I just got my evo shift flashed to metro pcs and picture messaging and internet doesnt work does anyone know how i can get these to work.

I get terrible reception in my house.
I see that there is a thread where they use the myTouch 4g, or is it the 2g, rom to update the Nexus One, & a thread to update the myTouch Slide, to make calls via wifi.
Does anyone know if this same rom will work for the myTouch 3g to make wifi calls?
Or does anyone know how to 'fix' the myTouch 3g to make wifi calls?

I downloaded the APK and it will install, however it will not connect to the wifi to make a call.
just came across this article about the Samsung Focus is HSUPA capable, but off by default...similar to the HTC Inspire supposed 4G and Motorola Atrix...

Any idea if there is a way to enable 3g for t-mobile with the htc surround? I have mms working but no data yet... also would flashing a different radio to it help?

not possible. HTC surround is att exclusive and att 3g works on a different frequency than mobile, and its not possible to modify the internal 3g antenna frequency. You may be able to get 2g (edge) working tho. Your best bet is sticking to free WiFi areas
My phone was working fine, then all of a sudden it got diisconnected from the mobile network and not i cannot cannot connect to tmobiles network. I am running the virtous unity v1.31 rom and the panache stock radio and kerne v4. Can anyone please help me and tell me whats going on. I usually get good signal where i live. My gf mytouch g is having the same problem. Also when i search for network and it does find the tombile network and try to connect it keeps saying sim card does not allow a connection on the network

sounds like a network outage in your area...
I think i found out the issue, there was an earthquake on the east coast and i think its affecting tmobile's network thanks for the help. if the issue comes up again i will keep yall posted

What up XDA! First off, Greetings everyone. I have an Evo 4G flashed to Metro PCS, Running MIK G 3.11 MMS working. Beautiful thing. Thanks to XDA. My problem: No 3G, only 1x. Im stuck on PRL 2004. Tried to change it on QPST, CDMA Workshop and using dialing codes but it always shows PRL: 2004. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
hi if im asking a noob questioon shott me down in flames but i have not got a 4g option in my network settings my sim is 4g reay as i used 4g on my old nexus 5 and ive tried all hidden codes not working the option to select 4g is not there :s im stumped and dont know what to do to get 4g
