[Q] how to set up app2sd?

can anybody post a link for a tutorial on how to configure app2sd for custom ROM.
I tried formating the SD to form an EXT partion and upgraded it to ext4 but when I loaded AuraxTSense I can't transfer my apps to my SD via the internal app manager.
Maybe there sumthing I'm missing...

Need Help with SD card Partitioning (From Openfire to CM)

Hi Guys,
I was using Cynagenmod. I wanted to try Openfire. So i partitioned my SD card to ext3.
But now i again want to go back to CM. So, What partition should i do so that App2SD will work...

You don't need to do anything for app2sd in CM because it is built in. but if you want app2ext flash darktremor patch.

i think darktermor is already present in Openfire.. so i just need to partition the SD to ext and install openfire???

You can easily change, modify partitions, using Ubuntu 10.1 Live:
http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download
Make example a bootable USB stick, and you can do anything, with your partitions
My Wildfire with Cyangenmod works great...with Fat32 + Ext2 partitions
I made it with gParted

[Q] How to install A2SD+?

Hello all XDA community,
Is there a way to install A2SD+ on a ROM?
For example, I've got the gauner1986 Desire HD Rom and I would like to install more applications but there is a lack of memory.
I've see that A2SD+ can mount an ext2 or ext3 SDcard partition in order to extend memory.

[Q] Froyo App2sd method: how to backup or wipe?

Hi all,
i wrote here cause i think it's not a general question.
I use CM 6.1 as my daily rom and I erased my EXT partition in favor of the original froyo app2sd method.
Now I have a problem. The recovery ( amon 1.7 ) can backup the ext partition. How can i backup the app2sd folder created by froyo on the FAT partition of the sd? And what's happen if I change the rom without removing the android_secure folder and its data?
I want to try the new GB roms but i want a working Froyo backup with all my apps...
How can i do?

[Q] App2SD / A2SD+ ?

Hi guys
I'm trying to move apps to sd on my friend's spica and it keeps giving me 'failed to move'.
Using CM6.1
SD formatted and partitioned using Clockwork Recovery.
Any tips/ideas?
Also, is there any A2SD+ script that works on Spica/CM6.1 like darktremor?
