me how to get over this?

It looks like the Android build you chose is either incompatible or was somehow corrupted when you downloaded it.
I suggest you delete the copy you have on your PC and download a different ROM, and then start over again.
Since there was an error, you don't want to try a fresh install without a task 29 and reinstalling hspl.
If you are using the Euro version of the HD2, don't try to install a TMOUS ROM, and vice versa. If you aren't sure, ask the chef who posted the ROM you want.
Hope this helps!

One thing that was specified but not in the steps was HSPL. If you don't have that, you can't flash.
After having a bit of problem using the original tut you reference in your first post(basically it got locked on gogogo and a variety of problems thereafter), I am very happy to report that your variation on the method not only worked for me, but worked on the first attempt. And it has thus far done so each time I have tried it since. You cannot imagine my relief after all the frustration I had previously. So just wanted to let you know how helpful I found your post. Thanks!
The only edit I would suggest is that I believe USB Flashing is option 5 now instead of 4.
FWIW I was originally on ROM 2.13.531.1 (90963) WWE with Radio 2.10.50.26(now on 2.14.50.04).

I just tried a fresh download of MAGLDR 1.11 and the option is still #4. Did you perchance grab version 1.12?
It would still work, but 1.12 gives you the additional option of installing and Windows 7 Phone ROM.
Yes on MAGLDR the option is 5 instead of 4.
Other than that, and the part about removing your sim and SD card, looks like an excellent guide.

I am updating the tutorial to reflect on the changing menu numbers, thank you!
As far as the SIM and SD card removal, I did mention that this is optional but recommended. Yes, I realize that this is from the early days of flashing and is more than likely not needed, but in my defense this is my own method and I have never, ever had a bad flash. I've owned several HTC phones going back for a few years now and have not bricked a single one. I would consider that a pretty good track record, considering the number of posters who did brick their phone and have no idea what went wrong.
In light of your input, I will re-word the OT to ensure that the "optional" part is clarified.
Oh I totally hear ya.
I've never had a bad flash either. I think that some of the "Brickensteins" just do something wrong and don't mention it (like unplugging the phone mid-flash).
In your favor, I did read in one of the WP7 tutorials that the sd card should be removed, but since I don't plan on flashing that any time soon, I'll leave that wisdom with wiser hands
Thank you very much

Ok do this hold the volume button down while powering on your HD2 and see if the multicolor bootloader screen comes up. If so you are not fubared. If you get bootloader you can save your HD2. Click on my Guide linked in my sig and read it then click the links at the top of my guide if you want to install Android or the link for WP7 if you want to install it. The links I have at the top of my guide are links to very good and extensive guide. If you want come post back here and I or others will help you and if you want to just PM me.

[Q] PLEASE HELP NEEDED - Beginner

I am trying to re-flash WIN6.5 with no luck
1. I installed HSPL2.8 and MAGDLR 1.13 with the hope of trying CWM and loading Android to NAND.
2. I used ClockworkMod Recovery to install zip from SDCard using TyphooN_CM7_v2.8.0-cLK.zip
3. Progress looked like install was completed
4. When re-booting, got message NAND Kernel open failed
I TRIED TO REFLASH MY WIN6.5 from the RED/GREEN/BLUE bootloader menu but now I do not get a valid connection via USB
The Bootloader screen shows 'USB' at the bottom and when I click the Custom_RUU.exe I used to load my Custom Win6.5 ROM I get the first screen showing the update button etc. but when I press update, the progress bar appears on the PC and my HD2 but no update actually occurs
FINALLY AFTER A FEW MINUTES I GET A 'RECOVERY SCREEN' and update failed message.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP???? I will gladly 'Donate' some beer money
when you turn on your phone hold the red power button until the magldr screen pops up then go to flash to usb then download the stock rom for win 6.5 it should be in the win6.5 development threads on XDA the rom should be a .exe file, run the file once u establish a usb connection with the computer. if you can't get on the magldr screen, try going to the boot screen ( the one with the color stripes) and re-flash your magldr or the hspl4. as long as you can get into the magldr boot screen then you should be able to flash android or winmo. hope that helps.

This couldn't be more wrong lol. You can't flash WinMo ROM's from MAGLDR, only WP7 and Android.
Anyway why don't you just try flash a different Android ROM? Even one that has a daf and not a .zip that you have through CWM.
If you do want to go back to stock though, download your stock ROM from the HTC site or T-mobile depending on which phone you have (T-mobile say t-mobile at the top and has red and green call/end buttons). Then once you've downloaded it, rename the file to .zip (should be .exe by default) then using WinRar open the file and look for a file that ends with '.nbh' in WinRar. Once you've found that file just extract it to wherever you want and rename it to 'LEOIMG.nbh'. Once you've done that, place it on the root of your SD card, then POP your SD card back in to your HD2, boot to HSPL (tri colour) and you'll come to a screen which will allow you to flash the ROM from SD and you're done.
PS. you need a 4GB or smaller SD card to flash it.
Good luck.

WOW!! for a newbie, u sure know how to go for d big guns ...Anyway according to your post, i tk it u downloaded the "TyphooN_CM7_v2.8.0-cLK.zip" file ryt?...Well in [cLK/MAGLDR]TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 RC2+ v2.8.4's thread, it tells you there are two ways to install this particular build...I'm guessing u tried installing the "TyphooN_CM7_v2.8.0-cLK.zip" thru MAGLDR-CWM instead of following Charmacas's cLk tutorial.
So in d spirit of learning, Start d whole process again (Task 29, etc), go back to the build's thread (link above), choose which method is most comfortable 2 u ( i recommend MAGLDR) and re-download the latest & APPROPRIATE build for the process or just download from the links below....
MAGLDR Method.
cLK Method.
Nw abt reflashing WinMO, U've got HSPL installed so u r good...Just perform a Task 29 (dis wipes ur phone clean, leaving ur HSPL & radio intact) from the bootloader screen...Should usb fail? unplug n try another usb port on your pc...Then simply flash ur desired WinMo ROM.

[Q] Help please with bootloader & SPL

Ok I'm trying to install NAND Android on my HD2 & have found a thread that I can follow but to get started I need to have SPL 1.42.0000, 1.62.0000, 1.66.0000, 2.07.0000, 2.08.0000 or 2.10.0000 installed & I had 3.03 having just debranded the phone using HSPL.
Now I know I have to use bootloader to downgrade which I have managed to do but now have "Not Allowed" come up on the screen, the phone just goes into tri colour & now shows SPL 1.42.0000.
I think I know the reason - this was a stock rom I downloaded from the HTC site & my phone is a TMobile UK so presumably I would need an SPL as above for the TMobile network to strat with? If so where can I get one from as HTC don't appear to have one on their site with the SPL numbers as above?
Many thanks
Junks
spls are not specific to any network.
run hspl4 choose 2.08.hspl, done.

Thanks Sam - Didn't realise that, I still have to get the phone to start though as I can't now get a connection to the PC as its stuck in tri colour mode with no USB
Plug in the cable, when "serial" becomes "USB" at bottom of bootloader screen, you're good to go. Forget you ever heard of an "activesync connection",,, it doesn't mean the activesync program, it means " USB connection"( using the activesync drivers)
Thanks again Sam, sorted that now & got HSPL4 loaded.
Need to put up another post now as stuck on the MAGLDR screen & cant get the NAND DAF to load!! I shouldn't have started this!

Use Clock Work Mode Recovery to flash your NAND Android ROM. Check my sig for a link to CWM. With CWM all you have to do is copy the .zip.file to your SD card and then use CWM to flash it. It is very easy this way. The thread on CWM will tell you how to flash it and all info need to know about it.
Thanks for that but I've only just managed to do the simpler method wrong & don't understand the CWM at all at the moment. Was just trying to get the easiest route for my first flash but after trying three NAND ROM's I get the same error after loading MAGLDR & running the DAF.exe
As MAGLDR is loading...........SS SD kernel open failed
Then after running the DAF.exe files
Happen error
Read below for more information
Error Description: Config load failed.
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (712)
Error Description: CONFIG: file not exist
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (346)
Did you get it going Junks?
Don't panic, we can fix this

Go read the thread on CWM!!! As I said you just copy the .zip file of the ROM to your SFD card wich is how you download the ROM meaning you have to only download it nothing else. To copy it to your SD card use USB MassStg option #4 of MAGLDR but you have to have your phone connected to your computer via USB cable. To flash CWM connect your HD2 via USB and select the USB Flasher option #5 of MAGLDR then run the DAF of CWM. This will flash CWM to yor HD2. when your phone reboots keep the power button pressed down to get MAGLDR back up then select AD Recovery option #8 of MAGLDR. This will bring up CWM, then select "install zip from sdcard" then select "choos zip from sdcard" then find the .zip file that you just copied to your SD card and select it and it will flash the ROM. Oh yeah you have to use the send button to select each thing. Now what else do you not understand?
Look at my signature for links to MAGLDR and CWM.

Well I thought that seemed easy to understand TMac but.................
I intalled the cleandroid zip file but I guess since it didn't work you meant extract to the SD card (CWM didnt find the cleandroid zip file)? Also is there anyway of booting normally at the moment as I think I should charge the battery again after all this trying without success before I try again?
Thanks for your patience, I'm really not used to this sort of thing at all & at 54 yrs old I think I'm doing quite well!! lol

Clean droid is also my fav rom
Assuming that you are able to boot into MAGLDR screen and you have the Cleandroid rom in your PC.
Now, in MAGLDR screen, select menu no.5 (USB Flasher) and subsequently connect your phone ( Plug UsB to PC). On your PC, run the DAF.exe of Cleandroid rom.
If you succeed, it will reboot to android.
Before doing that, please make sure battery above 50 %, spl 2.08 HSPL and radio 2.15.xx were installed.
Good luck

Thanks but tried that as posted earlier & get the happen error, now I'm not sure of the battery charge so want to charge that before trying again with CWM but can't charge it from the MAGLDR screen, tried plugging into the mains & reset but what ever I do it boots into MAGLDR & no charge
Yes MAGLDR makes your phone do that. Have you been able to flash a ROM yet no? Are you making sure your going to the 'USB Flasher' in MAGLDR? Run the daf when you're there, if you're getting that error still, make sure you disable USB connections inside of ActiveSync or WMDC on Vista/7.

I would suggest you to reflash winmo from boot loader screen using micro sd in order to be able to charge battery. After that, you can retry the android flashing
Thanks - sorry if I'm a bit thick here, so does that mean I've put the phone back to original then start the whole process over again from the beginning?
You're battery should be fine while the USB is in. It won't die on you while flashing through MAGLDR. Once the USB is in.your phone it will he fine. Silly old cautious men. haha

lol Ok I'm going to try one more time then give up!!
I have tried both methods now
Tried installing 3 different NANDS without CWM using the DAF & get the happen error with all three:
Happen error
Read below for more information
Error Description: Config load failed.
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (712)
Error Description: CONFIG: file not exist
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (346)
Tried with & without WMDC running
Then tried as suggested using CWM but after getting through all stages the last bit I get CWM Recovery files not found!! I checked the SD card & the Cleandroid winrar file is there, its there zipped & now unzipped in a temp folder (which shows on the phone) & also in the root just in case..........nothing nada zippo.............files not found.
Any last ideas before I buy a Nokia?? lol
Its really frustrating, I managed to get all the way through on both routes but can't get the ROM installed either way.
Thanks
Are you able to go in to CWM by going to AD Recovery in MAGLDR? How are you trying to flash a ROM? Go in to the settings in WMDC and make sure the USB Connections is unchecked.

Sorry man did not mean to seem rude. I just wanted to make sure you tried the CWM method as it is the easiest way to me. also yes you are doing freaking awesome considering I know your age now. Not to say older folks are illiterate or stupid just some older people have a hard time grasping new new technologies. Don't worry none my friend, like member mezcal9 posted yesterday we will get you back going.
Also do you have this, striaght from the MAGLDR OP
You need radio which support 576 RAM.

Sorry Skellyyy but yoy are wrong about this statement as you have to have a ROM runing for your battery to charge. MAGLDR does not support battery charging yet.
*Fixed Power-Off-Cable-Plug-Stop. Phone now detects this situation and reboots. Battery controller inside LEO needs runtime control during charge, it implemented in OS.

Android does not want to install!

Hello, please help me!! I wanted to install android on my new HTC HD2.
What I did:
Installed hardslp 2.08
Radio 2.15.50.14
MAGLDR 1.13
after installed magldr it sent me to it's menu. I select USB flasher and then go to my Android Rom unrared folder, i run DAF file. Then it starts to isntall something(1-3) seconds. says everything is done and thren reboot system and says "nand kernel open failed" and sends me back to menu.
i tried many times and with another Android but nothing helped! Tried to install Clockwork mode, same problem. Then tried to isntall 29 but this program did not want to install saying that it couldnt connect with HD2. I thought it is something wrong with my computer. I borrowed my friend's laptop and tried to install Android from his. Installing process took a little bit more time but the same problem: It congratulates me that everything is done then reboots, then kernel error appears for 1 sec and sends me back to main menu.
Then I deleted Sync program(windws phone something..) and tried new ROM. Now DAF program says me next:
An error has occurred
Read below for more information
Error Description: USB init failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (736)
Please help me !!
Hi,
Which ROM are you trying to install?
Which operating system have you got on your pc/laptop?
Are you right clicking on the DAF and selecting run as administrator?
Also when you go to USB Flasher and connect your HD2 to your computer are you giving a minute to establish a connection?
Give it a minute to establish connection, and try another Rom. Maybe your HD2 is 512 (EU), and you are trying to install ROM for 1024 HD2 (Tmobile US).
Did you read, maybe it is clockwork rom, not magldr?
Here is the link for MAGLDR flashing rom, stock Desire
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893620
it does not support ext partitions on sd card. But you can try another roms. And if you dont know how to flash it via Clockwork, here is the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044830
p.s. Better ROMs are that that you flash via clockwork. Study that, it is easy.
Thanks to guys who wrote that tutorials
And here are all ROMs for HD2

nand question plz1

i just put on nand rom for the first time, and i want to re-do it with american android, but when i try running magldr 1.13, it says usb not connected and i cant get past this to flash american android, any answers for this plz, ty much, error :260:
can you give us pls some more input on what you are doing exactly? Where does it get stucked, when you boot it or do you select something from the menu and then the problem with no usb connected occurs?
well when i go into magldr and try to get it to go into usb flash, so i can flash american android, it opens and i check the boxes and click next, then it scans for the usb, but it wont bring up an error, and it tells me to make sure my usb is connected and it is connected already???? im a noob at this so i cant explain to much into what im doing wrong, im just going by the steps ive read, i have android on it and it works just great, but i want a dif rom, not the stock rom i found.
when you choose usb flasher do you see:usb flasher......usb
i think americandroid is using daf method.so right click on aca.exe and run as administror.
be sure you downloded mgldr version of it (not clk)
never mind, my mistake
when i try running magldr it says error and it wont run magldr, and usb is connected, but it says it isnt...?
plz can anyone tell me what im doing wrong??? im running magldr and my hd2 is connected, but when i check the boxes in magldr and click next it looks for my pda, then says error 260 and make sure cradle/cable is plugged into pc, and it is, and it wont go into magldr so i can click usb flash drive...???
please be more specific and write your steps. what do you mean by saying ' i'm running mgldr'.have you flashed it to your phone in usb flasher mode? what are specifications of your phone.have you done these:
1)hspl 2.08
2)task 29?
3)flash mgldr
4)partition of sd
5)partition of nand by cwr

ok last night i did my first nand on my nd2, i ran the hspl, then i ran the magldr 1.13, then i scrolled down to usb flasher, then i ran the rom that the youtube link gave me, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvS4EvS0PAw then it all worked, i had android on my phone, but i dont want the rom in the youtube link, i want one from this forum american android, and i was wondering, when i go to run magldr on my nand android i flashed, it tells me error and that to check if my phone is connected, and im just trying to do what i did in the youtube video but with a dif rom, but it wont work from android, it did just fine on wm 6.5, and my phone is connected to the usb, but it tells me it isnt, but i can still transfer music and other things, but when i go to run magldr it tells me my phone isnt connected, so i cant get into magldr and scroll down to flash usb and use the rom i want to use from this site, better? plz help thanks much.
in order to go into mgldr menu power off the phone.then power on but hold down the power key until mgldr menu comes. its not necessary to reload mgldr for each rom.if you installed it to your phone now it is in it.
i left it alone, and i powered off and tried turning it back on this morning when i woke up, and it powers on and then stops on quietly briliant, it wont even go into android now, is there any way i can go back to wm 6.5? or make my phone work again? when i go into magldr in usb flasher mode and try flashing a new rom, it tells me an error has occurred, error descriptio: USB init failed info: \rspl\rspl.cpp 736??? now my phone doesnt work at all... :<

have you used the the HD2 toolkit? You can find/download from here

try wiping the phone with task29, then loading the MAGLDR or cLK / which ever nand/rom you want to use. Hopefully this works for you....

you mustn't flash new roms in mgldr-usb flasher mod.
1)just put rom.zip into sd
2)go to mgldr-ad recovery-install zip from sd-choose zip from sd-find rom in the list and choose with call button.after installation is completed reboot.
try these with that rom:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=933951

when i go into ad recovery it says no boot source???
Then you have to install cwm first.
I have had a similar problem with my phone and what worked for me was disconnecting the usb cable and plugging it back in. then it seen it as usb and i was able to flash the ROM. i know it seems rather simple but this small fix might work for you as it did for me.
if you can install cwm i would highly suggest to do that and also looking into the hd2 toolkit as someone else as already pointed out.
