Currently, my search says to wait 20-30min. I don't have time to sit here for half an hour for maintenence. So if anyone could direct me to a thread on how to boot wp7 and android, thatd be great!
PS does alpha jax work with words for friends?
You don´t even have time to read the thread titles of the first few pages here?
On the second page (as of now), you´d easily have found this:
Tutorial: Dual Boot WP7 and Android + Magldr Builds + More To Come...

As I'm using my mattc Android 1.5b build on my HD2 and it works almost PERFECT, I can't stop wondering if a flash ROM will be available in the future..
The reason I am asking about this is because whatever HTC winmo model I'm googling for (TD2 android, Blackstone Android..etc...etc) I ONLY find HaRET boot's.. As I haven't seen any Android flash ROM I'm wondering if that's even possible..?

You should really search before making a new post. Its not possible yet and if it was you would see a thread about it... This question has been asked about 40 times this month alone...When it comes out trust me you will know, So long as you READ and Follw this site like the rest of us
Yes I do read and follow. But I'm abit newbish on theese forums. I just found out that I should have questioned this in one of the stickys.. I apologize..
About that it's not possible, do you mean on the HD2 or in general?
My questions will go to the right thread from now on
As far as I've read it's looking like it MAY happen soonish. Currently, no all the builds are loaded off of your SD.

OR you could search, or even browse the forums for the answer, instead of asking a question which seems to be answered at least once a day here
I'm a 'newbie' too.... and we would forever be 'newbies' without searching/browsing/reading.
Check HTC Kaiser. It has NAND Android, and is/was winmo based.

"NAND" was the word! I didn't know that. Thanks Now I found ALOT about this
I'm currently running the MT3G 32b with the Cyanogen Froyo 2.2 install, considering TMobile is releasing the OTA Froyo update in the next few weeks, I'm considering going with that, but if I want to do that, do I have to do something to my phone to get it ready for the update? Or can I go straight from the Cyanogen mod to accept the OTA Update?
Thanks up front for your patience.

tldnr: post a link or it doesn't exist
I've searched every magic / dream / TMO OTA wall that has been created on this and the Cyanogen forum, as well as Googling for similar threads and data on various forums, and haven't found a single post on a single thread that answers simply this specific question. In addition, I've looked at every post that was recommended as possible solutions by this forum as I was creating this thread.
So if you could be bothered for a brief moment to get off your high horse. A horse whose saddle bags are filled with a fountain of knowledge and forum links of hundreds of millions of responses on threads to the question I have posted. Maybe you could post a single link with a response, or even a set of keywords that could be placed into Google or whatever search engine you prefer to use that would return a single result that answers the question.
If however, in your infinite wisdom, you feel that answering my question would take up too much time out of your day, I suppose I'll let you get back to trolling the forums in hope that you can post "first" and "search first" on every thread anyone creates.

Here's a great example of how to be a total douche on a forum. Good job!
How about a forum/thread for WP7 development (as there is for android). The guys over in the WP7 forum keep deleting posts regarding WP7 dev, so why not add a new one here?
Awesome. How much progress have you made on hacking WP7?
maybe even remove one of the android hd2 areas
I wouldn't mind a separate thread in the HD2 forum purely for the current development of WinMo7 on the device, I frequently come on here trying to find threads about it to keep myself up to date, and they're a bit all over the place.
So at least there would be a centralised place for it, although I can understand the argument of what's the point in having a forum for it if there is no working build (or publicly available build?)

No chance............
@ the OP.
What exactly would this WP7 section contain.....
The guys working on that kind of thing are not in the habit of popping they're head round the door and saying.....
"By the way guys, Ive just had some great progress with such and such......."
When its done, we will find out..........

Don't forget that for each one of those posts, there will be a thousand "oMG can I flAShorz this Too meh Hd2???", "is this hd2 rom?"...
When we actually have a flash-able or haret-able (that even a word?) version, then yes.
Just wodering is there going to be a full android flash for htc hd2 so i dont have to run it off the sd card?
You should really read through the forums a little better. Before asking such a question. Don't u think that everyone running android would want that. Its called nand boot and its been in the works for awhile now.
Hrm, now this is is either a very unimaginative piece of trolling, or you've not even bothered to scan through the forums before posting.
I'd try doing a little research before yelling for help. And in the development forum too.... tsk, tsk. There's a Q&A section for a reason, you know.
Yes, its coming out in 2 hours, hold on to your hat...its coming, its called nandanoobaphobia......lol
Wow ppl stop being aggressive he seems to be noob on XDA ( it's not an insult to be a noob...everyone was a noob ! ).
To answer your question, developpers working hard on it but we don't know when they're going to release the nand flash !
You can follow the last news about this project on this thread :

I agree...There are countless posts in plain sight on the general forums to read about this topic.
he signed up in august, and this is his first post. i say troll... a bad one at that.
fail you lose one million internetz
You do know that many people sign up just to get a download? Having a three month old account doesn't disqualify someone from being a noob. It's possible, perhaps even likely, they signed up to download a simple patch or app 3 months ago, and have only now started reading the forums or using custom ROMs and Android.
I know these posts get annoying, but I don't think laying into first time posters is the answer. I see as much or more nonsense being posted by "senior" members with 100s or 1000s of posts.

hi all friend,
It's my first time on HTC HD T-Mobile.
I'm not able to find the right topic about installing the 3 OS in HTC HD2
I would like to install 3 OS together in my phone by backup the existing win 6.5 OS
OS are :
The Stable android 2.2
Window Mobile 7
Customized Window 6.5.x
Would you please guide me the right topic ?
Thanks
Jame2d
Not Possible. Wrong section.

Firstly, you cant run all 3 OS's, You can run combinations of 2 like WP7 on NAND and Android on SD or Android on both NAND and SD or WM6.5 on NAND and Android on SD.
Second, how on earth does this look like a questions forum?? In future post your questions in the Q&A forum.
Third, you obviously havent even spent 2 minutes looking at forum titles or reading the guides so before you start asking loads of questions everywhere do yourself a favor and do some reading, lazyness is not tolerated here and frowned upon.
So, how do we get the OP banned for life? Clearly posts like this will continue if we don't cure (ban) the OP asap.
Thanks

Relax... its not a big deal. He asked a question. No need to ban... that's ridiculous.
To op... we can't triboot all 3 os's yet, but hopefully soon cotulla will release a sd bootable version of winmo6.5, at which point we can have wp7 on nand, and android and wm65 on sd card. So it'll probably just be a matter of time.

It's good to see that not all the friendly, helpful people have left XDA just yet. I was starting to despair, this used to be a place where newbies could come to ask questions without fear of ridicule no matter how naive the request. Thanx zarathustrax for restoring my faith in XDA.
We at XDA ARE still friendly to n00bs with actual, legitimate questions. People like this OP that don't take the time to read ANYTHING are the people that we don't like. It's all about the reading folks. There really aren't that many things left about the HD2 that we don't know about, and a simple search will almost always result with the information that you need.

All this info can be confusing to someone new to this... someone seeing the hd2 forum showing that the hd2 can run all these OS's, and seeing all this stuff about dualbooting and tri-booting when you include ubuntu... a search would probably bring back a variety of threads about dualbooting and tribooting. Even posts out there talking about the possibility of running all 3 OS's once the sd version of wm65 is released. All this information can be quite overwhelming to someone new and can be difficult to sort through and figure out. There is no need to talk about banning the poster or saying you don't like the poster because he didn't know what was possible and he asked a question in the wrong section.
Considering we may be able to run all 3 OS's on our HD2s possibly very soon, I don't think the question is that out of line... it probably should be in a Q&A section, but all the Q&A sections are for specific OS's, so that makes it hard to figure out what section this question should have been posted in, especially for a noobie. All that needed to be said was that it's not possible yet, but that it will probably be possible soon. Then the thread would have died and would have been out of your site.

I first came here after a google search looking for an app for a T-Mobile MDA Comapct III (HTC P3300). I had no idea about flashing ROMs or anything. I found the app and also noticed other apps that were useful.
After a good read on the ROM flashing, I decided to flash a ROM. It worked fine, but some of the aspects of the ROM I didn't like. So I tried another and another until I was happy. Then I did more reading and did some very basic tweaks.
This phone has been not used for a couple of years, until about a month ago. I again had a read about the latest ROMs and flashed one, didn't like it so I flashed another - which I quite like the look of. I added TomTom and downloaded the free city map. Now this phone is used as a backup in my car and also as a tracker if my car was to be stolen.
