[Q] AT&T 3G/1900mhz coverage in New Jersey - Omnia 7 General

anyone using Omnia 7 on AT&T in NJ? I know it doesn't support 850mhz freq so I was just wondering how the 1900mhz coverage is in north jersey

I popped in an AT&T SIM Card into my Omnia 7 while in NY and NJ and noticed that my Edge indicator symbol was replaced by a 3G indicator symbol. However, data and calling stopped working.

interesting.. how is t mobile with this phone?

Tmobile Uk Edge coverage

Hi guys,
Just like to know whats tmobile's edge coverage like in the uk, im on tmobile as is my partner we live in inverness she gets 3g, as mine is only a 2g phone (elf) i get gprs, have not yet found anywhere where i get edge coverage are tmobile not rolling out edge in the uk.?
Have you checked the "reported" coverage on the T-Mob site - http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/coverage/street-check/ - it gives the coverage for 2G and 3G, but no mention of EDGE.....
Might be worth a look?

X1a on TMOBILE HSPDA in New York

Jan 29 In New York City my X1a on Tmobile showes an EDGE signal than at 7pm it switched to a Big H signal with full bars where ever I went. Then at midnight it switched back to Edge. Was Tmobile running a test for their new network and can x1a get 3g speeds on this network?
no it's most likely that you roamed on to AT&Ts network...
I turned off my phone then went to connection settings. I made sure I wasnt roaming it was tmobile and when i roam to ATT it usually displays a 3G signal
Interesting... Did you notice faster download speeds?
I'm also on T-mo in the Northeast, so I'll keep my eye on it.
you won't always know when you are roaming. The carriers are doing a lot to hide the fact that you are not using their network...
anyway... if you are using TMO, when even have 3G enabled??? kinda waste of battery power....!

N4 T-Mobile hspa roaming

Since the n4 uses all frequencies of the USA T-Mobile & AT&T. Has anyone noticed T-Mobile roaming hspa off att in areas that T-Mobile does not offer their 4G service?

interesting to know
It is always interesting to know since they t-mobile were given 7 yrs to roam at 850mhz for 2G & 3G. Recently T-Mobile announced moving hspa, edge, and gsm to 1900mhz. I need to know if anyone is getting hspa T-Mobile roaming off att?

As far as I know, the roaming agreements only cover GSM (Voice and GPRS), and do not cover high speed data (HSPA, HSPA+, LTE).

Problem with 3G coverage over 900mhz

Hello
I've have a problem with my Note 3.
It does not connect to 3g network 900 mhz i think. In the same area i've tested ipad air 2, iphone 5s and a Doro phone all all those have the same carrier and have 3g coverage, but not my Note 3.
My Note 3 works fine on 4g and 3g/H in the city, but not where i live. I've been in contact with my carrier and Samsung, they all say it should work, but it does not work. I've also got a new sim card from my carrier, same problem. Only Edge coverage where the other phones get 3G.
Im not 100% sure about what frequency they use, but maybe someone have an app for the note 3 so see what it is connected to.
Maybe try to find the same app for apple and see what frequency they connect and get 3g coverage over.

Phone not getting full coverage or bars.

I bought a Sm-g928a sim unlocked, but I use t-mobile service. The tmobile and at&t use the same bands except for the 900 mhz range.
Tmobile version:
LTE Cat9 700/800/850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 (Bands 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,20)
At&t version:
LTE Cat9 700/800/850/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600 (Bands 1,2,3,4,5,7,12,17,20)
Every or 4g lte band is the same in att version, but I don't get full bars. Close as I get is 3 to 4 bars, and there is a major difference in coverage. I travel a lot in CA, my note 5 gets coverage everywhere even in rural parts of the state. Edge plus drops all signals in rural part of state.
I'm I missing something or does the 900mhz band, do the outer limits of service?
Does tmobile use the 900mhz band in CA?
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
bump...
same issue, sprint variant with t-mobile
I have the T-Mobile version, on T-Mobile and in I lose connectivity. It's annoying.
