And what does that matter?
Tenfar's unlocked cwm is perfectly fine for development.
What key features are missing that will not allow custom rom development?
Nothing. It is advanced and has no issues. Im also loving the adb support.

The 2 are unrelated. tenfars CWM is great. What the other poster is saying is that the stats on the webpage probably don't count what gets installed by tenfars version since it's not the "official" one.

Ahhh ok. Thanks for clarifying. I wonder what other olympus is being modded?
Maybe the devs have added it somehow to the site? Who knows.
I'm just glad to see olympus on there, one way or another.

I would say that it is the Atrix, they could have a modified version internally. But of course it may not be.

I have seen that since the day I got my Atrix, 15 days back and it has been 15 ever since , I check it daily to see if the number increases.
i checked that page about a month ago and the olympus number showed 12. now its at 15. i am pretty sure it is actually someone doing some testing with cyanogen on an atrix.

Current Known Contributers:

Where we are at the moment:
-RootzWiki is looking for other developers to give a free Atrix to for CM7
-Matt will receive his Atrix shortly
-Sam has started trying to create a vendor tree http://t.co/x6ADG0i
-The rest is unknown at the moment & we will need to start communicating what each of us is doing.

froyo has a new kernel, and koush's recovery doesnt support kernels, so it will probably be an upddate zip similar to the manual update process from the d1

It is not the recovery that does not support kernel, but rather the bootloader wont boot an unapproved kernel. so if the 2.2 kernel is included and the bootloader verifies it then it will be fine.

Yeah that's what it seems like to me, too. Probably still a beta build and not the final, but whatever I'll take it.
I'm calling bull****. Just like the DInc rumor. I'll believe it when I hear an official communication or receive the OTA update request on my phone.
These "rumors" are starting to get old. Its just phone nerds trying to be relevant and important on the interwebs.
The thread clearly indicates that this is not the official OTA update. This is supposed to be a leaked release of the froyo update. But by all means, go ahead and wait for your official announcement.

The difference here is that the other rumor was started by a clueless Verizon rep who thought the Droid 2.2 update was for the Droid Incredible.
The dev phone has 2.2.1 on it. This is 2.2.6. This is a new build, straight from P3's source. This is gonna be good.

I'm assuming that this is still going to be ECO5/FroYo based, am I correct? I remember back in the EE03 Pre-Release thread, one of the ACS members saying that SRF releases are not, and will never be based on leaks. Seeing as EE19 hasn't officially been called official, at least to the best of my knowledge, I think I am answering my own question... Prove me wrong?

Sorry guys, I tried using it for 2 weeks and just couldn't take it. I built a working recovery and was done. I went out and bought a Nexus S.
Personally, I believe if you guys want hardware that has fantastic open source software support, you need to buy hardware that supports open source software. Vote with your money and buy dev phones (ie Nexus S). Eventually companies will catch on.
