There is info about this issue on Google search, you might try with this http://digital-photography-school.com/recover-images-from-a-damaged-sd-card.

Take out the sdcard and stick it in the pc with an adapter, maybe that works.

..

I haven't done a thing the phones literally a couple of weeks old

As gee2012 has said the only way to fix is get an adapter and plug into your pc. You can download image rescue software, Lexar and SanDisk both have versions.

Done. Got it fixed via adapter and software cheers all

Are you rooted? Because if not, I can only help by backing up apk's of your apps to your computer.

Try Carbon app. It allows you to back up apps and their settings without root.

I didn't like the fact that you have to pay for the premium version. Storage is through USB on the N4 otherwise.

Backup using Carbon, then transfer the backup files to your PC. Then when you're ready, copy them back and restore.
Besides, what's so bad about having to pay a few bucks for such a great app? All devs work hard to make the apps/mods/ROMs/kernels, etc that they do!

Probably bad sdcard. There are many topics on same issue.
The best solution is to get a replacement.
If you have sandisk card then read more here.

Have you tried mounting it on the PC? Use a separate card reader and try formatting it using disk management.

Am I screwed it's a integral one
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
Yeah sounds like it's dead. In my opinion integral are cheap and nasty so Sandisk or Kingston would be a better choice

Assuming you're lucky enough not to get a fake. Over in UK even Amazon themselves has been sending out fakes.
Some people also suggesting that,
keep your card in freezer for 3-4 hours or overnight.
And it will work again. no harm in trying.

Unexpected error messages..

Omg! I seriously think there's something wrong with my phone. So far I have seen almost half of my apps getting an error message saying "unexpected, (the apps name) has stopped". Like wtf half of the times I'm not even using the apps, the message comes out of nowhere. Really annoying.

I've been getting that too. I reset my phone completely. Still doing it off and on.

I know Watchon has that problem until you do the initial setup. If they are other Samsung apps you might want to try just opening them up for a bit to see if it fixes.
Sent from my SM-N900V using xda app-developers app
For the Samsung apps I've had watchOn, Samsung keyboard, Samsung flip board, text app, camera app and the music player. As for the none Samsung apps as follows, yahoo message, Skype, xda app, Google Chrome, and bsplayer.. I even did a factory reset. I think it's time to call up Verizon to get a replacement.

Ok, this may sound weird, but have you tried taking your SD Card out... and testing it with that out...

No I have not. I don't think that has anything to do with my SD card since not a lot of people are having the same issue. I mean I can try that, doubt that would do anything. I always take advice anytime. Will try.

^This... it's a odd thing to do, but most of the time fixes it... I've had to do it since the first android phones...

I will try this tomorrow afternoon when I get off from work at 7am. I will do a factory reset and once I go through the set up I will format the SD card and see if that works. I will report back here tomorrow afternoon. Thanks

Looks like its having an issue with removable storage. Kit Kat has an issue with writing to removable storage, and RemoteWave might be trying to write to it, and that's whats causing the error.
I applied the fix as suggested in a few other posts, but no dice.

Have you tried contacting the developer of Remote Wave to see if they could help with a fix.
