Hey,
I have HTC HD2 not T-mobile version, previously I used an android SD rom darkstone SuperRAM FroYo v1.5, but I want to have a NAND rom, because using SD is not comfortable. Can any1 suggest me which rom to choose? Last rom was stable and fast, I need something like that.
Thanks for the answers guys.
NexusHd2 is my favorite rom
Best NAND in my opinion. It is extremely responsive and fast.

find one that fits your own needs by testing them all.

I have looked many time on this site and others trying to find a good link for 2.2 for my hd2. I did find one and it did not load correctly. If someone could help with a good link that would be awesome. you can email link to jrsgvr4 at live.com. Thank you in advance.
Quite a few good solid and stable 2.2 and 2.3 sense and non sense versions, I like sense and recommend the rom in my sig or don't be lazy and use the search or just look!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found myself in the same problem a couple months ago.
What I use is: darkstone SuperRAM FroYo v1.5
link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=870518
This is the most stable build I have used. (My opinion)
I have tried Android 2.2 with HTC Sense but some apps don't work and is very laggy.
If you still want to try Sense, use: [7 Mar][DL Desire v4.32.44.12][Sense Re-Engineering with RAM][Simply FAST]
link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881937
I have not tried Gingerbread (2.3) and won't for a while because most apps aren't compatible with Gingerbread:
If you want Gingerbread (2.3), use: [MAR 05] AmeriCanAndroid AOSP HD2 GB233 CM7|bkup2sdext234 [KERNEL:AmCanAndroid r3.01]

SD Card builds vs NAND builds:
Using SD builds is safer than NAND builds. This is because you can go back to Windows Mobile quickly if for some reason you don't want somebody to know you have Android on your phone.
Personally, I use SD builds so I don't have to go through the risk of bricking my HD2 while flashing a NAND build on it.
RAM (SD CARD) Builds:
Builds that use RAM to run Android are theoretically faster than NAND builds.
RAM is a faster memory compared to NAND memory.
Plus, SD Builds that use RAM don't stress the SD Card and make the phone hot/shorten the SD Card's life.
If you have anymore questions, reply to me.
Why would you ask this question on a development website? Where people make ROM's? Obviously just look in the development section.
A little more info needed, do you have MAGLDR or are you booting from SD?
Hello everyone,
A few days ago I switched to Android in nand,
I first have Android on sd,
I really like, and I have already changed many of the latest rom releases.
All very nice but, probably because it is very advanced, none is fully functional.
I'm looking for advice
I would like an Android Rom Easy, fast, reliable, fully functional, and with the sense (Not Sense 3.0)
What would you recommend?

Hi,
Check for froyo ROMS here:
http://android.hd2roms.com/
if you want real speed and having no problem then you can use pongster's or tyween's cyanogen mod roms.Roms having sense are slower, they are also bigger in memory and eat more battery.
uh, try CMYLXGOs Stock Desire HD , or HD2 CoreDroid HD GB 2.3.3 V2.1, both of them a good, but in my phone, i think CMYLXGOs rom has longer battery life.
I'd recommend imilka's Gingerbread Sense.
i just bought htc hd2 i installed wp7 on nand memory
and i wannna install android on sdcard and i dont want to try several roms
so what do you think is the most stable rom and the best one ?
and is there an official cm7 for hd2 ?
CM7, very stable and very good
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957652
most of the roms are pretty stable, the hd2 has been running android for a good while, plenty of time to work the bugs out. the sense 3.5 roms are still buggy, but everything else runs pretty good, aside from maybe little things here n there

I like this one, I tried quite a few of the roms, and I used this one the longest, the battery life on this is pretty and everything is pretty stable.
Hello all
I ve tested some releases on sd card, those drain all my battery, so i ve decided to go a nand rom.
But i need a clean release without any tweak (exept those for hd2) with SENSE.
And really simple to instal (win .exe maybe)?
Which release can you recommend to me?
TIA
(I have an eurpean one)
Energy Desire HD is the best nand rom with sense go to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733649

There are loads of SD Sense ROMs? Just look for pretty much anything by MCCM or BoxMax, you can find Sense 3.0, 2.0, 2.1 and 3.5. I would recommend Sense 2.0 as the best (Froyo), it's almost as fast and stable as the average CM7/MIUI/AOSP ROM.
i would go with Team Blue droid.
phenomenal rom and super fast,
used to be a fan of energy series, but
would occasional hiccups here and there.
Good luck!

It all depends. If you're like me and have a EU HD2, your nand memory is small so I suggest a gingerbread build with data on ext. I have tried a number of nativesd including a couple of Tytung's but for me they are too slow for daily use.
Perhaps I am spoilt as I was running WP7 before which is lightning fast. Also you don't need a super fast sd card with WP7.
With the NDT rom, it is MIUI which I really like and also the FM radio works. I use Barnacle for tethering which is fast, as long as you don't mind only WEP security. Speed is pretty good, I am using a class 10 Lexar microsd card. Have not tested the GPS much. I'm using the Tytung kernel version.
Again if its performance you are after, WP7 seems like it was made for this phone, as much as I love android...
Maybe someone will add something else
same here
I am in need of one cause my hd2 movistar spain is really buggy to the point that when I hard reset it the accounts stay my device! Please this is my first HTC so please be gentle. LOL
well, fast and stable builds - it's a nand roms. This is a rule.
So, look at hyperdroid(2.3.7) and one of my projects(4.0 125 mb system). If u wanna later versions of android...u should have more memory for system and data, i think.
