I bought my Atrix on launch day after having left ATT the previous June for Sprint (Evo). Before leaving I had an iPhone 3GS with unlimited data.
I called ATT yesterday to see if a simple phone call could restore my unlimited data plan instead of having to do the iphone 2g sim card trick. Long story short, I now have unlimited data again! Here is the key piece of information that I learned.
If you EVER had unlimited data, call ATT and kindly explain that you have a BUSINESS REASON for unlimited data. It will have to get approved by a manager, but I was specifically told that "business reason" is the key words you need to use to get the switch approved.
FYI: When I left ATT the first time, we had two phones on the account. One of the numbers, my wife's, stayed on the account. So, we technically didn't quit ATT for that year since my wife stayed with ATT. Not sure if thats relevant or not.
Good Luck!
EDIT: My "Business Reasons" were that I am an IT consultant and use my Atrix for remote access to clients. The CSR was very understanding and the manager practically auto-approved the change. I don't know for sure if having had unlimited data before is required or if simply having business needs for more data are enough. Anyone else care to give it a shot?
This was a news article a few weeks ago. AT&T wants to win any customers back.
I was able to get mine back just by asking for a supervisor, no reason needed.
Yea,........that didn't work so well for me. I have been trying to get mine back for months now. I even went as far as giving them the feature code for it. Just blew me off. Talked to two different supervisors.
I called and left a message with the AT&T office lady that called me about when I complained about the HSUPA. I am hoping on Monday, I can talk her into giving me it back. (with a little HSUPA thrown in the mix).

You won't get HSUPA, that's a software update on the phone, not on your account or anything to do with the towers near you. Good luck getting it back though!

Yea, I am aware of that......she is the one that called me when I complained about the Atrix not having it. I figure while I call and ask for an update on when we will be receiving that, maybe I will hit her up for putting the unlimited data back on for me as a good deed for not giving us HSUPA right away.
I can confirm this did not work for me :'( back to 2g trick for me, if only I can find someone to let me borrow.
I really hope this works. Def will try tomorrow cuz I use to have unlimited data for my iPhone but when I switched over to the Attic they forced me to get rid of it! Blower!

If you had unlimited data for your iPhone and switched to the Atrix and maybe were told by a rep in an AT&T store that for some reason you couldn't keep it, you were fooled. I'd go back into an AT&T store.... possibly a different one, and inquire about it. I had a whole mess to go through when i activated my Atrix (ordered it with one of my parent's upgrades, so i wouldn't have to pay full price).... and at first it was activated under my mom's number.... so they had to reassign her iPhone to her number, then when they assigned the Atrix to my number, she showed me the overview of the services for my phone number, at which point i noticed that it was no longer under the unlimited plan. She called someone, and mentioned this to them..... and they changed it over on their end. I guess they might have a way of looking up whether or not you actually did have it previously.... but either way, you SHOULD have been able to keep your unlimited plan. I think even when i thought about pre-ordering it online before it's release, it had the unlimited data plan in the list and auto-selected.

I thought that was the case. I called AT&T and told them that I use to have unlimited data and told them that I usually go over 2gb before my cycle is up and after talking to several reps, they finally reactivated it! Thanks a lot for this thread because having only 2gb of data a month was really starting to aggravate me...

HAHAHA! I hate autocorrect on this phone sometimes.... #FAIL
That's why i like Swype. type Atrix in manually.... and it remembers it. TADA!
Not to mention after a few uses, it's easy as hell.... and quite often more accurate than the multitouch keyboard. so used to typing really quick with my ex-iPhone 4 and having auto-correct fix some minor mistakes..... then going to Android's multitouch keyboard which seems to have not much of any autocorrect for most stuff.... found myself using the backspace button rather often.

what did you do to get this done? can you give us some details?
In his comment on the previous page, he said when he bought his Atrix, he was told he could not keep his unlimited plan, which was a lie. That's it... Plain & simple. Not some workaround... Just fixing a mistake by an ill-informed representative.

Unlimited data plan for Atrix with tethering? Is it possible?
Hi - I just moved from iphone 4 unlimited data to Atrix 4G and was told that, in order to add tethering, I couldn't have unlmited data anymore. Does anybody know if there is a way around this? I wanted to add tethering so i could get rid of my dedicated USB modem (and the $60/month charge) and, hoping to see 4G speeds sooner rather than later on the atrix, an Atrix Hotspot would give me better speeds than the USD modem.
I know you can go unlimited iphone to unlimited Atrix but can you do that and have tethering? Any advice would be appreciated.
Only way to tether and have unlimited is with one of the workarounds. Not exactly sure what they are though. unlimited + tethering from AT&T themselves would be like voluntary network suicide.

so did anyone else get this to work besides main poster?
i shall take some advice from here as i will soon be getting "the worlds most powerful smartphone". on a 2GB cap. what kind of ****ery is that. but i guess.
i will go a month with the 2 GB cap, then call in enraged that i only have a 2GB cap. lol. see how it goes.

hey guys starting the 20 of this month most data plans will be changed... lots of things are happening and the worst part is now the customer will be held liable for data used under the wrong plan so for all the people i have helped over the past couple and the people on the media max plan months PLEASE PM me so i can change things for you come the 20th. i just found out about these changes today and also you will no longer be able to add medianet unlimited or mediamax plans with a PDA IMEI... again if you have a mediamax plan you will be held liable for any and all data usage on a "wrong feature" if you have the 39.99 pda plan or any media max plan PM on or after the 20th so i can make sure that you dont get screwed over by the company... also while im at it please do not PM because you went over on something and need credit on your account.. please just PM me if you need me to make changes to your account also if your going to PM me the things i need right off the bat are
PHONE NUMBER!!!!!
the name of the account
and the last four of the social..
... im not very active on the board but i always try to reply to my PM's...
Umm, What?
Do you work for att or something. How you going to make changes to my account? Does this affect plans that have been grandfathered over from cingular? I would expect some sort of message from ATT before i got charged ANYTHING extra. i already pay 79.95 a month. If i get screwed there will be hell to pay for ATT.
Ummm

n00bs! Use the search bar!
Yeah he does. He changed plans around for people here so that they could use the 19.99 MEdiaMax plan on their 8525. Pretty nice of him, made it easy for those who wished to do so. I did it by myself on the internet site and I had it for close to a year...actually I just cancelled it and installed nodata so that I could save a few pennies (financial situations...)
Anyway, you're fine. If you have the correct plan for your phone then no worries...it's for us that gave the fist to AT&T and paid for a cell phone data plan on a PDA.
@Gynga...
Man that sucks! I've heard about the IMEI sweeps before but I never had a problem. All the people that did get caught just played naive and got credited back... Looks like you've got some work to do!
The good news I think is that some of the plans went down by 5 bucks or so...
I guess when I go back to using cell data I've got to get the official plan.... bummer...
Why can't you just **cough**change your IMEI to an old broken phone you have laying around**cough**?

More power to you broth'a. AT&T has just swallowed up my hometown wireless carrier Edge Wireless, and i am totally not looking forward to their grip on data and squeezing us customers for every fraction of change they can get

thanks for the support on the matter and yes data plans are droppi9ng the new PDA unlimited will be 30 but have no messaging andif you do want messaging its now 5 bux more than it was before... also the 5mb of data will be taken away so starting on the 20th it will be 1500 messages for 15 bux.. in my opinion the customer is getting screwed over on this one. i think that the changes were made to stop reps from flipping features there have been alot of internal changes to stop the flipping going on everywhere it sucks cuz i can still be flipped and get chargebacks but if i flip i dont get paid... oh well al good things must come to an end... to be fair if the people i helped out wanna make the changes come the 20th they will have first priority... but everyone that PM's me will get helped....

please help me spread the word by posting this on the other phone model boards as weel or if i can even get an admin to sticky my first post on the boards so ppl know and get screwed over hard i would really appreciate your help
Okay what about the Unlimited smartphone would we have problems with that? I just want to make sure I don't spend an extra $20 if I don't have to.
When I got my MDA I went to a Kiosk where a friend works and he added MediaMax + Unlimited M2M txt for for a certain amount. That Kiosk is no longer there but the plan was added by an ATT Employee and not by me online, will my plan still change on the 20th? If so I'll have an MDA and an 8525 for sale shortly. I'll get out of the PDA phone market completely and buy a Shine or some other trendy slide phone.
Ok i have a question. The screen the at&t people use at the store and when I call in show me having my old samsung d807. I had the unlimited data $20 plan on that phone. I bought my 8525 out right about 8 months ago and have been using it ever since and the at&t people still see my d807. So are you saying soon they will see my 8525? i switch back and forth between the 2 phones every week. I use the d807 if Im going out for a night of hard partying and usally keep the sim in till the battery dies. How will at&t know which phone Im using if they dont know right now?
So if I am reading this right, this will only affect people that are on any of the Media Bundle plans not the people that are on the PDA plans?
Is this correct?
Gary
I think I was misunderstood... Say I have an old broken RAZR, If I were to CHANGE the IMEI on my 8525 to the one from my RAZR, would AT&T still know which phone I was using?

Att has a database of most (if not all) the IMEIs they have sold in stores/online. This can be confirmed by checking your online account. Anytime I change my sim into an ATT branded phone, it automatically updates on the account. The good news is that they can't tell foreign identifier, like my HTC TyTN, so as far as they are concerned - I have a razr. Their data plans are still absurd. The fact that the 3G network does not support video calls is also absurd. They milk the ignorant consumers for any $ they can. Go figure.

I work for AT&T too. The 3G network does support video calls but you need the right phone to do it. I'm pretty sure the sync, a737, and the slim can do it. But of course, you have too add it onto your plan. From what I've been told, WM6 was suppose to let us do video calls also, but I haven't seen it yet.
And Gyngabread Man, my hat is off to you, way to tap the feature market!

Hey thanks for the heads up! I have an iphone as well as my 8525 and i switch them out regulary, the sim card. Is there anything you can do for the iphone?
Thanks
I bought a PDA unlimited plan for 39.99, AT&T charged me but didn't put me on the plan, then sends me a bill for $1700 for one month of using the 8525 on the medianet plan! After initialy saying they can't do anything about it, when I screamed and shouted at them, they finally cancelled the charges.
Then the same problem happened the next month!
I'm now living in dread of the third bill.

I don't think you're right there - I bought a 3125 when I switched to AT&T - the only phone "they know" I have. However, everytime I switch the sim to my HTC TyTN (Not the 8525 - the TyTN) it automatically updates and reads I have an 8525 - it's strange though - it almost never updates the otherway - I can have the sim in the 3125 for a week and my online account will still read I'm using an 8525 - I think there system is designed to show you using the phone which has the greatest possible data consumption possible so they can bilk you on plans or something
Switch to T-Mobile -- Get a Mac
Ok just joking about getting a mac.
I'm looking to get the Evo but the $10 a month Premium data-add on is something that is holding me back. What I am trying to figure out is whether this is actually required by the phone or not. I was told back in the days that the Blackberry Internet Service was "required" for activation, yet I easily activated the phones without the internet plan, and I was even able to activate a few with the internet plan then go back and remove the internet plan and it still worked! I to this day don't believe Sprint when they tell me something won't work, so I'm trying to find a solution to this. Is there anyway the command forcing the phone to search to see if the subscriber has the data add on can be accessed? Would it be a file or a command? And wouldn't I just be able to do what I did with my Blackberry's in the past and just cancel the premium data add on after activation and keep the phone working like normal?
Another user explained to me that a user on these forums: Toast is working on some sort of solution to this?
I'm pretty sure no. As with the pre and hero I think the sprint system knows the imei for the phones and will require this. Looking in my account, I can see the premium data plan, and It does not let me remove it. If there's some special way, who knows, but I don't think I've heard of one yet.
I'm actually ok with the premium data plan. It means that less people ran for the phone (which means I got one easy) and it means less people jamming the network with one, which leads to higher speeds for me lol... Sprint's always been good to me otherwise. I can eat the 7.70 a month I have to add on.
You must have the plan or your phone disactivates.
It's worth it, free Telenav and sprint tv, plus 4g

Speed alone is worth it. If that doesn't sell you I read somewhere a plan pricing comparison and Sprint with the +$10 plan is still cheaper than most services out there when it comes down to it.

The free sprint TV is crap, but the navigation seems very good!
But...Navigon will be releasing an android nav app this year, so that will make it useless, lol
Basically if you don't get 4G or don't need it...it's just an extra crap fee.

This is pure blind luck. When the Blackberry add-on was still sold by Sprint, not having it on the account was possible...but lead to a great deal of issues. Blackberry devices can and will check the web often. If you dind't get hit with data charges. Some people did. Some people's phones couldn't even make phonecalls without the pack.
And just for reference, the price of that add-on was set by RIM, NOT by Sprint.

Half true. There's no way to remove the feature as every Rep knows that it has to be there.
Of course if you do manage to find a way to remove the feature you'll end up paying MORE, so that's probably not in you r best interest!
Personally, I rarely use 4g. It has major penetration issues (know I'm going to hear more on that phrase!) but considering I'm at 1.3GB since the 27th of last month on this thing, odds are good I'll reach and/or exceed the 5gb cap that typiccally accompanies this kind of gear. $10 to allow me to use the phone as much as I want, in whatever way I want?
Sold.
I don't see the big issue. I came from AT&T paying $250 a month. This is nothing to worry about.
you can get this phone on $70/month plan. google slickdeals, check their hotdeals foroums. it's there.

yeah, but you can get nav on the evo from google maps....
I think it's a ripoff to charge an extra $10 that most of the country can't access yet for some reason, people still pay it.
I originally was upset by the $10 surcharge, however, after using the Evo for a weekend I consume WAY more data on it than any other phone I've used. Its so hard not to. I almost prefer browsing on it compared to my laptop, YouTube is great, and Maps and Navigation on the big screen is a joy to use. Besides, Sprint's plans are still a hell of a lot better than the competition, even with the extra fee.
So is there a definitive answer whether the 3g is truly unlimited or is it only 4g? There seems to be conflicting answers everywhere.

From CNET News: "If the thought of having to pay for 4G without actually getting 4G makes you mad, it might be some slight consolation that there will be no data cap associated with the Premium Data add-on, regardless of whether you're using 4G or 3G, according to Phone Scoop."
Long story short, I changed my cellphone to N1 last month from my old Nokia 5800 XM with the unlimited $15 data plan. Not surprisingly, they forced the $25 dollars smartphone data plan on me soon after I swapped the sim card.
But considering I use wifi mainly on my phone, I called today to downgrade my data plan to the $15 200mb tier as the option doesn't show up in my online account feature section. And apparently, the lady on the phone doesn't know her business too much. She asked me what phone model I was using several times and asked me if it's a smart phone. I had to articulate word by word "google. nexus. one." to her so she could put it down. Before that, she just assumed I was using an iPhone, lol. And also she sounded quite confused about the data plans AT&T has. After some long wait on hold, she cheerfully told me she successfully changed my data plan to $15. So I logged into my account and surprisingly found out the feature of my data plan is:
Data Unlimited: Quick Messaging/Basic Phones
AT&T Recommends $15.00 N/A Unlimited Current
Didn't the honest me just tell her that I was using a nexus one and it's a smart phone? I guess she really doesn't know too much about phone tech even though she works as a customer service rep for AT&T. But I don't blame her for that. Well, even though if somehow in the future they find out there's some mistake and revoke the change, I wouldn't mind because I don't use that much 3g data anyway.
I wouldn't go out of my way, but if that force you to upgrade or realize the error just know it's the correct charge.
Wow you got an awesome plan that is hard to get anymore. Nice
Not a bad plan! Hopefully it will last...
yea i hope it lasts for you too. hey guys on a side note. is that whole "Google charing you on your phone bill" option in place already? because im buying apps and oddly enough, my AT&T bill is coming up $10-$40 dollars extra for the past 3 months
also....since we both got AT&T.....you happen to have her rep number? i wanna call and try to get her so i can try my luck with her
Oh everyone, I guess I spoke too soon. This morning I found out they changed my plan to $25 again. I guess it's the system automation.
I called them again and this time the Guy there apparently know I'm using a HTC phone. But still he couldn't change my plan as he needed me to call from another phone to get the IMEI number. I guess I'll try to call again then.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Yeah that's what has been happening to everyone else. The system automatically sweeps accounts and puts the correct data plan. Oh well.

Not if you're on an old att "blue" plan
* Orig att wireless, pre cingular
best of luck in getting it changed, I was tempted to jump to iphone 4 but would like to have the unlimited data. On local carrier I have the nexus one with a $14.99 unlimited data & unlimited text, tough to find another carrier that can do that.
So I went in to swap my iPhone 3gs for an Atrix and laptop dock. As a long time customer I've ad my $30 unlimited data plan for years. The sales guy says no problem, it will transfer over to the Atrix. So I buy it and the dock and off I go. Phone works fine, data works fine on the phone... until I plug it in. Then nada. I get a nasty gram saying I don't have an appropriate data plan and please call AT&T. So now they want to ding me $45/mnth for the limited data cap instead of my $30/mnth unlimited. Is there any workaround for this? Can you enable mobile hotspotting on the Atrix and have the wireless pick it up?
Second issue... the guy told me you can install apps into your webtop. I can't find any way to do that, so I'm guessing he meant into the mobile OS? I hate having to run Skype, etc; in that lower rez window rather than as part of the Webtop.
Thanks,
Paul
The guy didnt really "lie" to you...he just didnt really tell you the whole story:
Yes you can kee pyour $30/unlimited data plan, but you need the $45 tethering plan to use the laptop dock outside of WIFI.
there are ways to use your unlimited data + tethering by switching your APNs around. Check out the sticky in the development section it has lots of goodies for you.
and no, you cant install apps to webtop
As far as installing "apps" they are referring to using web apps like google docs. Which is a joke.
If you root your Atrix you can install some ARM debs, but you'll need to be careful. I have xFreeRDP running on my webtop, but it isn't without quirks.
Thanks, appreciate the pointers. I am still annoyed But if the right apk can do it then I will shut up
I had a similar issue. I have an unlimited data plan with AT&T also. They also told me I could keep it. But I didn't buy the dock. However, after a few days with my new Atrix I received a text msg from AT&T stating that I was being charged for data, by the MB. WTF?
It turned out that AT&T messed my account all up and deleted my unlimited data plan. It took a couple of long phone calls, and finally a trip to the local AT&T store to get my unlimited data plan put back and the accumulated data charges removed.
I finally managed to keep my unlimited plan. The reps will tell you that its not possible, but you have to make a big enough stink about it and they will escalate it to some one who can do it.

No they won't. It's standard practice to keep the unlimited data plan, and we get more money from it, so it's in our advantage to keep you on the unlimited. Please don't spread lies.

So why change it in the first place, I don't understand?

Lies!
If it's standard practice, why did they automatically drop me to the 2GB plan?
Why did I then have a 1 hour phone call after I discovered this, because they didn't tell me, to be grandfathered in with my unlimited plan again. I had to wait for the rep to get her manager to give me unlimited back, and then they called me back to let me know. "Standard practice" appears to be "whatever we feel like doing at that moment" to AT&T!
(Oh, and I came over from the dark side also...............iPhone 3GS)
Apparently some of the sales people are idiots... and don't actually look into things. On it's launch day, there were a LOT of topics in here about people not being able to keep their unlimited plan or some crap..... I never had an issue with it. When i went down to AT&T to have them switch around the stuff for the phone (since i used one of my parent's upgrades to buy my Atrix), the unlimited plan was accidentally removed from my account, but the lady there called some number... not sure exactly what number or where it was, but had my unlimited plan back within minutes and was using my new phone.
But yea.... can't install apps to the laptop dock. It has no memory. It's a $500 screen, keyboard, battery, and touchpad in a slimline shell.
Not true at all. When I bought my Atrix, they couldn't keep my data plan and made no effort to try. I had to call 611 and raise hell to get it back. QUOTE=link12245;12705329]No they won't. I didn't have a problem when I got my Atrix two days ago, granted I was patient and asked every question possible and watched while my salesperson enter the data on the system.
Maybe the people who got the runaround got a sketch salesmen that wasn't trained enough

Umm...yes they absolutely will. I got **** for 3 months about them accidentally removing my data plan and being supposedly unable to put it back on. My dad works for the company and I was on Military Suspension (meaning I had my account suspended on purpose because I was on deployment). I got back and they had removed my unlimited data. They told me repeatedly it wasn't possible to put it back on, despite the reason I lost it being their mistake, my dad working for the company, and me being a veteran (not saying it should be a factor, necessarily, but considering they took it off by making a mistake...).
Eventually got to a tech that said he would help. Took about 20 seconds.
AT&T Mobility is a complete joke. Customer Service reps will do anything and everything to keep you from the unlimited plan. You can't possibly say that's not true because I've experienced it more times than you could count and I'm guessing many people on this forum have.
Oh, and in that time I'd spoken to normal CSRs, managers, and even a division head (so they said). They all said it's not possible to retain the unlimited data plan once you had lost it. I got an apology from all of them since *they* were the ones that removed it on accident, but no help in returning it.
Then I demanded to speak to a tech, and the guy did it in 20 seconds without even asking what happened. AT&T Mobility is a joke.
Anyone else running into the data plan change problem? I have a Grandfathered Unlimited data plan, however when ordering the new phone I was forced to select a plan most similar to the one I have due to LTE 4G. Well it did say Premier Personal Unlimited Data so I selected it. I called twice and talked to AT&T reps before fully checking out online for the pre-order. I just now actually activated the phone and the rep said he did not have the clearance to put me back on the Unlimited plan so I would have to wait up to 10 days, though he said it usually only takes a couple days. He opened a case and wrote notes. The case supposedly will be escalated to the next tier of support to get my Unlimited back. For now I got stuck on 3GB. Anyone else run into this?
My understanding is if you wanna keep unlimited then you wouldn't be able to access the LTE side.

Not true at all. You can get lte unlimited. I have it. But they will cap you 5gb I think. I do have lte where I live so I would know. Granted I buy my phones outright so I don't deal with plans and all that bs. I know best buy can keep your current plan and pretty sure att.com does it to. If you were forced I would have canceled the order personally. Call att. If you did already select a new plan it can not be undone.

Ya when I got my SGS3 I kept my unlimited data. It was nice since it raised from Unlimited Data plans to where I am throttled at 5Gb rather than the 3Gb for my SGS2. Plus when I got throttled for the 5Gb I just had to change my APN to the huspa+ APN and get another 3Gb unthrottled. I am sure it will be the same here.
OP and future people what I have ALWAYS done is while I am at Walmart/Radio Shack and upgrading my phone I would call ATT during it to MAKE SURE my data plan wasn't changed in the first place. So far it has always worked for me this way.

So my AT&T plan is a good fit for me right now. I have DataPro 2GB (25$) and 1000 texts (10$). I get my Galaxy S4 in the mail and I go to activate it using some AT&T automated system online. When I do that my old phone deactivates and my new phone activates as expected. I give it some time to complete on the back end but after several hours I can make calls but I still can't text or use data.
I stop by AT&T on the way home and ask about what might have happened, they tell me that I have no data plan, and I have no texting plan. I explain the earlier events and that I was using this very data/text plan on my old phone earlier today. They tell me they can't do anything and suggest I call support. I go home and call support.
"Customer service" says no-can-do but offers me a 3GB plan for 30$ and unlimited text for 20$. This is 15$ more a month (obvious bull**** is obvious). I explain that this is unacceptable. When I chose to upgrade my phone I also chose (using their online pre-ordering form) to keep my existing rate plan. It explain that it even lists the two items on the new contract (which I had to dig around on their site to even find).
Finally after a lot of "customer service" bull**** where they fake empathy and try to just make you go away, I get transferred to the guys who get **** done...
Within two minutes the problem was fixed. Took me three hours wading through salesmen and customer service tards.
If there is some LTE limitation I'll upgrade to the 3GB plan, but as of right now it looks completely normal.

When I ordered the phone I clicked "keep current plan." When I set up the phone they took away the unlimited data. I just had to call and ask for it back.
This is my THIRD LTE device on the grandfathered unlimited data plan, it's not going anywhere as long as I keep paying for it! If someone "forces" you to choose, whether it is in store or online, then you need to find an alternative, and that usually means finding someone who knows what they're doing and not their first day out of training....
Just checked today, I am back on Unlimited Data! Woo hoo!

The best buy system was trying to do the same for me. I had her call and verify I was keeping my unlimited data and I was. Somehow that dummy removed our family text in the process though. So I went to my buddy at att to fix that and verify my data didn't change and it said LTE unlimited data...

Yeah they cannot force you off.... if you selected keep same plan and they changed it they need to fix it. At&t is trying really hard to get people off the unlimited data plan....I tell all the peeps I help to NEVER take it off (unless they really want to).... and that every time they speak with an att rep. to expect them to try and get them off of it..

I got my S4 yesterday at the local AT&T store and today when I went to check my account online I saw that as of next June 15 I will be moved from the unlimited data plan to the unlimited LTE plan. This happened with no intervention from me at all.

all my other services where kept and no change in monthly payments.
How bad is the data speed throttling on LTE? I know ATT is bad for throttling unlimited data but just wondering what the speeds drop down to on LTE these days.
