Hey, instead of struggling with the Samsung Video Editor, I came across an even better solution. try out a website called JayCut. its a online video editor and it really works. I can upload videos as big as 250 MB with full editing capability.

Im trying YouTube but getting mixed results as many of the HQ videos are also super letter boxed((large black stripe top and bottom..ex linkin park new divide video)).
Are there any good videos on the web that are 800x480 or 720x480 that play well on the N1 ?
Not on my home comp so cant convert something. My buddys coming over tommrw wants to see Vids on the N1. Looking for something good to download.
you have pm
wow thats a beautiful clip.
I was hoping for a 'fullscreen' but thats fantastic clip. Thnx.
Hello world!.
Try this. Visit this url: twit.tv/twit
and download either Low or High video resolution link.
BTW, TWIT is my favorite pod/videocast which I am enjoying every week.
I am also using ffmpeg (svn, GNU/Linux version) to convert any movie/video files into N1's playable MP4 format. Very nice quality.
TQ
//This is my first post, after a month lurking in this forum . Eventhough my N1 still locked/unrooted yet, but, I felt happy knowing the potential of N1 + Android.
I bought a new phone Galaxys2, and lately learn more about galaxys2 form Internet, the article about play tivo show on galaxys2 is from the blog.
The following is the contents of the article
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and now would like to add some TiVo videos (anime) on the Android smartphone for watching on its Super AMOLED Plus screen. But the Galaxy Tab like iPhone 4, can not directly play TiVo shows on the Galaxy S 2, So we cann’t watch TiVo shows on Samsung Galaxy S 2? No, Do you remember My first article “Easy sync TiVo Shows to iPad for Playback” Yes, we can use the same way to put TiVo shows on the Samsung Galaxy S 2 for Playback.
Just follow the step-by-step guide as below:
Run Foxreal Video Converter as the best TiVo to Galaxy S2 Converter on your computer, and then add your TiVo movie files into it.
(Notice: Enter the Media Access Key of your TiVo recordings into the “Open < TiVo” of the program to quickly import your TiVo recordings.)
Click on “Format < Android < Motorola Droid (x) H.264 Video” to quickly get output format for Droid that can also be played on the Samsung Galaxy S2 with high quality.
For instance, you can set bitrate as 1500 kbps, resolution as 800×480 and frame rate as 30 fps to help you get Galaxy S2 supported video in a good balance between video quality and file size.(You can also choose 2000kbps bitrate, 1024×720 resolution then you can watch 720p videos on your Galaxy S 2)
Start TiVo to H.264 MP4 conversion by clicking on “Convert” on the main interface of the powerful TiVo to Galaxy S2 MP4 Converter.
it's uesful for me, so I share it here. Hope you are like it.

Why am I having such a hard time getting this t work? I use my phone to take all the videos I need and just want to play them back on my tablet. I have tried for hours to get it to work and can find nothing. I want to use the movie studio app for honeycomb to edit the videos as well. Anyway around this?
Welcome to the club. GTab cant play 1080 video made by sgs2.

If I record in 720 will they play just fine? In the meantime how do I convert these 1080 videos down to 720 so I can add them to a movie im making?
I'd prefer to convert them right on the tablet but can use handbrake on a comp if I absolutely have to.

Handbrake will always solve the issue, as you can convert to whatever codex/container you want. But why not something like youtube (private video) to do it for you, upload from your SGSII and the video stays online, not consuming any storage memory on your Tab or SGSII?

I was trying to get the videos converted to so I could upload them into movie studio. I converted them but they wouldn't upload into movie studio. If I take videos with my phone in 720 mode they upload into movie studio just fine.
I was wondering if there is any good video editing apps for the N7, I looked in the playstore and haven't found anything comparable to iMovie from apple. Is there any video editors that could be ported from the galaxy tab or HTC flyer. Thanks in advance.
Anybody? I found a video editor from the xoom but I believe the dpi is messed up or something. Can anybody get this to work better or have any suggestions?

I have my S4 settings all the way to the max for video recording and I'm using the newest version of CleanROM. They look great on my phone but the video quality looks poor on Facebook after uploading. Do the video files need to be recorded in a specific format to upload with the best settings? Has anybody else had or have this issue? I have the same issue no matter what ROM I use.
its probably not an issue with your device but more facebooks issue

nothing permitting facebook...
facebook does not allow that, greetings
My Father In Law has a iPhone 5S and his videos are uploaded to FB just fine and have good quality. I think it's the compression being used when it first is recorded. I read somewhere that FB works best with H.264 so I was wondering what compression the S4 uses.

I am having the same issues. I've checked my video files and it's .mp4. I will try converting to H.264 and see if this works.
