Hello everyone,
Got my Xoom over the weekend and so far am loving it! But for right now my main problem is you can't add a folder onto your home screen. Does anyone have any solutions for this?

Edit: Checked out the app but realized that you have to pay for it. Any apps that are free you know of?

I love folder organizer lite. Free on the market and works perfectly on xoom.

I love the genie widget but I can't get it to with on any of the vibrant 2.2 roms. Does anyone here have a working apk for 2.2 vibrant?? I've searched all over but all I can find is the same one I've been using since my g1.

Ya the one I was using on eclair FC on froyo. So, I found one that works last night. No problems all day today...even auto finding my location.

How did you install it. At 1st I got cannot install so I used root explorer to put it in system apps. That let me install, but all I get is fc when I try to use it

I used Root exp. Try rebooting your phone and see if that works. What way did you try installing the first time before root exp?
Thanks for your help but I can't seem to get it to work. I usually install directly from the download file in astro. I then tried using root explorer.

Is this the version of the program that brings up news stories in the program itself or does this version just display the headlines and opens the stories in the browser?
I posted a link to smoked glass geneiwidget in apps if interested. Looks better. It has about 70% transparency

The new NBA Jam is just about as good i got it on the PS3
I keep reading about the Reader's Hub that comes on the Galaxy Tab, yet mine doesn't have one and I don't see one in the Market. Was this not included in the T-Mo versions or am I completely missing something????

Thanks for the quick reply. I loaded the APK this morning and it's pretty bad ass. I just couldn't figure out why I didn't have it stock. That kind of sucks, it seems the Europeans get everything and we get a stripped down version. Don't get me wrong, it's the best device I have ever had, phone or otherwise, but phone calling ability and that readers hub would make it that much better.

After i updated from 2.2.2 to 2.3.4, the gallery on the version is all messed up, ie, no folders etc.
Everything is sorted via date......
Can anyone recommend a gallery viewer, or a fix, to be able to view the gallery via folders? (It does not provide that option when i go to sorting)
It makes it difficult searching for images located in different folders....

The first thing I do when installing a new rom is to let it build system files and then I open market once, accept the agreement, then reboot. Second thing? Freeze stock galleries and install quickpic.

The gb gallery is like that... kinda fail, as told to you before, youse another gallery, i use the 3d gallery in all my phones since i eclair. =p

Ok i have noticed that any app that is downloaded is placed on the main screen, dont know about anybody else i find that anoying because i have to delete all the apps that i dont want on the screen, is there any way to stop this or is this done automatically by honeycomb?

Hi all,
I am using a nexus 7 in Australia.
I can see lots of apps like Google mags, wallet, ect with eh file explorer in /system/app/ but I can't see them in app drawer.
I have deodexed all my apps.
Can someone please tell me how I can get the apps to show in the app drawer.

You need to defrost them with Titanium Backup - you will have to do this after every reboot too. For Wallet, you will have to jump through a few hoops, as per my guide.
Ok thanks heaps, I will do the now.
But is the anyway I can make them visible permently?
If I flash a USA stock firmware, would they all be visible?

I don't know to be honest. I would like them permanently visible too Maybe a custom ROM will resolve it. I haven't tried one yet but I plan to over the next few days.
