I'd really like to have cm7 on my wildfire, but then i can't use my second sim-card anymore
Thanks in advance and I really appreciate your work
Hi hi,
What version of Cyanogen are you running?
I've not really used the application, but it runs for me.
Take Care,
Ivy
Hi,
I'm using Cyanogen Mod 7 Nightly # 14.
The application starts, but when I want to change to my second sim-card, nothing happens.
What version are you running?
Thanks in advance for your answers
Currently I'm using build 15.
Again I've never really used the sim toolkit, so I'm not sure If I'm missing something =)

Hi there i have an hd2 with custom roms. Is there any way to install android instead of the windows? I would rather use android instead of booting android everytime i reboot my phone. Please advise. Thank you.
No, not yet. Right now you can only store it on the SD card and run it like that, there is talk of a rom coming at some point but right now you will just have to use it as is. Best you can do is install an auto booter so when it resets it does a short count down and then loads android for you.

Hi guys, sorry I'm still new to rooting on android. Im currently running CM7 Build 34 and obviously Im having the problem that CM doesnt read contacts on the SIM card. My question is do all roms have this problem? or is just Cyanogenmod? If other ROMS are compatible with SIM crads, can you please list a few?
Thanks in advance and sorry for being such a newb
You can back up your contacts thru google with your email. Though I remember something about apps on the market that take them from your sim.

Royalginger, ice glacier thats the only roms ive flashed & they been perfect & also reads sim card contacts..
I noticed that not all my contacts moved when I first switched to an android device. My solution was stick the SIM card back into my old phone, copy the contacts to an Excel file, and re-enter the missing ones by hand (and delete dupes). And I always choose Google for new contacts so they all get backed up in the same place.

I have the same problem. Posted this question on another forum but no answer yet! I tryed ndrive 11 and still doesn´t work.
I have the same problem with ndrive 10, it won't opened but didn't show any FC message.
Ndrive 11 works on my RC3 but I couldn't manage to install the map since it didn't recognised my existing map.
Currently, I switched to Mapdroyd.

Sygic: GPS Navigation
Use 'Sygic: GPS Navigation', MapDroyd only shows the location on the map instead of driving directions. Plus it has an awesome GUI.*
*May this post 'not' popularise NDrive
Hello,
I got an HTC Nexus One with Android version 2.4 , the OS is having lots of issues such as Camera doesn't work and everything is very slow.
Now I was trying to ROOT the cell phone with Universal Androot and it supports only v2.2 , I was wondering if anyone can recommend me a way I can get my HTC Nexus One back to v2.2 or some alternative which works on Android v2.4.
Thank you very much for helpers!
P.S.
I'm new with the whole Android system.
Android 2.4 doesn't exist

If you're new, then start reading the wiki first. Then search.
Dude... the first thing you should do is a software update. the 2.37 is good enough for almost everyone, unless you need "more"
2.3.7 isn't official, you have toi flas cm7 toi get that .i'm currently running this rom.it's fast and solid

There are many new custom ROMs available for NexusOne.
I hope your device is rooted and as you said you are new to Android, I would suggest you to have gingerbread version of MIUI i.e 2.3. Its very statble and organised.:good:
Google it.. you'll get all stuff..where to download and how to flash it to your device.
Thank you very much for all replies guys,
but seriously I did try reading from the wiki what I could but it can never end... there are so many things to read it can take me weeks so a specific answer could be great.
I was trying to flash my cell phone a new ROM although all the ROMs I tried just never worked.
I tried MIUI v4.x and it just stuck on loading screen.
I tried MIUI v2.x And it keeps loading the OS and then do a restart over and over again , like a loop.
I tried some others and nothing really worked.
Currently I'm using the restore I had before I started to try Flashing ROMs and everytime I have my phone started it shows me some lock sign and then when it loads all my other applications get opened too and it's killing the battery, even when I try killing processes they get opened again after a few minutes, not to mention my camera doesn't work too. I am really lost and quite disappointed.
like someone said... android 2.4 doesn't exist. and as far as i know, camera works in ics and jb
try downloading a passimg.zip, then put it in the root of your sd card. then boot to hboot by pressing trackball and power button, then sellect bootloader, then follow the instructions. hope this helps

Yes, I did it and just installed Android v2.3.6 , but still the camera doesn't work and the battery dies really fast!
Is there any solution for that?
Thank you!

It is a logic board hardware issue. I had the same problem, htc fixed it for free, even with the bootloader unlocked...
Someone previously customized my HD2 to dual boot Windows 7 and CyanogenMod 7 several years ago.
I've recently started using the phone again, but am unable to purchase apps (all apps are outdated) from either marketplace.
I'd like to try updating CM7 to CM10, but am not sure if this is do-able, as this phone is not listed as a compatible device on the CM site.
This would personally be my first time trying anything like this on a non-iOS device - any help is appreciated!
Has anyone had any luck with this?
Thanks!
Hi i will help as much as i can. But you posted in windows thread you should have asked in the android thread.
