I got my HTC HD2 a while ago and my friend flashed darkstones superram froyo onto it. Each time I would turn on the phone it would boot into into a custom winmo rom then I would tap to boot into android. Now I use tytung's nexushd2 v2.4 nand rom and when I turn on the phone it goes straight into magldr and boots up gingerbread. But everytime the winmo splash screen shows up right before magldr. Is there any need for winmo on my phone anymore?
The splash screen is just there, you can't change it unless you flash another WinMo rom. It doesn't mean that WinMo in on your phone, its just a left over jpeg
winmo isnt on your phone, all you are seeing is the splash screen

This always happens to me after the first time I've boot android. First time it did load in about 1 or 2 minutes. Did all the configuration (accounts, etc), restarted the device and the next time I try to boot android it just shows me that, after seen it so much, awfull green htc logo.
After first boot let it sit for a few mins then reboot. After reboot skip all the way through setup and do everything manually. See if that help any.

Hi guys,
How to run MAGLDR without booting Android?
I have problem and I can't solved it by myself. I have installed Android on my HTC HD2. I did it by MAGLDR. Now I'd like to run only Magldr without booting Android. How can I do this? Is it any hotkeys to run only MAGLDR?
I'd like to do that, because my android for some reasons stoped booting. I only can see HTC text on white background. If I put off SD Card and start booting I can see HTC text on white background and then Quietly brilliant text.
P.S. I have NAND ver. of Android which is booted by MAGLDR.
Please Help,
Greetings
Tomasz Pietrzak
Hold power key down.
Hi there,
Very simple. Just hold down the power key after your device switches on and wait. MAGLDR should boot in a sec. or 5
Pozdrowienia,
Janek.
Boot to MAGLDR (all the time)
I called myself flashing a new rom. I was running CMYLXGO 1.1.18n on my HD2. I wanted to change to Hyperdroid. After the wipe, partition, bla bla bla stuff. When I restarted the device, It failed. I decided to return back to the CMY rom to make sure I did not ruin my phone. Did the wipe, and all that stuff again.
Long story short, now if I pull the battery, turn it on, I boot straight to MAGLDR (not holding the button). I have to select option 3 (boot to ad nand). Then everything runs fine. What did I do wrong?
Running
SPL 2.08
MAG 1.3
Kernel 2.6.32.15raf
I still would like to switch to Hyperdroid -
Thanks in advance.

well if u want to boot directly from nand do the following things
turn on the phone
when u will see the magldr menu go to services ( # 10 if i still remmember )
u will see 5 choices ...t=choose the first : boot settings
u will see 3 choices ...choose the first boot sources and choose android from nand
go back to the last screen and choose always display menu ...it will ask u yes ( call button) or no (end call button) ...press end call end go back to reboot ...now u will boot directly to ur rom
for the part about changing to hyperdroid ...u ned to know the exact recovery partition to use ...for hyperdroid 150mb and for CMYLXGO 1.1.18 400mb ( i think so cuz it's a sense rom) ...so flash 150mb recovery partition and install hyperdroid ...
hope that helped u
Big thanks
Yes you fixed it. Thank you....
I'll work on the Hyperdroid later.

boot loader screen? are you talking about the screen with tri colors on it? if you are, the only way i know getting to that screen is by holding volume down and power at the same time when powering on the phone, or you have real problem with your phone. are you holding those two buttons?

did you use magldr or cLK?
I would go back to the tri-color screen flash task29, then reflash magldr or cLK or whatever you're using.
i suspect he means a haret version of android.
I had exactly the same thing every time i tried haret android over winmo, time and time again, for months, until nand android came along. They wouldnt boot, and resetting hung at boot screen forcing a hard reset. On the very few occasions an android build booted, they would work until i soft reset, then it gave the same hang at boot screen forcing hard reset symptoms. Mostly tho they just didn't boot, and the same hung at boot screen forcing hard reset.
I'll never try sd android again! never did find out why.

Sounds like an old radio or the fact that you didn't use a card reader to transfer the files, maybe they were corrupting in the transfer, I had this come up a few times.
I am using a haret version and the phone is not stuck at the android boot screen but at the winmo boot screen and i didn't use any magldr or clk
i have hspl installed and i have stock winmo
Hello,
I had this issue first time I changed from WinMo to Android. Stuck on the HTC boot screen. It was because there was no OS installed on it.
And I solved it by updating the Radio before updating the ROM.
So I would recommend you to first update your Radio, then try again installing your Android ROM.

That's good advice, try the 2.15.50 radio, also make sure you are transferring via sd card reader to avoid data corruption. Also try a different ROM.
Stuck with NAND magdlr
Hello,
I tried to install several ROMs through ClockworkMod Recovery.
Everything went fine, with all of them, except when i rebooted before the first use. With all the roms my HD2 stayed on the bootscreen..
Please help me out!
