Can't select another keyboard. In "settings" select keyboard, return to app drawer with Home or Back-back-back, run any app with text field, long press - and no options, only native keyboard. Open "settings" again - another keyboard not selected.
There are another settings also don't save changes sometime.
What wrong? Can i fix it?

Don't scream at me!
I have searched, but I can't seem to find this anywhere?
On my HTC Desire, when I have the default browser open and press menu and choose more, the top item is Home
On the SGS, under default browser settings, I have set my Home Page no problem, but when I choose menu and more, there is no "Home" option on the list?
As far as i can see, you press Menu button (while in browser) then New Window but it keeps the old window open as well so you need to close that with the 'Windows' button (in Menu)
I've only had mine a few days so there may be a quicker way but that does work
Thanks for that stickfinger
I had been doing the same and assumed I was missing something really obvious, but it appears not??
Can someone point me to a thread that explains how to install and enable SlideIt on NC 1.2 with MN 4.5.25
Thanks
Sent from my NOOKcolor using XDA Premium App
Go into market and navigate to SlideIT.
If you already installed it then just click on the 'open' button and it should start the process to walk you through initializing and choosing SlideIT as your primary keyboard.
If you haven't installed it then install it and when the install is finished choose the 'open' button instead of the 'done' button.
If you have already installed SlideIT and don't want to go into market then go into settings>language & keyboard. Check the box next to SlideIT Keyboard. Exit out of settings and go into any app that requires you to type something in. Instead of just tapping the field to bring up the keyboard, press and hold for a few seconds. This will bring up a menu box titled 'Input Method' (I think that's what it's called). Choose 'SlideIT Keyboard' and you will be good to go.
Hope this helps.

So I successfully rooted my Nook Color now, and installed the Market. However, very few apps appear in it, and I was wondering if there was a way to unlock the entire Android Market.
I'm running 1.2.
Thank you.
Have you done the old standby to stop/restart Framework/Google, etc. and reload?
In case you don't know what I mean:
Start Nook Color Tools.
Select the “All Settings” button.
Unplug your NOOKcolor from computer. (If Plugged in.)
Choose “Manage Applications” from the list.
Select the “All” tab.
Scroll down to “Market” and select it.
Tap “Force stop”.
Tap “Clear cache”.
Tap the Back button if you have SoftKeys running, else swipe right to left on the status bar at the bottom of the screen (from the clock to the book icon).
Scroll up to “Google Services Framework” and select it.
Tap “Clear data”.
Tap “OK”.
Tap “Force stop”.
Press the n button to return to your launcher.
Start Market.
At the “An error has occurred” message, tap “OK”.
Hold your power button to turn off your NOOK Color from the menu.
Turn your NOOK Color back on and give it a moment to find your WiFi connection.
Start Market again, and the problem is resolved.
I tried that but it didnt work. Can anyone help?
What do you mean by "unlock"?
You said "very few apps in it", what exactly do you mean?
Only few apps displayed on the NC?
Did you log in (set up) your google account?
Did you search apps by tap on the little magnifier in the upper right corner?
did you try turning the nook sideways?
It's kinda sad the OP hasn't replied in 5 days.
Yea, if you follow the instructions skeeterpro said EXACTLY, it should work perfect. I had some random issues so I had to return to stock a few times and re-root and go thru the process, and every time it fixed it. So many the OP needs to make sure he did EVERY single step, exactly, without deviation.
Accidentally cleared data instead of cache, sorry guys, thanks.
I thought I had updated the 5.08.20.apps2sd.block_updates.zip and dalingrin kernal, but after a successful reboot the "n" button still gives me problems. When it is pressed, I am returned to the standard B&N home screen with no access to Zeam/Home Catcher. Could you please tell me what I missed? I did not perform a wipe before updating. Thanks!

Reboot the device to get back into the Zeam Launcher
Find and open the app "NookColor Tools"
Select "All Settings"
Select "Manage Applications"
Select the "All" tab
Scroll down, and select "Home"
Select "Clear defaults"
Now when you press the "n" and select home, you will be presented with an option box that says "Complete action using," check the box that says "Use by default for this actions," then select the first option that has the home icon, don't select the second one that says "Home" next to it.
Search for it.

Haven't used stock nook in a while, so correct me if i'm wrong. you go to the apps panel thing in the nook stock home, then there should be a search button somewhere. it could also be in the bottom arrow overlay (i think you bring that up now with the n button in the new updates) then you search for zeam launcher and do what previous post said.
I have an old Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight that I rooted with ReLaunch 1.3.8 a while back. When I press the "n" button and it pulls up the "home," "library," "shop," etc buttons on the screen, and then press the library button, it used to ask "Complete action using" and give the options of "Library" or "ReLaunch." But then my daughter got a hold of it one day and checked the box to set a default application, then set ReLaunch as the default application for the Library screen button. Now I can't figure out how to unset it so that I can get the default Library to open again. Can anyone help with the steps for clearing the default application for the Library button?
I found the solution with the Nook Touch Mod Manager application
In a similar case you can just just reinstall the app that you really want and the "picker" will show up again.
Code:
C:\>adb install -r myapp.apk
Or go to Settings > Apps > App Info > Launch by Default > Clear
