maybe you have a dodgy file, remove the microsd card and then try again if it works, check the files on the card.
How did you go? Try reformatting the sd card? If it's old you may need a new sd card.

Anyone know how to use your memory card in RT? I would be nice if the apps could be loaded on it.

Doesn't it mount as removable media like a USB drive? That's how my USB sd card reader works.
Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, I was thinking more in line like android where you can let it load the media directly to that card, for example when I download a file how do I make it default to the card?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using XDA Premium HD app
The default download directory is %userprofile%\Downloads, and I don't think you can change that in ie. You could try the registry.

Quick question for all of you who updated today, are you guys now moving your apps to your sd cards? Are there any pros or cons this besides freeing up space? Like will it make it slower opening up apps? Or will it make the phone faster since less is stored on it
Also ive had a SD card go bad on me. If the same thing happened would I have to redownload all my apps that are stored on the sd card or will I just have to like reenter saved passwords and such?
Sorry a bunch of questions.. but thanks in advance!

It'll make the phone not faster nor slower it will save some space. Note not all apps can be moved to the SD card so that's that

Thanks! That's what I figured. But do you know what would happen if my memory card went bad? Would it require reinstalling the apps that are on the memory card?

Take out the sdcard and stick it in the pc with an adapter, maybe that works.
..
I haven't done a thing the phones literally a couple of weeks old

As gee2012 has said the only way to fix is get an adapter and plug into your pc. You can download image rescue software, Lexar and SanDisk both have versions.

Probably bad sdcard. There are many topics on same issue.
The best solution is to get a replacement.
If you have sandisk card then read more here.

Have you tried mounting it on the PC? Use a separate card reader and try formatting it using disk management.

Am I screwed it's a integral one
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
Yeah sounds like it's dead. In my opinion integral are cheap and nasty so Sandisk or Kingston would be a better choice

Assuming you're lucky enough not to get a fake. Over in UK even Amazon themselves has been sending out fakes.
Some people also suggesting that,
keep your card in freezer for 3-4 hours or overnight.
And it will work again. no harm in trying.
