Kexec update? - Droid X General

Now that everyone knows the sbf keys was a hoax; where does the kexec project stand? I know they got working wifi drivers and were tackling bluetooth next but I haven't seen any new updates as to the drivers. I read the official bluetooth driver forum and it seems like its at a standstill. Was just curious for an update whether they are closer to successful bluetooth or got a developer for them or whatever is new. Just curious. Thanks

[Q] About the GPS...

So, I was wondering if anyone has yet tried pulling the GPS fix that Samsung sent out for the Captivate and trying it with the Fascinate. Shouldn't be too difficult, as the GPS hardware for the different Galaxy S variants SHOULD be almost 100% the same.
Might be worth a look, just a thought.

Someone would need to take a look at the OTA for the Captivate to see what we need, but yeah, pushing the needed files would be the next step. Seems simple enough.

Getting Google's home and fixing a gps are two very different things, but I get where you are coming from.
Does the Captivate gps fix involve a tweak to their radio as well? If so, I can definitely understand why that wouldn't work for us.

Agreed. Will flag the mod in charge.
@ uoY_redruM: It would be better if you edited your first post with the link.
Woah, don't ever try to update your Nexus with an OTA update meant for the Desire. Bad things could possibly happen.
And I don't think a new Desire update is much news for us though.

True, and it should be flagged Desire, although there may be things in it we could use.
The reason I think its a market update is because when the initial alert popped up it was a whole bunch of text and such then asked if I wanted to update now or later and if I wanted to use wifi or mobile data blah blah and in that initial jumble of text I saw it said Market.

Like I said though, it said something about Market on the initial request to download the update. I could be wrong, but that's what I saw.
Regardless, I discarded the file because I obviously can't use it but I do have it uploaded in the OP if anyone wants to take a look.

I'm sure we'll get a source release soon enough.
So you got a FROYO ota on a DESIRE, why in the world are you making a thread in the nexus one forum?
Ok, I think this could be a Market update for HTC android phones.
That's because my colleague's LOCKED and UNROOTED HTC Desire HD has the new 2.2.6 Market.
And I know it has been changed because just a few days ago I was playing with it and it had the old market.
So question is, are Nexus One users also getting the updated Market as well?

I have seen that since the day I got my Atrix, 15 days back and it has been 15 ever since , I check it daily to see if the number increases.
i checked that page about a month ago and the olympus number showed 12. now its at 15. i am pretty sure it is actually someone doing some testing with cyanogen on an atrix.

-Matt will receive his Atrix shortly
-Sam has started trying to create a vendor tree http://t.co/x6ADG0i
-The rest is unknown at the moment & we will need to start communicating what each of us is doing.

Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) was compiled on Jan 19th and ready for OTA preparation

http://www.justaboutphones.com/sony-xperia-z5-z5-compact-z5-premium-z3-marshmallow-6-0-update/
If we follow the time it took for 5.0 to go from "Uploading" to actually available in Xperifirm, it took about a week. At least we know it's
Edit: Changed the title. The kernel build date will probably say 19th. Seems like Sony's apps aren't Marshmallow-ready.

Sony's firmware servers are DOWN right now. This usually happens around update time. They might come back up with new update files. Or they might not.
Edit: False alarm. Servers are back, with some updates, but none Marshmallow related.
