Arabic Language Support - Galaxy 3 General

Is there a Roman Arabic for Samsung I5800 Galaxy
Or his Arabization

It could be at market, did u looked for there ?

I found 2 solutions but none of themare usefull.
1 Dr Ben0X give no connected letters
2 Ardoid need update.zip from sdcard not enabled on on my JPM froyo
Any other experience ?

In order to install Ardoid, I flash Arabic Android Generic Update for FroYo, froyo stock generic signed.zip as an update.zip from sdcard with ClockworkMod recovery on InDroid 4.1 CWM Clean, it breacks the firm.
In ardoid.com, they say "Galaxy S & Galaxy Tab Devices are not supported"
It's not the solution ...

Hi,
Could you tell me where I can find arabic firmware
Thanks
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
I've been searching this, and the only thing I could find was an official arabic region firmware off of samfirmware.com P1000JPJJ2 (if pass: samfirmware.com). You have to flash using Odin using this PIT P1 file and make sure you don't select RE-PARTITION. These are instructions from the samfirmware site (http://www.samfirmware.com/WEBPROTECT-p1000.htm). I havn't tested it yet, because I'm waiting for Bell firmware to come in case I need something to fall back to.
I tried to upgrade the firmware to Arabic. however the installation failed and my phone is not booting now. how to boot the phone. Thanks
Can you re-trace your steps? Which firmware did you use? Did you check or uncheck Re-Partition? What pit file did you use?
The upgrade to the P1000JPJJ2 should only be done after having you device upgraded to P1000JPJJ1 then flash the P1000JPJJ2 & noting not selecting Re-Partition
Oh I see. Then that means that he will have to flash P1000XXJHA before as a prerequeist to P1000JPJJ1?

I did not have to do this -- I upgraded to P1000JPJJ1 with re-partition on -- then upgraded to the P1000JPJJ2 with "no-partition"
I used P1000 P1000JVJJ1 ## 816.PIT .
That's because this guy is probably on a later firmware and will need to downgrade to a suitable full firmware before he can update to an Arabic firmware. You have to remember, very few of the firmware packages available are full flashes and people are all on different device versions.

I tryed all arabic firms from samfirmware. They works with one problem:
The autorotate dont work. So i come back to european rom without arabic.
The option 'calibrate screen' dont exist in all arabic firmware till now even with froyo 2.2
HI I tried to upgrade to the latest Arabic firmware package P1000JPJM4 ## using ODIN 1.7, No PIT and No Partition, no the device is booting ok but stuck on Samsung logo forever, I tried to flash it again, buit its not allawing me and can not connect at all, is it gone or how can I restore it back.
My Device was an AT&T i987, flashed sucessfully with euorpean firmware P1000XWJJ4_SERJJ2_XXJID with Partition first, then P1000XXJK5 no partition.
Can some one help me please?
OK, my device only shows a PC and a phone with an ! mark between them?!!!

[Q] Best version of Froyo rom for Galaxy3?

Hello,
recently i've bought a Samsung I5800 galaxy 3 ,and updated the phone through KIES to the latest version of Froyo. Yesterday i downloaded and installed a custom rom called InDroid 3.0 Stock LagFixed which is great. But now i was wondering if i could return to my original rom(the official one so that i could update it in KIES to the latest firmware should one appear in the near future).
When i connected my phone in KIES it shows me that it cannot upgrade my firmware becouse it doesn't recognize it.
I am from Romania so i would like a rom that also has romanian language on it or one that is the best and fast.
I have downloaded this rom I5800XWJPF ,is it ok for me if i flash it whit Odin?

Damn kies problem

Hi everyone,
I used custom roms for a long time and after that i decided to upgrade original samsung rom via kies. so i downloaded turkish rom from samfirmware.com and now i connect to kies and it says this device is not official samsung device and doesnt upgrade my samsung in the past there was method called spoof kies however it doesnt work with latest kies?
so how can i upgrade the official rom?
You should change your CSC code to Turkish CSC.
I second SiSL and if that doesn't work go to an older FW and then try it (check csc again as well)

both method doesnt work with any official roms
So you have downgraded to froyo and tried, or GB 2.3 ????
If you haven't yet tried froyo or eclair and intend to, don't forget that you may not have download mode or recovery

well, when i bought my phone from seller it had original 2.2.1 rom installed and after that i upgraded to 2.3 official rom using kies. after i used 2 months i wanted to try custom roms and i installed official 2.2.1 rom from samfirmware.com so that i can have 2.3 original rom back. at this point i have problem because kies says, "hey dude this rom is not an official samsung rom so you cant upgrade your phone" i tried many roms from that website and none of them is not working.
What I mean by changing CSC is not oding flashing the Turkish CSC...
You have to change CSC using *#272*IMEI CODE#
You can find your IMEI code from Phone Info menu...

[Q] samsung galaxy s i9000 rooting software and firmware upgrade

hi guys i urgently need help in finding the software that would upgrade my firmware from 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 or above and i cant seem to find the software to root my fone either (gingerbread)
Are you wanting to try a custom ROM (pre-rooted) or do you just wanna use the standard Samsung firmware and root it?
Firmware upgrade & rooting GT-I9000
I upgraded from 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 and then rooted my GT-I9000 and installed ClockworkMod Recovery. This was an excellent move! But I am given to understand that this is also the preferred route to custom roms should you wish to go in that direction. I found the following guides to be extremely helpful:
"theandroidsoul.com/galaxy-s-gets-official-value-pack-firmware-xxjw4-includes-touchwiz-4/"
"theandroidsoul.com/xxjw4-root-and-clockworkmod-recovery-for-galaxy-s/"
Another useful link - especially if you need to go back - is the firmware archive at:
"samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9000"
---------------------------------------
Galaxy S: GT-I9000: RemICS-UX v1.3 beta.
Galaxy Note: GT-N7000: ICS 4.0.3.

GT-P7500 vietnamese Firmware Update

I have a GT-P7500 and when I connect it to kies it doesn't show me any update, but when I google it I see some new firmwares for it , I wanna know that can i install any firmwares on it or I should install the special one that made for vietnamese samsung GT-P7500?
Dude, root it, install a modded CWM recovery, and take any custom ROM from our glorious developers and try it out. The stock firmwares sucks in many ways.
