Ok, I really screwed up my phone badly and I am hoping someone can help me out. Basically, my original goal was to change the Radio because it keeps making static noise when someone calls me or I call someone. Anyways, I tried changing it but when I went into the BootLoader (Tri color) screen and USBed it. The CustomRUU.exe still didn't recognize it. So I just gave up and was like I'll deal with the noise...
Now, I saw that tyween released a new patch. I plan on installing it like my normal plan was which was, Boot AD NAND, which launches into CWM and then I do back up, install zip , restore old stuff. Pretty simple.
ANYWAYS, the issue is, when I did it this time, some error about NAND file failed or something along those lines so what I did when I googled the solution was to install WMC 6.5 onto my computer which now recognized the MAGDLR device (phone) when I did the option USB Flasher. Once opening USB Flasher, I installed this (http://www.multiupload.com/LVJEZV8MZV) and it seemed everything works.
Problem is, when I boot with the Boot AD NAND, it boots with the new tyween but all my data that I had before was lost. I tried to see what the issue was, but when I go into Boot AD NAND, it loads the ROM; NOT CWM like it used to, instead CWM is booted under the option Boot AD SD card option. If I look at my micro SD card:

You can see that all my previous files are still there.
Basically, my issues are:
1) How do I get CWM to load when I select the Boot AD NAND?
2) How do I reverse everything and hopefully get my data back, I was hoping to have a backup from the clockwork recovery folder but my hopes aren't high, just hoping that my partition of the new ROM didn't over-write the old one which means I can delete it and hopefully still have my old stuff.
For those who read everything, thanks for doing so and I hope you can all help me =/
Willing to donate to anyone that can help. =/

1.)CWM will not load under Boot AD NAND EVER!!
MAGLDR 1.3 had CWM built in under option 8. AD RECOVERY, you do not need it under BOOT AD SD.
2.)Unless you did a backup in CWM of your old ROM, there is no way to restore your data. If you did a backup, go into CWM, choose backup/restore, advanced restore, then choose and reboot after.

Whenever I turn my WIFI on, nothing ever happens... But if I turn it on and reboot my phone the WIFI ICON appears and seems to be working... What can be causing this?
This just started happening when I switched to the new Kernel GK-0.31
Thanks in advanced.
It looks like there is a bug with the new kernel package and users of 1.5 ROMS. If you're comfortable with this, here's what i would try:
Nandroid back up
Verify that you have a backup
Copy that backup to your computer.
Go back to the kernel thread and download the AOSP version of the kernel.
Flash it
See if your phone boots, runs as expected, and wifi works.
If the answer to any of those is no, restore your nandroid backup.

What does AOSP do? A user by the name ANDYRIOT had a cool looking DIALPAD... And I notice in his signature that it says AOSP 1.6 + Googlebits. Is that how he got his DIALPAD to look like that?

AOSP builds do not have any of the HTC sense or apps. I think that dial pad is the standard android dialer.

My phone is stuck at HTC screen and it doesn't move after the reboot... I did a backup and put it on my SD Card and verified it was there... But all it does is stall on the boot HTC screen..... Its been 5 min, still on that screen... I did a battery pull.... It is still stuck on the HTC screen...
So how do I fix the WIFI settings?
First we need to fix whatever is causing you not to be able to access the recovery image from your other thread. No use in trying anything else until you can reliably get back to where you started.

Hello everyone.

What ROM did you flash, and what partition size for CWM is installed on your phone?
It's possible you have flashed to too small a partition, can you please tell exactly what steps you took to get to where you are now?
huggs:
Thanks for your interest in my problem
I try installing these ROMs:
1) TyphooN CyanogenMod 7, Whit MAGLDR 150MB System/5MB Cache (ClockworkMod Recovery v3.0.2.5)
2) BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA_GINGER_2.3., Recovery_150 for boyppc-shiftpda rom
download from the original thread for each rom
i think you didn't make the proper cwm partition. download http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090783 hd2 nand tool kit. connect your phone to pc-choose usb flasher in mgldr menu, you must see usb flasher....usb. then open nand tool kit in pc-choose mgldr repartition-choose required partition size (say 150mb) if not present in list choose custom-in cache partition write 5-click repartition (at left bottom)- after finishing go ad recovery in mgldr-install zip from sd-choose zip from sd-find your rom in list. when installing is completed press back button-reboot
Thanks for your help, follow the exact steps by steps but still giving the same error, even resize the cache to 5mb as started in the original thread but still giving me the same error
if you write all the steps you take exactly we can help you more easily. but dont miss any of them

Make sure after you do those steps, to flash TYPHOON instead of BoyShift. Boyshift needs a bigger partition, but 150 is the correct size for Typhoon.

at last step, that you will return to WM and nothing happened,
that should be wrong shipped ROM that you install,
please check your IMEI number at HTC website
and download the right shipped ROM again.
Reinstall recovery if it doesn't work..
Then enter recovery, go to "Mounts and Storage Menu" and mount usb...
Copy the .zip file and install it
thank you but i cant find the download page on htc's site and i have no idea what rom i need to d/l

Start bootloader.bat
Again go to LK bootloader
Start recovery.bat
Now reboot in to recovery
When you are in fastboot (photon connected) launch recovery.bat
It will reboot, and to enter recovery just keep "volume +" at white screen and wait for menu

it could be long (10-30 mins), depends of your sd card.
Maybe your sd card isn't very good and not compatible with android.
Try to format your sdcard or try another sdcard
Thank you mystikal for everything i switched the sd card, copied the rom and it worked perfectly
You helped me alot!!!

Boot into the bootloader (hold power+volume down) then flash a stock WinMo ROM (make sure it's for your particular device i.e. TMOUS/EU). From here, you can do whatever you like really, it's probably best to start off with SD Android, trying out each different type of ROM (e.g. MIUI, CM9, Sense, AOSP etc.) and then move to NAND Android once you've made a selection. Note that NAND is much faster than SD, so if you feel sluggishness it might not be there on NAND.

Right, this is very weird...
I made a Nandroid backup (compressed) on TWRP for this first time, it completed successfully and then I powered off and turned the Nexus 4 back on. However to my surprise, I could not find the backup on my SD card. I checked everywhere (data/media...TWRP folder...etc). I even checked the entire phone (with root explorer enabled), nothing. However the backup was successful because my Available Space has fallen by roughly 1gb, the size of my backup. Does anyone know whats going on here?
Thanks in advance, really appreciate your support.

Hmm, unfortunately I don't get that. This is what I see.
Could it be because I am using a theme on my TWRP (the Holo one btw, which no one else has reported a problem on)...
Edit: Okay, I think I solved it...I went onto the root of the phone again this time, searched the data folder and was able to find Media -> Backups (see below). Why is that it appears here rather on the SD card data folder?

maybe because you compressed it? i dont compress mine.
Thanks for the help Simms, but after digging around on XDA forums, I found the cause and the solution (posted here):

There was a weird bug with TWRP that put the FIRST backup in /data/media/TWRP/backups (read: wrong). After rebooting the recovery, all future backups will go into /mnt/sdcard/TWRP/backups, which is where you want them.
Here's what I think happened:
1) Your first backup was stored in /data/media/TWRP which is not where TWRP looks for backups. So, TWRP showed no backups.
2) You ran a second backup which showed up correctly in TWRP, and was stored in /mnt/sdcard/TWRP/backups.
3) You renamed the most recent backup, and then checked /mnt/sdcard/TWRP/backups, and assumed the renaming actually moved the folder. I don't think it did.
