Hey guys Im trying to change the default browser for android so when I hit my browser button in the bottom menu it brings up Firefox instead of the main default browser. Is there a way to do this?
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Go to settings > applications > manage and select your current default browser then scroll down and select clear defaults. Then whenever prompted to choose browsers, select the new one and check set as default

Click to collapse
There's an app in the Market that's called Home Switcher. Install that and you'll be able to pick your home launcher of choice.
settings/ applications/ manage applications/ [select the home replacement app] and then select "clear defaults"...
next time you press home you'll get the options presented to you again..
Or another quick way is to go to timescape then go to settings then check set as home button. Then uncheck it
Then press the home button and you will see the Home Options Window.
Thanks Guys
Don't scream at me!
I have searched, but I can't seem to find this anywhere?
On my HTC Desire, when I have the default browser open and press menu and choose more, the top item is Home
On the SGS, under default browser settings, I have set my Home Page no problem, but when I choose menu and more, there is no "Home" option on the list?
As far as i can see, you press Menu button (while in browser) then New Window but it keeps the old window open as well so you need to close that with the 'Windows' button (in Menu)
I've only had mine a few days so there may be a quicker way but that does work
Thanks for that stickfinger
I had been doing the same and assumed I was missing something really obvious, but it appears not??
Can't figure out how to do this, cyanogen settings only let me assign them to a task, not disable. The left launcher makes my emulators unusable.

I have done a search but cannot find the answer. Every video player I use works fine but there is no menu option to exit the movie. I am using CM7 on SD.
Thanks
Settings > Tablet Tweaks > check override fullscreen.
Set the override button as whatever you want.
Play movie, click the down arrow to hide, then click your unhide button to bring back up the menu so you can exit/etc.
Can't select another keyboard. In "settings" select keyboard, return to app drawer with Home or Back-back-back, run any app with text field, long press - and no options, only native keyboard. Open "settings" again - another keyboard not selected.
There are another settings also don't save changes sometime.
What wrong? Can i fix it?
NC with CM7 on SD, nightly 68.
