I have moved to the thunderbolt, but love the desk clock from the droidx with the ability to touch anywhere on the screen and snooze the alarm, but also able to clear the notification from the notification bar to cancel the alarm. Is there anyway to export this so it will work on the thunderbolt?

The Motorola clock relies on parts of blur to function, so I'm not sure it's possible to use on the Thunderbolt
Thanks I was hoping. I hate being asleep trying to find one small button to snooze the alarm

You could try though, use root explorer to copy the apk to your SD card, and then install it on your thunderbolt

I can not add alarm entry on my Android install. Is this an unkown issue?
Where should I report bugs?
Download app called zedge ringtones & wallpaper
search for alarm ringtones choose the ones you want and assign it to alarm

thanks a lot. it works
now that alarm works, but I can't/don't know how to stop it when it goes off.
Did you delete the HTC lockscreen? Have to delete the HTCWorldClock as well and install default clock or an alarm app from market...
...from the XDA app on my HD2
my install does not have any HTC software. it is a plain Froyo build. I have the default clock/alarm installed. But I am using LauncherPro though. I didn't see an option to stop the alarm.
I ran into that today I hit something on the screen that hid the dismiss button had to set another alarm for it to appear and turn it off

I don't even see the dismis buttons. I don't see way to stop the alarm :-(
Which group version of froyo you on I'm on darkstone froyosense v1 clean

I am on darkstone HD2Froyo V2.1 (18-August-2010). Any workaround to stop the alarm? right now I have to turn off the phone to stop it.

Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

+1 - I'm using Alarm Clock Plus v2 from Market. No problem dismissing alarms with it.
I might be the only one that doesn't like the notification bar with the quick access menu and list of recently used apps. I prefer the old version coupled with using widgetsoid instead to have only the settings I want/need, and not take up half the pull-down menu with the recent apps.
Is it possible to revert only the notification bar, or delete the quick access/recent apps options?
Not sure but i love that bar it makes finding the app I use most often ez like wifi tether.

True, but how is it any different than holding down the home button for 2 seconds?
Its really not in any way but i always forget that you can hold down the home button for 2sec but i am constantly reminded where my recent apps are every time i get a text, email or missed call...... Maybe thats just me though i can see how you would not like it.

Yeah I hate that new pull down bar it was a good idea but I'm so use to using the home key that even on a GB ROM I still use the home key

Damn, assuming that no response can only mean that it's impossible. That's a shame, really liked sense beyond this issue.
Anybody know of an app besides executive assistant that puts info on your lock screen. Like mail, calender appointments and so on.

i use WidgetLocker. it works great and basically lets you put any widget, or application shortcut on the lock screen as well as custom sliders.

I haven't had anything I wanted to put the lock screen widget locker couldn't handle. Custom sliders is icing on the cake

+1 widget locker. Dev is quick to fix problems that arise. Like fingerprint issue was fixed in a couple days after bug was found

Is there a way some could extract the lockscreen from QQ Launcher or recommend a lockscreen that is very similar to it? I tried to get some off the market but those never override the system lockscreens. I was hoping for a apk or even a zip for one.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
I dont know what that lock screen is but i use menu lock which gives you 8 buttons. You pull the button over to open an app that you have assigned. I also use No Lock which is an app that keeps your phone from using its lock. Together it makes it to where the only lock i see is menu lock.
It is the best app i have of the over 100 i now have and the well over 500 i have tried.
Good luck.

Thanks for replying.... I forgot all about No Lock. I think I know how to get the lockscreen that I want.

Yup NoLock is great I use it to text at school and don't want an unlock screen lol
Sent from my SPH-D700
Well I think I spoke to soon. I can't disable the system's lockscreen. Even with No Lock enabled. I downloaded the QQ Launcher just for the lockscreen so that I could use it with Go Launcher. It works sometimes, but Im still getting my old system lockscreen. Its gotta be a way to disable the system lockscreen.

Hi, right now while the screen is locked, the notification bar cannot be accessed. Is there anyway to either 1) enable notification bar or 2) show notifications on lockscreen like iphone style? (for this I've tried lockerpro but its buggy, no passwords). Thank you!

As is the case with most Android apps, there’s a standard version, which offers a taster, and a full version which pitches a few tasty additional extras only available once you’ve parted with your money. In this case, the full version will allow you to display full notification text, set individual settings for each app and tailor the experience to the nth degree by choosing themes for the notifications and setting custom vibration patterns.
Just downloaded iphone notifications.. on google play..

Thanks, but i forgot to mention, is there any app that shows full text messages from whatsapp in notifications?
